I read the bad reviews and was sceptical- but was a lovely stay from start to end!

Loved staying at the Hotel Juliana for the second time. The rooms are beautiful and bespoke and the service is excellent. Lovely breakfast and nicely appointed surroundings.

Lovely stunning hotel. Had some issues which were resolved.
Staff are lovely

Great stuff! Convenient location, interesting design. Sauna and swimming pool are beneficial after the long walks around the city. Feeling that you are just the only guests in the hotel-the beauty of a small hotel! Cosy atmosphere in general! Really appreciate that!

Luxurious and lovely. Pool and sauna were a special plus. So glad we stayed at the Juliana.

Gregory was great at conceirge, never a problem and always quick and effecient. Breakfast was good, all you would need for breakfast, bed clean and comfortable and intriguing collection throughout the hotel.
Would recommend to anyone wishes to stay in a five star hotel on the centre of Brussels!

The property is fantastic very well thought and designed and absolutely beautiful. Bathrooms were great and house keeping service and everyone was courteous with the exception of one rude and young female receptionist whose behaviour was somewhat shocking for a 5 star hotel.
One thing that could have been better: the restaurant is beautiful but the food was delivered strangely. The main came first and 15 minutes later came the salad followed by the pasta 8 minutes later. Food was very good. Caesar salad dressing was a little too much. The pasta with anchovies did not taste good and was way too salty and the pasta looked and felt and tasted like noodles. The main fish was great.
One terrible experience: the young female receptionist who handled our check-in on Saturday 9-Dec at 12 noon. She was also around when we checked out on Sunday 10-Dec at 12 noon. We had prepaid for the trip through hotels.com back on the 19-Nov and got an email receipt. It also appeared on my American Express credit card statement. For some weird reason she said the payment did not show on their system and even went to say that the payment was declined several times which never happened (strange). I showed her the email confirmation and payment on my credit card statement and she went on to ask me to pay for the room rate and security deposit. The senior male receptionist interjected and said it’s fine they will sort it out with hotels.com but she contradicted him and went on to give a lecture that

Really good hotel

the hotel is perfect but they don't serve a welcoming gift like a fruit, or pastries like other 5 star hotel, they said its for suites and when you back again! , there is no basket trash in the my roo9, there is small one in bathroom, no small table between the couchs.and the hotel location, it's 7 menutes from the grand palace, but there is shopping street right down the hotel. the hotel employee are the best, this hotel is small luxury hotel, I love it, it's comfortable

Nice property. Very quiet area not in the center. Not crowded and not noise. Close to everything, very convenient. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
I didn’t like the fact that was a lot of bags and trays outside the rooms it was all over the hallway, it look kind of dirty.
Everything else was ok.

Overall the hotel is great. Room service is limited. The shower head needed maintenance bc it was severely clogged causing the ones that actually work to spray sideways. Hotel staff are wonderful and very helpful and nice.

Beautiful Boutique hotel with spectacular interior design. Great staff.

The Juliana is among the very best hotels anywhere. Every single detail has attention paid to it. The hotel is immaculate and the service is impeccable. Top end through and through.

Staff has difficulty performing simple tasks. One of the front desk staff couldn’t locate the hotel on a city map. A simple room service breakfast order wasn’t filled properly. On three occasions we came back to the hotel from outside to find no one at the front desk.

We loved the character of the hotel and its perfect location. Great service. We will be back.

I really liked staying at the Juliana Hotel Brussels. It was quiet and very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful as well.

This hotel is terrible---don't let the reviews fool you. It is located in a somewhat dangerous, very isolated, and graffiti-filled part of the city where one taxi driver noted "he had never once taken anyone" in his many years of driving.
Furthermore, the hotel failed to follow through on its commitment to assign a room that would accommodate three people, as promised several days before check-in by the front desk staff. When we arrived, we were told no rooms that could accommodate a third person was available and needed to stay elsewhere.
We then were promised a refund, but the hotel management subsequently reneged on this commitment as well and offered only a free night should we choose to return to the hotel again in the future (I'm not sure why we would).
Having stayed at hotels of this caliber all over the world, I've never had such a bad experience from a supposed "five star" property. As an aside, I'm also not even sure how they received that designation. They literally had two people working---a bellman/front desk agent and a member of housekeeping on a Tuesday night at 7pm---and not one supervisor or member of management. It really felt more like a low-frills "express" property rather than a full service hotel of the caliber advertised.
Really a terrible choice. Stay away and book something closer to the restaurants and life of the city---ultimately where we ended up staying. This hotel is a joke.

So the rooms are beautiful but too dark and a bit tight for two people.
but lovely just the same.

Everything was impressive. Beautiful hotel in a great location with maybe the best staff and service I’ve ever experienced. My standards are high and this hotel delivered even more than I wished for. Great job

This hotel was fabulous, easily the nicest accommodations we enjoyed on our recent trip, and we stayed in nice hotels on all of our stops. Juliana Hotel is a true boutique hotel, with lavishly appointed common spaces and rooms. The spa facilities were excellent, with a good-sized indoor pool, exercise machines, as well as a sauna and a hamam. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant included both a buffet option as well as a la carte options. There was also a lush veranda situated inside the hotel, though we admittedly did not take advantage of it during our stay.
Hotel staff were helpful and attentive, and able to provide recommendations on where to eat and what to see while in Brussels, and when necessary, make reservations for us as well.
As for location, the hotel is located in a quiet historical square just to the north of the bustling historical center of town, which is full of boutiques, chocolatiers, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. So you enjoy a peaceful area to relax while at the hotel, and can still walk to Grande Place in less than 10 minutes.
Room was very nicely appointed. Large, with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom/shower. Everything looks to have been recently updated.
Overall, this was an excellent hotel and one I could easily recommend if you plan to visit Brussels. The hotel itself plus the near perfect location make this an easy recommendation.

Great property with a lot of potential. need to clean up vicinity around hotel. Covered mall breezeway to the right out the front door smelled like urine and gross. Several things in room weren't working. Biggest problem was front desk was supposed to call taxi for ride to train and the taxi never came even after 35 minutes. Nearly missed train. Front desk seemed impotent to correct the problem.

Absolutely first class all the way. The hotel is newish and everything is shiny and clean and state of the art. The people are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and good sized. This is my new go to in Brussels

Hotel gorgeous but lacked some 5 star elements. Porter and lady on desk amazing but had a bad experience with a night porter (at 9pm) who explained he was too busy to get us any tea bags, not good service for a 5 star hotel and we wouldn't come back partly based on this.

Exquisite building in a beautiful square - just a little off from the main streets. Luxuirous hotel with amazing facilites. Maybe just a little too quite. No people in the bar.

Stunning hotel and the staff are the best I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. I stayed in room 210 over looking the square and the attention to details was out of this world. The concierge was 5 star as well. Couldn’t recommend a hotel more.

This entire property was top notch! I recently spent a week there and although I consider myself a relatively low maintenance guest I was thoroughly impressed with their level of detail. From the new bottle of water at my bedside every evening to the fact on the 2nd day they realized where I kept my washcloth and from that point on that is where they put my fresh one each day. It may seem silly but it is the little things like that that sets this place apart! Definitely recommend!
