A lovely room right on the top floor (there is an elevator) The balcony was a tiny square concrete area with a 6 foot wall, so not great for relaxing of an evening

Well located, near bars and restaurants. Beautiful area to stay in. The hotel is modern, the room is comfortable and nicely decorated. It was ideal for us.
The only negatives are that only paper/plastic cups are provided, no wine glasses or opener. Also only two coffee pods each day (we normally start our day with two coffees each). Despite those few mentions, we would definitely stay at the Bergamo Inn 21 again.

Great spot right near the town square.
The only quibble I had was that the instructions and codes for the rooms were sent in Italian. Would be better if an english version was attached.

Room is very modern in the middle of citta bassa Bergamo. It is about 10min walk to public transport that takes you into old town. Check in worked well digitally, as there is no staff on site. Parking is public parking for the city so you need to walk from the one you choose to the Inn.

Couldn't be in a better spot to tour both the Alta and Bassa, beautiful location, we arrived on Saturday and although the area was super busy with people having a good time, when we got into the room and shut the windows it was really quiet! Room was lovely, nespresso was a bonus too! Few minutes was from all the shops, restaurants and cafe’s are a stones throw away.

lovely property - 10 mins from the main train station. right in the heart of shopping area and restaurants, bars etc.

There is no air conditioning!! The ad says there is but there is not. No amenities but a shower cap, body lotion & body wash once we asked that it be refilled. While the bed was comfortable & espresso machine nice, the room was uninhabitable. It was 78-80 in Bergamo and the room probably hotter. There is a fridge so you can go to a market to buy fruit or yogurt for breakfast & there is a cafe downstairs. Add a fan at least!!!!!

Nice hotel. Easy self check in.

Lovely modern hotel room with easy access using a code. The hotel is centrally located, and easy to find. The room was very quiet when the window was shut. Our air conditioning wouldn’t work with cold air and the room was very hot because the heating wouldn’t stay off, this meant we had to open the window and it was quite noisy with people closing doors and talking etc. overall very nice place and would stay again.

The hotel is in a great location with lots of bars and restaurants close by. Cafès abound and the bakery next door was excellent for breakfast. It is a short walk to the funicular for the Citta Alta. Access is easy by use of the PIN sent to us in advance of our stay. There was a staff member on duty when we arrived but no one was available in the morning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Comfortable bed, good shower and quiet room.

Room was big and new. I did not like that that it was not clear I still owed $5 of city tax before they could provide me the key code. I was standing outside the door at 11pm trying to find the code on the registration page but it was not written anywhere that the tax was still missing. I had to call twice before I got to speak to someone to understand the issue. Then I had to fill out all of my credit card info, standing in the cold. Finally I got the key code. Arrived to find a brand new room which was nice. But the floor was cold and there were no slippers provided.

I usually stay in big hotel chain hotels however needing a quick stop over in Bergamo sought a local, cheap option. This was a great suite, great location, only 15 mins from Airport in the centre of Bergamo. Greeted by the most amazing ceiling. Well worth the stay and awesome value for money. So cheap for what you get.

Don't bother. They take your money and the Hotel management then don't care about you. Please read.
Arrived 4th Oct 2023 14:30. The air con didn't work making the room hardly bareble to be in. I went to the receptionist and she was aware of it and that a service agent had been called.
Early evening as we went out we saw another girl and she had no news regarding the service agent. I asked her if she had a fan for the room and she said no.
21:50 - I phoned the receptionist (Brenda) asking her to get someone from management to contact me urgently as we wanted to move out. I also sent an eMail to the Bergamo contact address stating the same.
Barely slept the room was stifling. Opening the windows helped a tiny bit, but the noise from outside then disturbed us
5th Oct - On leaving in the morning we saw the first girl we saw the previous day and asked if we could have a fan for the room, she said yes and immediately got one for us. Later even with the fan on it was 29°C in the room.
6th Oct - Terrible nights sleep. Tried to contact Expedia and the Virtual Agent couldn't help !!! Pointless.
7th Oct - As we left I asked the girl when the air-con first start not working and on what date they contacted the service agent, at this point her English got pretty bad and tried to explain in Italian, which we did not understand.
The hotel management, don't care. They did not respond to my eMail to them on the 4th Oct, nor did they respond to Brenda's request to contact me

Great location, a fantastic design, and top quality of finishes. A really great place to stay. Since I got it on Hotels.com I thought it would be a hotel, but it is sort of a hotel room in a nice apartment building. They give you the instructions for how to get in, but you have to enter some codes into multiple electronic devices and it's late at night and you are stressed out that if one of these devices doesn't work, you'll need to get a hotel room nearby instead. Particularly quirky was the door to the actual room: there was an iPad-like device mounted on the wall by the door and when you put your code in it would say "the door is open", but it was not! Then it turned out that the actual door lock had a code device and it worked. But a lot of stress. Also, they marketed as "parking available" and then in the email they mentioned several parking lots by street name but no actual addresses! So now you have to sit with Google Maps and try finding the closest parking and we ended up parking much further out than necessary. We emailed them about the parking lot address 3-4 hrs earlier and never heard back.

The main disturbance of the stay was a fire alarm that went off in all rooms in the whole hotel at midnight. All guests went outside and were desperately trying to contact anyone from the hotel for a couple of hours, but it was unreachable until the morning. Guests called police and fire department which arrived and tried for a couple of hours to silence the alarm. They succeeded shortly before 2AM, until which time no one could go inside, let alone sleep.
Police said that this is not the first time that fire alarm goes off in this hotel and the hotel is not reachable by phone.
Aside from the great disturbance that this fire alarm caused, it is outrageous to think that the hotel would not be reached even in case of a real emergency for 12 hours per day.
Moreover, hotel promised a tiny refund in exchange of silence!!
This comes in addition to an awful checkin experience - I have not received the promised email with the access code until I contacted hotels com support right before my airplane to Bergamo. Since I was arriving after 11PM and the hotel is not reachable at night, I hate to think that I might have been left in front of the hotel without checkin instructions that night. Another hotel guest also confirmed to me that he also hadn’t got the code before he contacted support right before his arrival.
Given the above, the broken lift, the loose door knob in the room all seem to be minor issues.
This hotel is deeply unprofessional and should be avoided at all cost.

Luxurious accommodation with comfortable bed & excellent ensuite facilities. Location perfect, beside several restaurants & bars although you would never know as the sound proofing is fantastic. Plenty of shopping options within walking dustance & easy access to the old town. All within 15 mins of the airport.

Big comfortable family room and clean every day. Very good location. Friendly and customer oriented staff.

Location is superb and there is a great wine/coffee bar right under the hotel. It is on a small piazza and lots of locals frequent the various shops and cafes.
The building is old and boutique and wonderfully refurbished. Our room 404 was beautiful with a very comfortable super king bed with lovely sheets and pillows. The walk-in shower room was spacious. The “balcony” was only a one square meter space outside glass door with a head-high wall - you could see the old town if you stood on tiptoes - not really a balcony but that didn’t matter. The air conditioning worked well and the large tv had lots of channels.
The hotel has four rooms on each floor around a central atrium stretching right up through the building. Check-in is unique as they send an email form which (when completed) triggers a key code for the electronic pad to open the hotel and bedroom doors. There is no staff in the hotel and only WhatsApp messaging to contact a virtual reception.
The old town is a 30 minute walk up hill or you can take the bus and/or funicular- we did all of the above. The old walled town is one of the finest in northern Italy.
We would happily stay here again.

The place is amazing! Newly renowated, clean and in good location. Well sized bedroom fits a family of 4. Will be definitely coming back here.

Amazing rooms. A very convenient entry with the access codes. The location is perfect for walking and dining. The only problem is the parking, it is a public one and it’s about five minutes walk. The street does not allow any traffic, so you have to carry your suitcases. apart from the inconvenient parking, everything else is perfect. Nespresso coffee machine and courtesy Perrier water makes that property five star :).

The property is in a great location but there is no desk or help before 3 pm. They did send email instructions for check in but where not able to be contacted beyond that.

Amazing hotel! In the heart of Bergamo, with lots of lively restaurants and night life but still quiet rooms.
The hotel was gorgeous and the rooms were very spacious and PERFECT for our family. Beds were amazing and the overall vibe and experience was excellent! We will be planning our future travel through Bergamo just to stay at this hotel!

Excellent location, and great little boutique hotel which we would use again. Room was great and Bergamo is a great location to use as a base.
Please be mindful this hotel has no facilities and you need to check-in via a browser to get room keys etc. but great little bar and coffee shop next door.

A good concept, little to fawlt in room and bathroom. Needs somewhere to lounge when you have to wait. The girls on reception are sitting in freezing conditions. Shame on managment. Position is excellent with everything easy to walk. There is a huge shortage of taxies, although the receptionist will book one, but how do you get back? A better sign outside is needed we stood across from it and could not find it.

What l liked about the property was that it felt like going into the past with it's beautiful stone. However everything was so modern. Staff are extremely helpful and it is so clean. Very close to shops and cafe's. I would definitely recommend staying. It's just your room your getting but a lovely experience.

Getting a deluxe double room for 2 got us two separate rooms next to each other with cute little balconies overlooking the downtown of Bergamo. There is a coffee shop next door to the right with the most amazing pastries! Convenient location to walk around downtown. The rooms were comfortable & clean with new everything. The espresso machine in the room was great!! Loved that addition!

This hotel is amazing and we rank it 10/10. The rooms and venue itself is stunning and right in the centre.
