The staff are the highlight of this beautiful hotel. They go above and beyond to makenyou feel welcome. It is conveniently located within walking distance of pretty much all of the major attractions. It is on a busy street but the noise is almost non-existant in the rooms. It has an amazing roof terrace with gorgeous landscaping.

It’s a nice and quiet little hotel that has an amazing view of the volcano from the terrace. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend if staying in Antigua.

Great little boutique hotel. You get what you pay for. Friendly staff, would stay here again. My only issue was the weird smell coming from the drains in the bathroom.

Very nice and clean facility and wonderful staff and good breakfast!

Nice, quiet (surprisingly for being on a heavy traffic road) hotel very close to town center. Very kind/friendly staff who were patient with my poor Spanish. Pleasant courtyard area and rooftop. Room wasn’t fancy, but pleasant and good for the price. I was fine with outer door being locked in the evening, the front desk person opened the door very quickly when I rang the bell after hours.

The hotel staff were very warm and welcoming. The shower pressure could have been better, but overall a wonderful hotel.

Great hotel in Antigua! One of the few with air conditioning which is essential in the May heat currently. Room was clean and exactly as advertised. Easy check in and check out. Parking was about a block away, so not truly on site, but it was free, which was great! Walkable to downtown.

Amazingly cozy and the location perfect to get around to all the local spots. Breakfast is delicious and made fresh every morning. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and well taken care of. Even with all the excitement of a weekend in Antigua, the hotel was still quiet and we never had any issues!
A perfectly quaint and lovely hotel.

Charming hotel with simple but adequate rooms with a cute terrace out front. A short walk from the centre of town, but nowhere is very far.

Nico was honestly such a gem in Antigua! Well-maintained with friendly staff, a gorgeous courtyard, and delicious breakfast; we had such a great stay.
The hotel also helped coordinate a driver (Edwin) to pick us up from La Aurora airport who was efficient, very communicative, and super helpful!
We arrived an hour in advance of our check-in time, but our room was already ready for us. We splurged on two queen beds for two people, but the cost per night still worked out to be much cheaper than other hotels in the area.
We would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend Nico to anyone visiting Antigua!

The staff were wonderful. The hotel is small compared to others, but clean, quiet, and I felt very safe around the area. Its a family hotel. I only wish the rooftop terrace was more organized and usable as it would be a beautiful area to chill during the day or at night.

All the staff were friendly and the breakfast was sufficient. The shower water was kind of slow and the hot water ran out quickly, so I had to manage my shower well. There was a strong cleaning agent smell in the bathroom that exacerbated my allergy. Overall, the place was good.

The hotel was just outside the city centre but an easy walk. The road was quite noisy during the day, but we loved the outside area to have breakfast. The included breakfast was great and the staff were friendly. We found the hotel a little noisy because the windows and doors are straight on to the patio, where staff and other guests were chatting.

Pros:
- nice and comfortable room
- very friendly staff
- gorgeous property
- walking distance to attractions
Cons:
- terrible wifi, even at public areas
- non existent hot water
- shower drain wasn't draining properly so it pools a little bit
- good breakfast but very small portion. Maybe charge more for better portions?
Would love to recommend this place, but the wifi situation is a deal breaker.

Great little hotel with a lovely courtyard. Clean, quiet and staff were so nice. Perfect location within Antigua. Breakfast is included. It’s not much but it’s something!!

Very happy with everything, room, hotel grounds, service by staff, but, I was disappointed with the breakfast. Where in other hotel on this trip I’ve been served eggs to order, pancakes, fruit and coffee as a whole breakfast, one here is only offered at best 2. It made breakfast light on and expensive.

Staff was very nice, a small breakfast area but adequate.
very simple but fine for a short stay. It was fun to walk to the market and the arch in Antigua

The main woman, Angelica, was super helpful and friendly.
The breakfasts were good and quick. We came back to Antigua after two weeks and went to Nico Hotel again.
Our rooms were very clean (if a little small). Our first time we had an upstairs room that led directly out to the rooftop balcony. That was really nice. The water got hot after a couple of minutes of waiting for it.

Mattress are hard and can feel spring. Says the people speak both English and Spanish. They only speak English. No elevator. Rooftop deck. Bathroom showers not clean. Given dirty hand towel.

Friendly staff, everyone was super helpful, we have a baby and they were warm and gave her so much attention. We will definitely come back.
