The people working at this hotel, mainly the ladies at the front desk, are so rude! They are barely at their desk. People are standing around waiting to be helped. These ladies are ON THEIR PHONE too much! They definitely need to be talked to. They don't look at you when you walk in. They don't speak to you. They need to be let go!

We were in town for a wedding. The hotel was very clean and had a great breakfast.

The hotel seemed to be clean, and our room, initially, was clean. The ladies at the registration desk were wonderful! Room service was only every other day. There were only two wash clothes, two bath towels, and one hand towel in the room when we arrived and no one restored them the next day. When room service came on Wednesday, the lady left us one wash cloth and one bath towel!! We had to pick up bath linens every day while we were there, and as I've said, the ladies at the registration desk were fantastic. That's where we had to pick up additional linens, etc Room service did not include sweeping the floors, but on the 5th day, the cleaning lady swept the floors. No closet and no drawers or baskets for storing our clothing. We lived out of our luggage all five days. Five hangers were available on a pole and some hooks on the walls (no closet). Maybe a one-night stay would be fine, but we will never stay at TRU again. VERY disappointed in Hilton for putting their name on this place.

Everything was great! They ran out of toothpaste at the front, but they were completely booked so I understand. The hallways and common areas were quite hot but the room itself cooled off nicely! There were fingernail clippings on the windowsill…. That was pretty yucky. Lol.

Was very disappointed in the room. No dressers, closet, safe or even pictures on the walls. Beds were comfy but pillows were just adequate. The dust ruffle on that bed which should be between the mattress and box spring was under the bedspread. We arrived on a rainy day and there was no overhang to keep you and your luggage dry. Only one way in and out of the property making it difficult to leave if another car was checking in. Assumed a Hilton Hotel would have done far better. Will not be staying at a Tru hotel in the future.

They oversold the hotel rooms. There was none for me and my son at 11:15 at night. What do I do now????

I wanted to love it here. The staff was so friendly. The breakfast was good. But the parking… THE BEDDING!! Nope. the parking was NOT it for a rainy weekend with kids. You cannot park around the property. You have to park far on the right of it and I’ve never had to park so far from a hotel in my life. Having my kids and then it storming was a nightmare. The sheets… the bedsheets were absolutely terrible! They’re so thin and small (I had queen size) and it wasn’t a big fluffy one we usually get at hotels. And I’ve stayed at a ton. The AC was on the whole entire time and noisy and COLD. No matter what I did. I’ve never had such a terrible sleeping problem in a hotel before. Unfortunately I will not be back. But the staff was the best!

Great location just a few minutes up from the harbor and the shopping area around. Clean and staff is on point.
One exception, one of the front desk employees was down right rude. Wouldn’t even get up from her lab top to go to her work area to discuss business. And it’s not Shy, Shy was amazing!

The staff was ok! I walked in several times and one was laying down in the lobby. Also, they didn’t clean the table area where you sit. The walls were thin you could hear other in their room. The doors would slam very hard when you left the room. Breakfast had great variety. Parking seemed far away from hotel.

Easy to find hotel. Very friendly staff checking in and out. Neat lobby with lots of options for snacks, seating and they even had a pool table! We had a nice size room with two comfortable bed. Large bathroom. And we were thrilled to find excellent water pressure in the shower.
But the floor was so horrible filthy we couldn’t walk across it barefoot. The shower had long hair left along with other filth on the shower wall. I really liked the hotel but when I think about how dirty the floor and shower were it makes me wonder if housekeeping was being lazy, did they even change the sheets! Yikes!!

This Tru hotel has a lovely uplifting motif - lots of colors, images and messages to brighten your spirits. We especially appreciated the mural of Rockwall. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was delicious - more substantial than the typical hotel. We really enjoyed our visit.

Wow it’s been a while since I’ve stayed in a hotel that I really enjoyed. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly, loved the water bottle fill station, and breakfast was good! The area of town is super nice and close to lots of things!

We really enjoyed using the cornhole & other games in the lobby. It was quite chilly & rainy while we visited and the lobby became a great family hangout!

Stayed here 3 nights because of a flood in my house from broken pipe. Had to get away from running fans and heaters to dry it out. Was a great place to rest from the noise.

Staff moved me to a different room after the first (sleepless) night. 2nd room had quieter unit - but the fact that ALL rooms have noisy, grindy, wall units that will NOT shut off even if you turn them off is a *real* problem.

Front desk was very accommodating. Property is within walking distance of the Harbor. Liked the pool table and my daughter loved the hanging egg chairs.

Best experience we've ever had it was perfect. We Will definitely be back since we drive from 46 miles North of Amarillo Tx. 7 hour drive to Rockwall Tx to see my husband's Surgeon that has replaced now both of his knees everyone was very welcoming and nice always smiling. Rooms were small. I asked for king size bed but I think the bed in the room given to me was queen size. Besides, the water was not draining well in the sink in the bathroom and the pressure of the water from the shower was low. Had a terrible experience.

Immediate greet with a smile, the entire lobby setup is very welcoming. Nice chairs, seating area, pool table and the water fountain has the function to refill water bottles. Room was very spacey as well as the bathroom. Comfortable beds, quiet hotel, and breakfast and coffee/juice as well. Just off of 30, very conveniently located. Highly recommended.

Our room was fine and the only concern was the key card section on the door was missing a part of it. Everything else was fine and the beds were nice.
My parents also stayed at the hotel a few rooms down and their room had electrical issues, no soap in the bathroom, and the shower handle would not turn and the water was ice cold the whole time.

Fairly new hotel but not well maintained. The hallways were dirty. Room had some obvious issues. Windows in the room do not open and a loud fan was always running even with air condition / heater off.

I think the location, staff and amenities were great. I do think they were short staffed as the hallways and lobby bathrooms hadn’t been vacuumed or swept in a while. Our room was never serviced during our 3 night stay which would’ve been acceptable if I had been notified upfront. When you expect to comeback to a clean and made up room only to find it’s not, it’s kind of off putting. Also, we had no hot water the third day!? Not sure why as it was a Monday morning at 5:30am.
