Third time we’ve stayed at Quincy’s and as usual the rooms were excellent. The welcome was friendly and we were met with a complimentary bottle of wine, due to our Hotels.com booking.
There was an issue with the lifts on the Friday and Saturday of our stay, with one lift being out of action meaning waiting times to head up or down were longer than usual. What made these times worse was the constant use of the lifts by staff to travel one or two floors. Crazy that staff weren’t directed to walk between floors, which in turn lessens the waiting time for guests and enhances their experience.
We also visited the rooftop bar on this stay, and, it obviously caters to a different demographic than my wife and I. We’ll give it a miss next time. And there will be a next time as aside from a few minor distractions on this trip, Quincy’s is a great place to stay. Comfortable with great access to most Melbourne attractions.

Overall great.
The hallway carpets were always dirty from the visitor traffic and the houskeeping activities. It made the whole place feel dirty even when it wasn't.
Coffee pods were not refreshed regularly.
Included breakfast should really include a proper barista coffee.

No longer stocks anything in the room for drinks or snacks. A bit poor for this level of hotel

I love staying here normally but on this occasion, I did feel it wasn't up to the usual standard it has been in my previous stays. This was a short overnight stay as part of a longer multi-city trip and I booked the standard Quincy room which I haven't stayed in before. I normally opt for the altitude room as it's spacious and truly luxurious. However, this room was very small in comparison, I was unable to fully open my large 83cm suitcase next to the double bed, and the bed was quite close to the wall and TV. However, the more annoying things were that I had to wait over 45 minutes to check in as my room wasn't ready even though this was after check-in time (I checked in by 3:40 pm), the room wasn't as clean as I have been used to at Quincy (cup marks on the table and dirt in the sink), and lastly the noise!! Quincy is next to a nightclub on the front side of the building which on Fridays and Weekend stays open until 7am or later. I love a night out and party and often do when I travel, but I also like being able to sleep in a room that costs over 220 AUD a night. I have never noticed this problem before as I'm usually on floors 13-27 so it's far enough from the street. But on this occasion, I was on floor 3, meaning I could hear everything all night. I feel like small details were missed and I also had no body wash in the shower, just two shampoos. In saying this, this is the first negative experience I have had so I will give Quincy another shot.

Had a lovely stay on floor 27, very clean and spacious room with beautiful city views.

Takes a long time for services ie room service etc. waited 40 minutes for a coffee that never came and found out that our order hasn’t even been placed. Also waited for cocktails for around 40 minutes and got charged $5 room delivery fee.

Nice place to stay - close to river, restaurants, Queen Vic Market,…
Had a very nice, clean and spacious room. Everything seemed to be pretty new, or maintained well. Only thing that bothered me in the bathroom was, that the tap was too large for the sink. You have to be careful to not spill everything on your pants when washing your hands. Don’t know what happened here during construction, but either the taps were ordered wrong, or the sink should have been mounted different.
Also worth mentioning is that the street is not the most beautiful. There are at least two strip clubs on the other side of the road and some kind of homeless/ drug help Center few doors down the road. I did not feel unsafe or uncomfortable but others may.

Funky place to stay - close to a variety of restaurants but also offers a great bar and restaurant but was closed the night we were there.

Good location. Excellent room with great views (14th floor). Quite some noise from nightclub down the street. Fitness room to small but would stay again.

We had a family room, both rooms are good size with nice comfy beds. We are on the 13 floor, you can hear the noise from outside but it didn’t bother us. We had breaky at salted egg which was really yummy. All staff are so lovely too. We already plan to stay there again for our next return in December.

Whilst the hotel was absolutely amazing and one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, I found the area around it to be very seedy and not they type of area I would like to hang around in. It was also a little bit of a walk to get to Southern Cross or Flinders Street Stations, and trams weren’t always frequent. Apart from that the staff were always super helpful and accommodating, and the room was absolutely stunning.

Hotel was as expected in this price range. Staff friendly. The location was terrible. Got no sleep as it is opposite two Gentleman’s Clubs and the noise/music continued until 6am in the morning. Cars racing past blasting horns and shouting from the street.
Will not be staying here again. Feel sorry for the staff.

Nice hotel in good area and lovely staff. I like a bit of air movement in my room when sleeping but the air con doesn’t work like that. I still had a nice sleep though. Pool is decent.
Will stay again.

Room was nice albeit compact, check in was pleasant and staff lovely. The problem this hotel has is that if you’re in a room facing the streets below, you’ll hear a lot of noise. The strangest thing however is that I found it was quite hot in the room and this left me unable to sleep. I tried to alter the air conditioning but nothing I did worked. In the end I had to call reception to ask them how to use the air conditioning but for some bizarre reason, it’s locked and only the reception can set the temperature. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that doesn’t trust you with setting the temperature in your room yourself. As a result I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or entertain coming back.

The staff are wonderful, the room was clean and comfy and the hotel is in a perfect location. The staff at the Q were also very friendly and the drinks were delicious. This was my 3rd stay at the Quincy and it will not be my last.

Convenient location and felt very safe. Staff were great and the food at the Salted Egg was delicious

Hotel and staff were great however there is a lot of street noise even up at the higher levels. Noise coming from the nightclub across road and beeping horns at 2am. Windows not double glazed which is a shame because it’s a nice hotel.

Pretty decent boutique hotel experience. Location is generally convenient, if not in the centre of the main attractions. Close to Southern Cross Station. It’s noisy, being on busy King St opposite the strip joints. Could hear traffic and people screaming on the street even from floor 21. Being a Fri and Sat night didn’t help. Rooms are pretty nice and have a modern feel, if some odd design choices — the hand basin is way too small and oddly located, making it awkward to use (unnecessarily so as there’s plenty of space in the bathroom). Rooftop bar is pretty funky, with a decent view. Bring a torch, it’s dark. Ultimately I had a good stay but didn’t sleep well enough to justify another stay.

Very nice place, and great customer service. It would've been an absolute 5-star if the room was a tad bigger and the weather-proofing was great. I happened to stay on one of the coldest days, and despite setting the heating at maximum, the room was still pretty chilly.

Property is great, but couldn’t control the temperate from the room. Kept having to call the front desk for them to adjust the temperature, and this occurred constantly over 3 days. Otherwise great stay
