It was amazing the room was very clean and absolutely adorable. Definitely a great place for couples to go for the night to relax in hot tub in room with your significant other. The beds are extremely comfortable the staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. well definitely be staying here every time we go to Chicago from now on highly recommend

Well, I’m not really sure where to begin and should have read the reviews before staying.
Started off needing to give a deposit to get a key and a remote control. While walking to our room, a lady of the night passed us and was in the room next door. Ok. No big deal.
Started to read a few of the reviews for this fine establishment, as we thought we were getting a whirlpool room and was shocked we did not. Seems others were shocked as well. We also learned this fine establishment has a reputation of being a pay by the hour, if you catch my drift! Hence the lady next door. There was also free porn on the television. Yikes!
As we were turning in for the night, our entertainment really ramped up! The police were banging on the door next door, asking the folks to leave. They were advised they would break the window and send the dogs in. Jolly good show! The police finally left and we were a bit disappointed to say the least.
I’d give this place a 3 out of 10 for the following reasons. 1- we didn’t die. 1- good entertainment. 1- hot water.

Room was serviceable, not gross but in no way extravagant. Bed was fine, TV was very unreliable, shower was very weak, and the tub looked nothing like the pictures on the app. Half the outlets didn't work and there were multiple cigarette burns on the sheets and chairs. Wouldn't say I was disappointed, got what I paid for! 👍

The staff was wonderful. Got a king room with jacuzzi. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Area was quiet with plenty of restuarants and shopping nearby. Close to downtown Chicago. Will definitely recommend! Will be back!

Check-in was fast and easy. Whirlpool was amazing. I went in there and the water was at good temperature. Bed was hard and comfy. Pillows were also comfortable! I had a good stay.

Ehhh, I guess I only read the GOOD reviews. No jacuzzi tub in our room, bed was NOT good, pretty average & ok for the price. Better have CASH for the tv remote & room key! QUARTERS & a container, if you want ice. I really thought I booked a jacuzzi room, but after all of the above, I wonder if I’d have to have fed dollar bills into the jacuzzi?!!

My experience at this property was a bit unique. The staff here were more than helpful and accommodated all of my needs. There were a few things worth noting. The property requires your deposit for incidentals be in cash. Nowhere on their hotel page nor during the booking process does it mention being strictly cash. The room was OK but no closet or storage area for clothing or luggage. Had the room been economy I wouldn't have minded it but this was supposed to be the king whirlpool suite. The bed linens were very thin and not the best quality. I would suggest bringing your own blanket if you prefer sleepng in warmth. Although I had requested a non-smoking room there was a stagnant smoke odor in the area. Maybe it wasn't in that specific room but the smell was all over my clothes and the items in my suitcase after making it home. The best amenity by far is the whirlpool. Experiencing that made the other issues disappear. If you plan to stay here I would strongly recommend booking a room with a whirlpool.

Front desk acted like they didn’t really care whenever I returned to my room my wouldn’t work had to go front desk every time to get key reauthorized housekeeping was very good

We came into the city for a 3 night event at the United Center. Easy check in and out process. Room was pretty clean and mostly quiet. Could update carpets. We were comfortable. Would have enjoyed a little extra lighting and outlets. Jacuzzi tub worked great! We had an emergency and the front desk was there to help within 20 minutes. We will be back!

Use a car to get to this place as it is pretty far away from rapid transit. I chose it because of the proximity to the Brookfield Zoo - great place!
The biggest turn off was the difficulty I had with my check in. The only way I could key in my credit card pin number was to either contort my hand through the slot at the bottom of their security glass - which was impossible - or give my pin number to the clerk to enter the digits into the key pad - or pay cash. How hard can it be to deepen the opening on the counter so that the credit card machine can be passed through for the customer to enter their credit card information. Ridiculous!
But that's not all. I tightened the screws of the toilet seat in the room as it was sliding back and forth. I also went and bought new batteries for the television remote as it wasn't working. Turned out that the remote had an issue.
I chose to use the shower instead of the whirlpool in the room.

Property is not kept clean, nothing in place for a hotel. No microwave or even to give you just hot water. The staff don't make any effort to meet the need of the customer. First room I was checked in had a leaking roof. The rooms smell dusky and carpet is dirty. Will not come back.

Didn't know they require $100 cash (only cash) upon check in (own fault didn't take time to read the small print), but they had an ATM right in the lobby. At check-out, they inspect the room and if everything looks good, nothing damaged, you get your $100 cash back (cash, actual green bills!).

The hotel and room was very nice. Checking in was terrible!! I reserved a room thinking it was a whirlpool suite. I was trying to cancel but the cancel button would not work. Finally after trying to get a hold of anyone at customer service to switch to another room. I just got another room on my own. Getting charged double now. Help me. Wendy

The dates that were reserved were the wrong dates, they had a bad attitude, ii paid for a room i didn’t even stay in and i asked if i could reschedule and get a different night, she said there was nothing she could do to help me even though it was a mistake, she didn’t even try to find a solution, and was really rude

After one terrible year that culminated in an even more terrible month I just really needed to get into a hot tub to relax. Luckly, I found this gem close to home. Sure, the remote control for the TV didn't work well, but overall the place was safe and clean, and I have no complaints other than the fact that when I went to check in the person behind the counter tried demanding $100 in cash from me for a security deposit. THAT was never mentioned on hotels.com. I told her she has my credit card number and that she should use that. Like I'm going to cough up $100 cash for that. Absolutely not.

Staff was nice and I was able to check in early for a few. Didn’t know ahead of time that the deposit was cash only so they held my license during my stay (which meant I had to drive around the Chicago area without a license and I couldn’t drink at the festival I went to). The deposit was also more than the room cost. Room was decent and clean.

The staff was very friendly, and the room I actually got was clean, and they cleaned it well every day. The neighborhood is fine and has a lot of options for eating out plus a supermarket nearby. You are only about 12 miles from downtown, which can be a quick or long drive depending on time of day.
The weird stuff: when I first checked in, I was given a (non-smoking) room. I went in it. The carpet was torn and the room reeked of marijuana smoke. I asked for another, and was given one by the front desk staff, who was really helpful. In addition to the usual basic cable channels, there were two channels that ran porn. I was told that, because of that, no children are allowed at the hotel (it came up because I asked for a room not adjacent to children because I'm a light sleeper). There was as sign at the front desk advertising soft drinks you could buy, as well as condoms and lubricant. There was also a sign about not allowing unregistered guests into rooms. I guess you could call the place "sex-positive."
