What I’m really pissed about is when we got to the room our door had a busted lock on it that we didn’t feel safe then we had blood stains on our bed we call to have this disgusting bed change and this is unacceptable I work for Marriott hotel for 22 years and I know then would have completely comp our room are move us to a new room I paid good money for this room and I’m really unhappy with blood on the bed how could you not see blood on the bed and I still tipped the housekeeper $ 5 dollars for changing our bed but I couldn’t get and type of change or anything we just didn’t feel safe with a busted locked on the door. We stayed in room 233

Beware that many of these rooms do not have a desk and desk chair. Spent a week sitting on an uncomfortable banquet chair at a tiny table trying to work. If you need a functional desk this is not the hotel for you.

The hotel was very easy to access via I-35 and other roads. It is surrounded by many restaurants and shopping options. The rooms are impeccable - clean, roomy and very comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. A light breakfast is available at a very moderate price, although there's a Denny's quite nearby. I enjoyed using the pool and the gym, both of which were very clean and well equipped. All in all, I would highly recommend Aloft as a wonderful place to stay!

On our 2nd night we ware awaken at might to one of the hotel employees in our room… to deliver towels even tho she had delivered towels couple hrs before so that was quite the surprise. Overall the property looked newer and clean, very quiet location.

The staff was super nice and told us everything we needed to know, where everything was! The rooms were super clean and organized! the drinks at the bar were good!! there was no problems at all whatsoever! I do want to say is that there is no door in between the beds and the bathtub, only to use the toilet there’s a door.

Excellent facility with a "hip" vibe. Very clean, nice staff and spacious rooms. I did not use the pool or gym, but they seemed to be very popular. Once again, I did not use the bar, but there was a community atmosphere coming from the lobby with all the bar attendees.

This place was a quick car ride to knuckleheads saloon, where we saw a concert. Cute bar with good options. Nice lobby and outdoor patio. My only complaints: there were not outlets by the nightstands, which was somewhat inconvenient and there is a gap on the window shade that does not affect privacy, but morning light can shine through. I forgot my sleep mask and there’s no actual curtains to get a full blackout.

No complaints— was easy to check in and out, no fee to park, and room was very clean. Bed was comfortable and there were multiple places available to charge electronics. Also love Drybar toiletry products and free makeup wipes.

We did not enjoy the lady that checked us in. She did not communicate well and was not friendly or approachable. The lady that checked us out in the morning was friendly and courteous. I would recommend this hotel based on its cleanliness and spacious rooms.

Friendly and helpful staff, bedrooms were not cleaned every day. I stayed for 5 nights and the bedsheets were not changed once. Asked at the reception to replace the conditioner in the shower but not done. Not conditioner for my last day. It says to have restaurant at the hotel but there is none. It has option for snacks, small hot breakfast but not really restaurants which was not too bad.

The hotel was a bit more modern than I go for, but it was plenty comfortable, and I liked the set up of the room. The only thing that caught me off guard was that there was no door to the shower and sink area, and the wall between this area and the bed was just some frosted glass panels. I only booked a room with one bed, and I was traveling by myself, so this was no big deal, and won't keep me from staying here again. I would recommend looking into the bathroom design before sharing a room with others though.

This was a safe and solid option for us for an event in downtown KC on a weekend. Parking was easy, as was access to downtown by car. The room was mostly very comfortable, with good amenities. Some small things that could have been better: they're just using one-ply toilet paper; the shower door did not close all the way, but appeared to, so the shower leaked out onto the bathroom floor; there was a stain on the ottoman in our room; the lotion with our bath products hadn't been replaced, so the bottle had a dent in it and it had clearly been used previously. The hotel is nice NOW, but as little things like this add up over the years, it will probably not be as nice when it isn't as new.
