Great stay! Highly recommend the gold experience. Food was delicious and everyone was so friendly. Will be back soon. Only thing that was not great is that the gold rooms that were available had no view at all. Just a wall of pine trees outside the window.

The hotel was great and the staff on the gold floor did their very best. We have rarely stayed in such a beautiful room. However....prior to our stay I was assured by email that my dairy intollerance would not be a problem for the kichen in the gold room lounge as there would always be dairy free options "held back" and all I had to do was to make my presence known to staff. I was also told that there were often dairy free options in the main selection anyway. Unfortunately I found this to be misleading and very disappointing. The waiting staff were great at trying to satisfy my needs, but you should know that there wasn't the choice that I was hoping for and that an "alternative / held back" sandwich took 40 minutes to make and a dairy free muffin on a separate occasion that had similarly been held back, had clearly been heated from frozen in the microwave as it was rock hard and inedible. So frustrating as guests of the gold room who had no dietary restrictions had many beautiful treats to look forward to every day. My wife felt too guilty to enjoy what was on offer because of my extremely limited choice an often empty plate

Our family try to stay at the Gold room atleast once a year due to its convenience. I would say that the quality of the food have gone down compared to before. Not sure if it's worth staying here anymore for the price.

We stayed in the Gold section which has concierge lounge that is outstanding. The remainder of the hotel property was exceptionally crowded to the point that there were no dining options on site the entire week we were there. Considering the price paid and that there were very few walkable off site options we did not feel this venue was a good value at all.

Service went down but price went much higher. I got a garbage can on the top of my sink counter in the bathroom. I guess they are running shortage of labour. We went here almost every other year. The room now is almost $1500 per night for 2 people can't believe the service is not as good as before.

Property very nice. Negotiating to upgrade to a better room witch very very difficult,The 11th floor gold room 1141 i wanted and was willing to pay the difference they still didn't want to comply, even though it was still available and wanted to charge me $800 plus more because it was a joining witch was across the hallway ? after a long debate the manager finally agreed to let me have the one room instead of two for $350 per night extra. If i the customer didn't persist it wouldn't have happened. Anyways just a long hassle that didn't need to happen and could have been resolved in 2 minutes 🤔 thankyou Mike 👍

The Wildflower Restaurant has delicious food. Staff was lovely. The music was so beautiful out back with the red bean bag chairs. Convenience to everything like shops, whistler village and gondola. I liked that is was away from the business of the village. Spa was a little boring, feel like it could have better decor, small rooms for the RMT’s as well. Massage was great tho! Loved that you could have pets stay and the Fairmont Gold rooms were amazing! Pool and health club was nice as well. This was definitely a wonderful experience, just wish the spa had a little more ambiance! 4 our 5 STARS ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The gold experience was excellent. I even scored a room upgrade because of my Expedia rewards status. The food in the gold lounge was amazing. The desert and breakfast courses are a memory that will stay with me for years to come. The service was also outstanding. After previous stay, booked the gold experience /Luxury room: separate 8th floor check-in was welcoming and professional, staff all well trained and friendly; room was not on our favorite side of the building but no alternate options were available.The lounge is well designed, well managed: staff -Ai, Ian , Hope, Finn etc… always great attitude, and social skills; food and drinks selection well thought out (albeit abusive price of alcoholic drinks even by global 5 stars standards) a real mixologist/bar tender at night would bring more vibe and justify premium. 2 only misses on the Gold experience are: enforcement of a dress code and social etiquette that –beyond a basic social skills for any well-raised affluent adult- is written on a flyer somewhere but not respected by some guests: despite pointing out specific examples (people in robes or talking loud in their cell in the middle of tables…) staff never seemed to enforce, hence leaving all rest of well mannered guests inconvenienced by a few slobs: not right nor fair. Another wrong note is people checking in bringing their luggage to the front desk and cluttering reception / lounge entrance. not a great look. Apart from Gold, hotel is ok although clearly catering to a more value crowd with junior staff and lotsa families or convention groups, noisy and ill mannered. Lastly, hotel GM never to be seen on the grounds which would help his Leadership and chance to receive direct experience feed back from valued guests...:)

This was our first experience with Fairmont Gold and it will most certainly not be our last! The rooms were beautifully appointed, the common spaces elegant and comfortable. Most importantly, whomever is handling their hiring and training needs a raise: without exception, the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. First rate through and through.
