Wachapregue inn is a no frills motel. Out of the way and near fishing (they cater to the fisherman). Clean and neat, across the street from a really nice restaurant and bar. Quiet and quaint village. We enjoyed our stay!

Simple and easy accommodations. Nothing fancy, but if you're looking just for a place to sleep and then be out & about this is an excellent choice. Much more reasonable rates than other places in the area (looking at you major hotel chains!). We stopped for the night on our way to the Outer Banks and both of us said we'd like to come back when to explore when we had more time to do so!

It was a one night stop while in the area visiting friends. Had an awesome stay, cute town. So peaceful, if you need to unplug check is cute spot out. Great time loved meeting the mayor Stanley 🐈 😂.

Delightful stop on the Eastern Shore. A basic little motel but in a lovely tiny town not too far off the beaten path. Excellent restaurant with a view of the marsh and oyster beds is just across the street. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast nothing special but the free arrival drink (beer or soda in a can) was a pleasant little perk. A nice change from a chain hotel.

Nice little place in a little town. It rained the night we stayed but we enjoyed taking a short drive and hanging out in our room.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast is coffee and pastries so I question whether that is a real breakfast. The trash can outside our door attracted a lot of flies and of course they got into our room. It took two days to empty it. Overall good value within a charming town that has character and is walkable and good for biking.

Lovely little town. Friendly staff

Great place to stay on the Eastern Shore. The place is old but nicely taken care of. The local restaurant was delicious. The staff was great. My only complaint was how hard the mattress was on the bed. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

I liked the friendly staff!

I was quite satisfied. The building style is typical roadside motel, with rooms facing a central parking area. My room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The front desk person (perhaps she is the owner?) was friendly and helpful.

I love the feel of this hotel and it's location. It feels like a fishing village.
Don't let it's age fool you. All rooms are modern and clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We needed a place to stay for a last minute trip and chose the Wachapreague Inn because it was reasonably priced and close to where we needed to be. It is definitely old school, but was absolutely charming and super clean. We were very comfortable and the staff (including the hotel lobby cat) was friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

It must be years since I stayed in a motel where you drive up to your room. Motel dated. Rooms dated. Checkin and out easy breezy.

This place has small town charm, NO hidden fees. Pet Fee was $33. Although it is old, I like it as a breath of fresh air from big hotel chains.

The Inn is right on the coast in an adorable small town. Plenty of dining and shopping options just 6 miles away.
Continental breakfast and a cute coffee shop less than 1/2 a block away that serves breakfast and lunch.
Very retro clean, comfortable and affordable motel, so if you’re looking for high end luxury this isn’t for you ☺️

The electrical outlets are not well placed if you need to plug in sleeping equipment at night.

It’s an old style motel that is clearly loved and cared for. I will stay there again. Simple, but with a really nice vibe.

The staff are very nice and helpful. The room had many flys.

Beyond speaking to your front desk in under an hour of mistakenly booking with you; I attempted to contact Expedia, to no avail. Their lay form is not user friendly. Your staff was even kind enough to call me the following day to share the outing was not taken down. I again tried before booking date to cancel but found it impossible to get acknowledgement —- what to do? Don’t wish to be billed when in good faith attempted to cancel immediately!

Excellent location and great staff. Bathroom could use some updating, but who spends lots of time in there! Also, great places to hang out outside with chairs, side tables, and picnic tables. Beautiful view. Cannot wait to go back.

The AC is inadequate for the summer heat, it would not drop temperature below 75 in room, thankfully it was not 90 outside. The ceiling fan helped but wobbled and rattled, was afraid it would fly off. Had a a few flys we could not get rid of. Towels hanging on bathroom door from previous renters. No TMobile service In town. The restaurant across the street was great.

Very quiet place. No issues. Staff was awesome. Great spot to get away from all the hustle. Not accessible to the ocean unless you take a boat taxi. Chincoteague and Assateague were about 45 mins away. Loved being able to ride the free bikes the Inn offered :)

Sweet place. Simple family owned motel.

Made a reservation for an overnight stay as I was just passing through the area. I was traveling and the hotel called to confirm my reservation and check in instructions. What a cute fishing village! I had no idea. Hotel is up to date and clean. If I’m ever in the area again I would definitely look them up.

The staff was super friendly, and the accommodations were adequate. I was in town for a family emergency, so I was unable to use any of the additional services provided by the Inn. Every interaction I had on site was delightful.

Peace, quiet in a small town. It was the perfect getaway from the hectic daily life.

Stay was great. Hotel is older but in excellent condition with very nice aesthetic touches. You can fell the warmth of the family owned business. The staff were friendly and very responsive. Free bikes were a very nice special touch. Would stay again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Check in was easy and we enjoyed the complimentary beverage. When we mentioned we were leaving for an event early in the morning (before the coffee and pastries) they offered and brought us a coffeemaker and all the supplies we needed to brew coffee in our room. A very thoughtful and nice touch. The restaurant across the street was excellent! We enjoyed our stay so much and plan to come back another time to do a boat tour and to kayak in the area.
