Excellent hotel, very clean, our room was ok, great comfortable bed, the pillars were amazing and the shower was so powerful, staff were very polite and friendly, Gurkan helped us so much, with getting us a map and giving us information on getting around, our whole experience of Arlo Midtown was excellent

Enjoyed my stay with a couple of friends at Arlo Midtown. The hotel was beautiful and the location was very convenient.

Always delivers. Great staff and even better location

I’ve stated at this hotel, probably 10 or 12 times and this was the only time I was very disappointed with the check in process. They did not have a room ready in the early afternoon as we requested, but they took my number to be told when room was available. At 2 PM I received a text saying the room was available. We went to check-in and long story short the room wasn’t ready until 4:10

Loved this place. Great location, comfort, and cool conveniences.

Beautiful hotel. Staff was very friendly. Nice modern touches!

The hotel itself was really nice! The staff courteous and friendly. I was surprised the rooms didn't have a Keurig or anything like that- no water bottles, nothing. Every other hotel I've ever stayed at has something to offer guests. The room service was terrible, they brought the wrong thing twice. I called the hotel desk 3 times to try to get it corrected, but it never got corrected and I never got what I requested. Very frustrating!!

We stayed at the Arlo Midtown for five days to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place for our first trip to New York! The hotel is perfectly located, making it easy to explore the city. The staff was amazing—always friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food was fantastic, and the overall vibe of the hotel was great. Our room, while compact, was very clean, modern, and serviced regularly. We had such a wonderful time and highly recommend staying at the Arlo Midtown for anyone visiting NYC!

Excellent hotel. Very clean everywhere and the rooms were cosy and relatively well sound proofed from most of the outside noise.
Whilst the room wasn’t huge, there was plenty of storage and room to move around despite the large bed.

Traveling with my family. I liked the location, short walk to Madison Square Garden for a concert. The gym was good and the staff helpful. The room was clean, but not new (everything was working, just not new)

Tiny room, but clean and had everything!
Would totally recommend. Great mid town location. Not for a couples retreat but a good business working hotel room.

Has gone down hill from previous year. Our room was missing a vent cover and blew dust in when AC turns on and our shower door leaked water on the floor.

I’ve been staying at the Arlo since it opened and had a great experience every single time. Good location, beautiful rooms, and very comfortable common areas. Highly recommended.

Great location in midtown, however the room was tiny (too small for a couple with two suitcases) and we were tripping over each other.

I love this hotel! I have stayed here multiple times and it is my favorite hotel in Manhattan.

I have in my hotels.com list that I want to be away from elevators and the maiden room .
Our room was direct next to the laundry room and the elevator was behind our bedroom door..we stayed for 10 days and it is a expensive hotel..I don’t know why these little notes are not getting read anymore I sent to the hotel in advance.we booked months ahead.do I get punished for booking via hotels.com instead of directly? Other than that ,if you are not out by 10:30 you don’t get house service till like 5:30.i loved the location and the coffee shop inside.but the price was too high for the service .also got a brunch reservation and it only had the regular breakfast menu.i liked it but it’s not a good price value.

The hotel provided a comfortable place to stay - apart from a tap outlet coming off the fitting and spraying my wife with water.
However avoid if you wish to use a mobile phone. I could not get a wifi connection and had to resort to local cafes. It was the only location out of over 20 in our holiday that this occurred.
I raised it with the General Manager offering to let his IT examine my phone to see if there was some incompatibility with their system. He was not interested.
I was not on a business trip so it was a minor inconvenience but it may be a major problem for some guests.

It's a cute but tired hotel. Location was great and walkable to our theatre show. Some nice spots near by to eat in cluding Steak Frittes and Chi. The Korean BBQ place across the street was fun but pricey on the weekend.
Breakfast service wasn't the best, though the food was good. The rooms themselves have mechanical issues - too hot or too cold and my friends suite AC wasn't even working
For NYC I guy the price is ok. Front desk staff were wonderful and helpful. I neven made it to the gym but we loved the rooftop patio restaurant and bar. Great view of the Empire State bldg.

Rooms are tiny. Not ADA Compliant.

Great location and value for money (for being NYC…) if you need to be in Midtown. Staff is so nice! Great rooms and bathrooms with amenities. Only thing I missed was a magnifying mirror… Two free cans of water per day. Great coffee shop in the lobby. Will return!

Arlo Midtown was a super nice and trendy place to stay. I loved the rooms and the stylish design, and the beds were absolutely fantastic. While the rooms were on the smaller side, they had everything you needed, and given it’s New York, I wasn’t expecting anything large, so that was fine. On the downside, the elevator system was a bit confusing to figure out at first. Also, there was some kind of noise in my room, like a banging sound every five minutes, which was a bit annoying.

Lovely hotel in a great location, handy to get around on foot or subway. Rooms are small but we didnt find and issue and there were three of us in one room. All staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel and room exceptionally clean and beds were really comfortable.

Customer service was attentive because there were so many staff in lobby. However the breakfast was subpar and needs a better cook or updated menu. Coffee was good.

Stayed here recently and felt disappointed in this hotel generally. Some of this is my fault for not doing enough research on the area, as it's basically Times Square and an absolute tourist trap. Hence, I'll only comment on the hotel.
Pros: liked the food at Altair, general lobby area was very cute, valet and front desk folks were quite nice.
Cons: rooms were so small that you barely had room to move around, housekeeping did not replace dirty cups or new water bottles everyday and seemed to leave our prior damp bathroom mat, both the blow dryers we received seemed to be old and broken, no closet space (just a hanger), our phone had to be replaced because it wasn't working, bathroom was so small that you couldn't move much without touching a wall.

We had a good stay! Clean, friendly, modern. The only consideration is the temperature in the room was a bit hard to control (from freezing to steaming the room when we turned it up a notch). But overall we would stay here again. Loved the rooftop!

The hotel was really nice and modern. Zero wait times for the elevators. Clean rooms with excellent room temperature - AC was great. Staff very helpful and efficient. However, the wait time to check in once I arrived could have been better. Maybe more staff specifically for check-in? Overall, nice hotel, modern rooms, central location.

Great restaurants in the area, walkable. Hotel was very clean, modern and great breakfast at restaurant in hotel.

Convenient, good for someone with dust allergies. We requested a non-pet friendly room and one was available.
10.0
Reasonably priced Manhattan hotel, convenient to transportation. The room was updated and comfortable, albeit small. The staff was courteous and helpful. There's a cafe on the ground floor where you can grab a quick breakfast, and a really nice rooftop bar.

So far the best place to stay in NYC
6.0
The room was large and clean, water was hot! What I didn't like was that the foyer is open all the way up. We stayed on the 3rd floor and could hear everything that was going on downstairs at all times. The location felt a tad bit unsafe as it was dimly lit and people was always digging in the trash outside. Over all it wasn't that bad but I would not stay here again.
