Great location, friendly staff and nice room.

Was not there for spa services Can’t comment on those.
Older property. Clean but very small bathrooms.
Not large rooms. Very firm mattress, for good or bad.
Restaurant on site has very limited hours.
Great vue of water in front of property.
There was a nice multi purpose trail with access to beach and centre of town across the main road but no crosswalk to get to it.
Dangerous to cross.

There was a strange chemical smell - stronger in the hallways but still very present in the rooms. The rooms had all the amenities exoected, just a bit dated.

Check in went smoothly, staff are lovely. The room was nice and a good size. We liked that they have beach towels, beach chairs and parking passes available to guests. Staff were nice but management, not so much. There is a sign warning that you will pay for towels that you stain. The towels are small, feeble, brown and blue towels worth next to nothing. Maybe better to not provide them if it winds you up that much. Next - upon checkout, someone on a motorized cart who had been watching us pack the car, raced over at 11:03am, curtly tapped his watch and asked "are you checking out?" After we stated the obvious, "yes", he raced over to another guest who was also packing his car and threatened a late check out fee! Management needs to remember this is hospitality and not the military.

I was not given a final receipt for the booking. I was told that your company - Hotel.com would email it to me. I am not happy that I did not receive that final receipt. I do not plan on booking through your company in the future

Good for an overnight stay - could use a little TLC. Security latch on the inside of the room would be good

Toilet wouldn't flush right even after they came. Shower stall leaked all over the bathroom floor, told them about it. Still same after they came. Not a fan, won't ever return!

The bed was horrible, resulting in a bad sleep, resulting in an average review score.

Loved the view! Loved the people of Carleton! The restaurant was nice but if you don't book a long stay with spa treatments, you feel like a second class guest. The room we were put in needs to be updated. But for the price we paid, it was what we expected. I would give this hotel 3/5 stars.

They should never have rented the room we had. The room was not leveled. I have vertigo so I felt there was a problem right away. Staff seemed surprised. We slept on the foot of the bed with pillows under our feet to level us. Not funny at all.

Super emplacement!

Very nice location, across Barachois, Baie des Chaleurs.
The staff is courtois, there is breakfast served as well, the most complex found so far in Quebec.
8.0
The staff was kind particularly as we were not French speaking. Also, while it is an older hotel, you can see they have concentrated their upgrades on the interiors and guest rooms. It was lovely

Nice hotel on the waterfront, clean, quiet. Beach is across the street, walking distance. Water was warm within the enclosed bay (two sand-banks).
