I used Hotels.com to make the reservation. I had used the app successfully for 5 nights with the same request. Two rooms, one with an ADA bathroom. No problem with other hotels but when I get to this hotel, they want to upcharge me. They blamed the upcharge on the fact that they did not have a room as it was advertised on Hotels.com. I was irritated, but I was not going to fight it. But, it gets worse: they could not upcharge the current reservation because it was a "third party app", and he insinuated it was my fault! Over 51% of all USA hotel reservations are made through third party apps! How was this my fault!? HE tells me to cancel the reservation, which if you use the app, you know you cannot cancel at 8:00pm the night of check-in. Anyway, it gets worse. I allow another whole room with up-charge on my credit card for a "third" room to allow my 80-year mother to have a bathroom she could use. But when I try to get the refund from Hotels.com, even though I have the receipt, it takes over an hour to get on the phone! So... buyer beware. The good things include: a VERY clean and seemingly new hotel; easy parking; big rooms and a friendly day staff. Maybe if you have no special needs whatsoever, this would be a great stay. But prepare to be blamed if you need anything and used Hotels.com or another third party app for a reservation.

We drive 580 miles to get to this hotel. We came to town to attend the C10 Nationals that was held at the Nashville Super Speedway. It was a great weekend, and great to relax in our hotel room.

Book the room the day of stay. Tom was quick to get me check in and friendly. I also liked how he was the first person to ever show me my room number and not say it out loud. With all my travels, I think that is a great practice! Breakfast was great as Brenda Lee (From Tennessee) was friendly and helpful especially when I needed more orange juice! and her co worker Courtney at the front desk was a nice smiling face in the morning. I hope her voice has recovered. Thanks for the great stay!

First night i got bite by bed bugs with an accommodation of room exchange only to arrive to another room that had the same issue…my kids and i did not sleep comfortable at all…the staff was very apologetic, but the General manager basically said i was lying about the situation when i showed proof of bite marks and a photo of bed bugs…His name is Tony

Took a good few minutes for the staff to get us checked in. Got our room and room key and went up to it. We unlocked the door with OUR key card that was just given to us and it was someone else’s room. Quite literally walked in to someone else’s room at 10:30 at night. I felt terrible and embarrassed! They were quick to get us a different room but still that is awful that we got a room and a room key to a room with people in it!

Mainstay Suites was surrounded by dining options and shopping within walking distance. There were a few things we didn't like: no shampoo or conditioner in the showers( even asked for them), bed felt like it was made of springs not tempur pedic, and issues with key cards getting into our room.
