Always wanted to stay here from the first time I saw it years ago. Perfect location, beautiful building. Love the old building. As a solo traveler however, my room was very small and the single bed was extremely narrow. Would recommend upsizing if you want a better night’s sleep. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Loved that parking was available; even though it was not onsite, it was close enough and covered.

This hotel was great. Friendly staff, perfect location. The only challenge we had was finding the hotel parking since some of the side roads were closed due to the markets. The dinner was grest as well. Definitely stay here!

Wonderful period hotel in a great location.
Spacious grand rooms... bathroom and some of the furniture a little dated but still a fabulous place and good value

My husband and I had a great stay. It was a beautiful hotel and very centric. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Not sure if it was just just our room but bed was rather noisy and uncomfortable.

Very comfortable boutique hotel in 500 year old building in the city centre. Very romantic old hotel with old world charm and service.

Great location and a very helpful staff. Our room was a small suite with 2 bathrooms at a great price. The rooms were dated but it was a lovely place to stay in the middle of Germany.

This was our second time at Hotel Eisenhut. Our room was quaint, clean, nice sized, and we received candy and bottled water. We love the proximity of this hotel to the old town and the view from our window. The front desk staff printed train tickets and were very friendly with smiling faces. Check in/out was super fast.
The only negative thing was that our bathroom had no shower curtain or anything to prevent water from going on the floor. We managed to wipe up the floor, and took gentle showers.

Such a cute town and I think we picked the best hotel...old but very modern design and a beautiful view. Loved the restaurant and bar and everything about it! A great pick!!

I always heard horror stories about how small and antiquated European hotels can be. I expected a hotel in such an old building to be like that, but the rooms were quite large and had modern amenities with old time charm. All the staff were friendly and helpful. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

The hotel was very quaint. Service was really good. It was a shame that they didnt serve people out front, but its a minor thing.

This hotel is well located. The building is old and historic, yet the rooms are modern, spacious and clean. We loved our stay here.

Location is excellent. Very nice, clean and charming. Rooms could use a bit of an update. But overall excellent.

We love this hotel! We stayed here 6 years ago and were so glad to come back! The room and bathroom were beautiful, spacious and clean. One suggestion would be that the employees not be allowed to smoke below guest windows in the alley at night. With no air conditioning we had to keep our windows open and the smoke wafted right through. (For non-smokers that is just awful.)

Amazing property and loved rothenburg we had an amazing time.

We had a great stay! We had two rooms booked, and they were both two room suites with two bathrooms!! Breakfast was terrific with lots of options. The location of the hotel can’t be beat! I emailed the hotel in advance to reserve a parking spot which they did. It’s about a five minute walk away. Easy to drop off bags then park. They give you a picture map to make it easy to find. We were driving an “estate” station wagon and it just barely fit in the available spot. Driving in Rothenburg is a little daunting, but we did well using google maps. You just need to be mindful of the wandering tourists lol!

Amazing place to stay in Rothenburg o d T.! Everything about this hotel is 5 stars, location, service, place itself, very friendly staff. The breakfast was great 😊 ! We will be surely booking the same hotel for our next visit to Rothenburg!

Breakfast was excellent and in a beautful large room but pricey at 17 Euro. Hotel is beautiful and the location is great- in the middle of the old city. The reason for one less star is: parking is difficult but that's the price paid for the great location. Metered spots near the hotel mean returning to the car every two hours- free 8 am to 8 pm but hard to get a spot. We parked outside the city walls for 6 Euro a day but it was a ten minute walk.
Our room did not have a view of the town which had been requested but the staff blamed it on their reservations group.

18th-century luxury in the 21st century.
1. The place is located in a great location
2. The room is large and has a bathtub
3. - The pillows are terrible
4. - There is no facility parking even though the listing says there is. You can park on the street (pay every 2 hours) or park outside the city for 6 Euro per day (about 10min walk)
5 - Our room *did not* have airconditioning. When we were there it was 75f outside but 90f was coming. Had we been there in 90f it would have been miserable.
6. The staff was friendly and gave us ice when we asked for it.
Overall, I rate the place a 7-8,

Ivenever received a receptionist as nasty as this woman. Even though I prepaid 2 nights I left one night early. I felt unwelcome. She was rude and condescending.
Dinner servers were great. All from Indonesia.
Hotel is charming but when the main person you are dealing with is so rude you just want to leave. Which I did.

Location was great, unfortunately we were placed in the annex building across the street from the main hotel. The rooms are very old and hot during summer, a single floor stand fan is not adequate. If traveling by car I recommend you book onsite parking in advance, it is limited and public parking can be a nuisance. Insure main hotel if you want updated accommodations. We did not eat at the on site restaurant.

Nice and cozy small hotel. Very friendly staff and well located. For my particular preference, mattress was way too soft.

The hotel itself was very nice and in a great location, I had a great time for the night I was there! The staff is also very friendly and helpful, I left one of my belongings there and was able to quickly and easily work out a solution to get it back. I would definitely come back!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Friendly helpful staff, wonderful outdoor patio for dining, full breakfast. Room was large, comfortable with plenty of storage. We had a fantastic long view on our private patio.

Room was very spacious and well furnished. We realize this is a very old building & therefore there was no air conditioning but perhaps a fan in the room may be helpful on the very hot days & nights.
