Doda hits ALL the marks✨ Friendly 24/7 concierge service and an incredible breakfast. We loved room 208! A unique space offering a bi-level room (upstairs bedroom and bathroom, downstairs sitting area with a mini fridge and tea kettle). You’ll have your own private patio overlooking the courtyard and the city of Ortahisar. After visiting Goreme and Uchisar we were very happy we chose Orthisar. It is quaint and peaceful in comparison to the busy, touristy vibe of the other two main stays AND you also avoid all of the steep hills here. Taxis are always available and cost ~400 Lira (~5 USD) for a day or night visit into Goreme or Uchisar. HIGHLY recommend!

Our stay at the Doda Hotel was highly disappointing. During our brief stay, my mom and I were attacked by bugs, and despite this severe issue, the hotel refused to refund us. From the moment we arrived, we were looking forward to a comfortable stay. However, it quickly became a nightmare when we discovered bugs in our room. We reported the problem to the hotel staff immediately, hoping for a quick resolution or at least a change of rooms. Unfortunately, their response was inadequate, and we continued to suffer from bug bites. To make matters worse, the hotel’s amenities were far from what was promised. The Wi-Fi was insufficient, making it impossible to stay connected. After enduring this for a few hours, we decided to check out almost immediately, not even managing to stay 12 hours. This unfortunate experience nearly ruined my mother’s birthday, which was supposed to be a special occasion. The hotel management’s lack of action was extremely frustrating. Not only did they fail to address the issue properly, but they also refused to provide any form of compensation or refund for the discomfort and distress we experienced. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially in a hospitality industry that prides itself on guest satisfaction. Our experience was far from satisfactory. The bugs, insufficient Wi-Fi, and the hotel’s refusal to refund us have left us with a lasting negative impression. Given our unfortunate experience, we would not recommend staying here.

This cave hotel was wonderful. I loved everything about it. The quiet location, the great decor & hotel atmosphere. The rooms & bathrooms are spacious & cozy. Would definitely stay here again & recommend it to anyone looking to stay at a cave hotel.

A fantastic hotel with a staff that pride’s itself to ensure its gusts are happy and well taken care of. The Doda Cave hotel is one of the best operated hotels I have stayed at. The room was very clean and the location of the hotel offers a fantastic view of the castle. Further, the morning breakfast was fresh, well prepared, and very delicious. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my return visit to Cappadocia!

Umut and the rest of the Doda team were so helpful and hospitable! They went above and beyond to make our visit so special. Beyond the beautiful hotel with comfortable and luxurious rooms, they offer a delicious traditional Turkish breakfast every morning. Highly recommend staying at Doda Cave Hotel when in Capadoccia.

It was a beautiful cave hotel but inconvenient a little bit. I couldn’t use the bath tube because of smell of water and dirts. The hotel was well decorated but not reasonable for paying the high cost for staying.

The room was huge and one of the most unique rooms i have been in. Breakfast provided even though we were late for it. The interior of the room was so apt to the theme of the locality. Will recommend this for everyone.

Lovely hotel with beautiful view. Wish would have stayed more. The staff and the manager were very friendly and helpful. The service was very good. We requested for a hot soup as it was cold at a very short notice as we had a flight to catch and they made it fresh for us. The rooms are very nice. The best part was the breakfast with the beautiful view. Would definitely go there again if I got a chance for a longer time now :)

A lovely boutique hotel, with only 8 rooms, a very friendly staff and a super helpful manager. Umut is the perfect host, all our trips and bookings were handled by him so we had the time of our life. Highly recommend the place.

Everything was great. The room, the bed and sheets, the bathroom, the decoration, the view, the vibe, THE LOCAL BREAKFAST!, the service and people. We had the most 3 relaxing days. Ortahisar is the perfect location, with its own historical centre but also near enough to walk or take a taxi from tourist-hungry, chaotic Goreme. I completely recommend Doda to couples! Dear Umut! Thanks for everything you did for us!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The atmosphere, attention to detail and views from the terrace are all amazing. The staff are incredibly helpful and nice - from booking taxis to information about the area. They made us breakfast to take on our journey to the airport for an early morning flight. The breakfast was delicious, best I have had in Turkey.

My experience was beyond expectations the hotel location was wired from out side but once you enter Doda Cave you feel like home Once I have arrived the hotel manager Umut welcomed me and my wife to the hotel offering bot drinks and he managed to arrange the best Cappadocia experience for us from the balloon tour to the horse riding to recommending booking and transporting us the locations.I would definitely recommend this to anyone also I would visit this place again.

In all my years of travelling , I can honestly say this has been one of the most beautiful properties and hotel staff I have ever experienced. I dont think there is a number that can do justice on this place. The vibe and how much they are invested in your experience is unbelieveble. They can organize every activity and find best price to their guest , helping for every option immediately. The balloons and horse back riding was awesome thank you guys and we got very good carpet. Thank you for bargaining Umut too. Thanks for everything Mr. Umut , Mrs Seda and Mr, Donald and all staff.
