Rude and unprofessional. Very disappointed with our treatment from the staff. No one to express our concerns to as the rest of the staff or managers did not care. For as much money as you are spending they make you feel as if they are doing you a favor by letting you stay and show attitude at every chance. They are very disrespectful.

My party stayed for three nights. The Villa was very nice with awesome vistas and unique in many ways. Without question the host, Alisio, was the best, most helpful we have ever experienced. The sit-down morning breakfasts on the outdoor patio overlooking the Amalfi coast were a spectacular experience. On the whole we enjoyed our stay. Two things to know concern stairs and transportation. My wife and I are in our 70s and our Villa room was 140 stone steps above the street. It was challenging for us. Also, the transportation situation is problematic. The Villa is about two kilometers outside of town. If you have you own car you're in good shape. But if you don't you're going to deal with expensive taxis, overcrowded public buses and private drivers to get around. We finally had to rely on Alisio to arrange a private driver for several trips because the overcrowded public buses would not stop to pick us up. He was wonderful and took good care of us!

It is an excellent property with great views of Amalfi. We had partial view from our room looking east. Other rooms in the property may have south facing views. We noticed some rooms have private terraces. We loved everything about it. The breakfast was excellent. Martina and Allesio are beautiful people with always a smile on their faces. Please note that parking charges of 30 euros/night plus 5 euro/person/night are not included in booking amounts. Although the climb is worth it, please be prepared to climb 100 steep steps from parking lot to rooms. It is not for older or overweight people or those with bad knees or weak heart. Two great but expensive restaurants within walking distance. Neither have good vegiterian options. Amalfi town is 10 min drive and Positano is about an hour.

Even before we arrived, Alessio was extremely helpful in planning our arrival to Amalfi - very responsive and informative via email. When we arrived we were greeted with warmth and smiles from both him and Martina. Our room was stunning with an enormous terrace facing the sea. Martina and staff brought a delicious breakfast each morning and provided bus tickets when needed. Any question we asked, they were there to help. Everyone was lovely and kind. Villa Alba D’Oro is an absolute gem. We will be back!

Our time in Amalfi was so wonderful. Staying at the Villa was the best decision we made for our accommodations. The whole staff were so helpful and kind. Martina and Allisio specifically were amazing hosts. The scenery was breathtaking. We started each day with a lovely breakfast and wonderful cappuccinos while learning about the area thanks to Martina. I had to hold back the tears after leaving this beautiful place. I’ll not forget the lemons all over , the rooster that was up in the hills , the food and most of all, the hosts of the Villa. We couldn’t think of a better place to have spent our honeymoon. Thank you all for making our trip so unforgettable. Grazie Grazie!!

Fantastic stay here! The whole place was magical! Martina greeted us & showed us this amazing rooftop terrace, and our beautiful room. The room was comfortable & the next morning they brought us this huge beautiful breakfast out on the terrace! I wish we could have stayed longer!!!

We are pretty seasoned travelers at this point and we usually stay in budget hotels since we don’t spend an awful amount of time in the room (we are usually out exploring all day and most of the evening). After having an unpleasant experience in Venice and then staying in some decent places in Siena and Minori, we decided to cancel one of our final nights of our vacation in Rome and stay an additional night on the Amalfi Coast. This hotel is a dream! And it’s not expensive at all, but it had all the amenities of a five star hotel. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful; which has not been our experience throughout most of Italy. The room itself was extremely well appointed and found everything that we needed and more. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and we found that we accidentally slept in! We were concerned we would miss breakfast and so my husband popped down to grab some items and they insisted on bringing breakfast to us! Their homemade lemon cake is a delight! There is about 100 stairs to climb, but the staff kindly (and most gratefully) help with the luggage. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous with so many beautiful plants, flowers, and of course, lemon trees. This, to me, was the true Italian dream; impeccable views, feeling like I was with family, good food, and the most beautiful and comfortable room. When we return to Italy, we will most certainly be staying here again. Until then, we’ll be dreaming of this most lovely accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa alba d’oro! Alessio and Martina were very helpful and attentive and always made themselves available to answer any questions. Alessio helped arrange airport transfers, taxi rides throughout our stay, and also explained the bus schedule/routes. The property is absolutely stunning with beautiful ocean views, a pool, and charming, clean rooms. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast spread that was served every morning on the patio. The location is a bit further out from the center of town but I preferred that bc it is quite busy and hectic in town and it’s only a short car ride away. There is also a delicious restaurant (Da Ciccio Cielo Mare Tarre) that is just walking distance from the villa that we highly recommend! Amalfi is such a beautiful place and staying at the Villa Alba D’Oro made our trip all the more special. Will definitely return! And special thanks to Alessio and Martina!

The property and view from our terrace was amazing! Delicious breakfast. The owners took excellent care of us. I would highly recommend this place. I would caution that the stairs can be daunting if you’re elderly or have health issues. You’re rewarded with the most amazing views and it’s an historic villa. I can’t say enough about it. It was outstanding!
