Value for money, near Mercado San Pedro and 8 minutes walk from Plaza Mayor. Nice rooms, polite staff. Breakfast needs improvement
10.0 / 10.0
The place was exactly what I had hoped it to be, affordable while providing a safe, cozy corner to stay at. Easy access to the historic town was a major plus point, neighborhood was neat and clean, staff was friendly, courteous, helpful and responsive to needs. I would stay there again without skipping a beat.

I was given the wrong room and told there was nothing they could do. No refund, no compensation of any kind.

We very much liked this hotel due to the excellent condition of the rooms. The staff was very helpful to us, as well. The breakfast was good too.

The staff was amazing!!!! Rooms had no windows but it felt safe and clean! Staff was so helpful place was super cute! About a 10 min walk to the main plaza but a 5 min walk to San Pedro train station which we had to be there at 6 am. Would recommend and use again

Great service and very friendly

The property is an old villa converted into a nice boutique hotel. Rooms are well provided with good bathrooms. The restaurant setting is also beautiful.
Only negative is that they don’t provide any drinking water with the room.

Beautiful motel with wonderful staff. The breakfast was a big hit with my family. Downside is that it is not close to the historical area as I was told and it is a long steep hike back to the hotel from the square. The streets are very narrow and lots of traffic so hold on to little ones. The entire town is dirty and noisy so you can't escape that but I would definitely recommend this property for your stay.

Beautiful hotel and walking distance from the market and plaza.
Had dinner there twice, once was very good, the other not. Obviously stick with ordering local food.
No A/C, which wasn’t an issue as we visited in winter, but something to keep in mind. The way the hotel is laid out, the noise from the restaurant can be a bit much if you leave your room window open. We also felt beds were a bit stiff, and pillows offered little to no support, but that’s more of a personal preference.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall we were happy with our stay.

We received a 5-star like customer service. Best hotel staff I’ve ever met and encountered. Everyone was genuinely polite, friendly and helpful. The location is a bonus. When I go to visit Cusco again, no second thoughts, I will stay at Hotel Hacienda again.

Very noisy (can hear outside noises very easily, especially in the morning, you’d hear the breakfast area noises).
Air flow isn’t good. The room is lack of fresh air even though the window is open and traps moisture in it.

Perfect location

The hotel was a large private residence before. The beautiful pictures are accurate. It’s a neat courtyard with a large sky light. The rooms are large. No a/c bc it’s cool in Cusco, but no fan either. The coffee was good, very strong, Peruvian style. In a casual conversation with the restaurant manager (forgot his name, 😬), I had mentioned that there was no trash receptacle other than in the bathroom and was surprised that he had asked someone to deliver one. I had mentioned that there isn’t too much in the immediate vicinity…true, but for the extra 2 blocks, one gets a good price for a large room.

Culturally inspired and very hospitable staff.

If you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t stay at this hotel. The hotel is fairly noisy due to people taking excursions across the day/night and due to the design of the hotel resulting in echoes. The rooms were very clean and the staff helpful with breakfast a decent standard.

Bedding was too small for the king size bed. Other than this minor issue, great location and facility.

The loudest and noisiest hotel. I would never stay there again.

Cute little boutique hotel located about 7 -10 mins walk from Plaza. Staff was lovely esp the bellmen/ doormen, very polite and hospitable. Lovely breakfast spread in the morning, good variety and it was affordable with an extra charge for double occupancy. However it was so NOISY!!! I could hear all the conversations, alarms going off early for people with tours, doors slamming 3, 4, 5am in the mornings, dinner service from 7pm - 10:30pm was torture every night because i could hear the conversations, cutlery on plates, dinner carts, blender for juices, it was awful. Meant that i couldn't sleep until the restaurant closed at nights. They need to soundproof the hotel

Please was ok and clean. But the noise from the kitchen. In the bedrooms was really bad. Also staff walking on hallways early in the morning talking through radios. Very bad.

The customer service at this property is top notch. The location is perfect. This hotel is VERY noisy! If you like quiet when you sleep, don't pick this one. The hotel is clean, but old. The breakfast is good, the dinner, not so much

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. The hotel provided us with a family suite that allowed our family to enjoy our time in Cusco. The location is 10 mins from main square and market which makes it very convenient. The staff was very helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable.

Beautiful architecture with very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Money and credit cards were left at the facility. They sent a taxi to the airport with the money and credit cards, and the police brought it to us. Manuel Aramayo, the product manager for the hotel happened to be on our flight and helped facilitate us receiving the credit cards and money. I would re ommend this hotel to all who want to visit Cusco.
