We played a show and came in late. The innkeeper Joy was incredibly communicative and got us in our room even though we checked in late. The room was beautiful, and we even explored the great history and architecture of the building.

The check-in was confusing, miscommunication. But the owner made it right and forever grateful for her. The bed and the sofa queen bed were very comfy. Bathroom was nice. The whole place was very cute and warm.

If you want to stay in the coolest Coraline-esque house on your getaway you have found it! I came to Trinidad to see Nick Shoulders at the Trinidad lounge on Halloween and booked this place last minute after looking at it for a few weeks in preparation for my trip. Not only was I able to get an awesome price for the value but the innkeeper Joy was exactly that, an absolute delight and joy. I stayed in the Trinidad suite, which is the entire top floor of the inn including a super cute private balcony. Obsessed with the clawfoot tub, living room area, weird little closets, etc. My stay here was probably my favorite trip I've ever booked myself, and I am absolutely planning on returning as soon as possible. 10/10 recommend this spot wholeheartedly!!

Lovely historic house. Comfortable bed and slept well with the portable a/c unit. Would stay here again.

A very charming inn with so much character. We had a wonderful stay and our inn keeper was delightful.

This is a wonderful historic bed and breakfast (not serving breakfast now). Everything was clean and orderly; amenities such as towels and soap were plentiful and very nice. As expected, an older property had some aged window coverings and furniture that has seen better days, but that’s what makes it fun. The library and sitting areas were all available to guests and very nice. The patio on the second floor roof was a delight evening and morning. Joy, the innkeeper, accommodated our early arrival and request for bottled water. She is a delight. We would definitely stay there again if visiting Trinidad.

I had a wonderful and relaxing stay! Joy is a great proprietor, and the inn is very comfortable. Walking distance to food, drink, and art. 10 minutes from great mountain biking and hiking. A wonderful place. Highly recommend.

This property is not as described. It is very old (historical) and has not been maintained. The room we booked was two rooms, the furniture was deteriorating, the "patio/porch" was accessible only from the hallway and the bathroom was also in the hallway. The A/C was not working. We were offered another room on the first floor - with A/C but bathroom still down the hall. Would have to get there through the lobby and there were no bathrobes available. There were no amenities - no breakfast. The owner was not sympathetic to our plight and while trying to coerce us to stay told us we were rude and impolite. Would not recommend this to my dog.

We family of 5 had an amazing stay at this unique and well-kept place. The historic building added so much character to our experience. Always happy to support local small businesses. The place was spotlessly clean, spacious, and quiet. The location was perfect—it's walkable to many attractions and very convenient. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable stay in a charming setting.

The Inn is an absolutely stunning historic home and Joy the manager is delightful. The Tarabino suite was large, well appointed and comfortable. An easy walk to the shops and museums on Main St. We would definitely stay here again!

Great, local spot

This was our first time staying anywhere that was not a hotel. The Tarabino is a beautiful home, built in 1907, and was a wonderful experience. The architecture is something that will never be built again and it was amazing to stay in it for a couple nights. The views from the porches are wonderful and sitting on the main porch, in the shade, with a little breeze was really nice on a warm July day.
5.0
Very cool architecture and a beautiful view on top of the hill & from the balconies! Also only a 2 minute walk from main Street. Portable A/C and standing fans so if you're sensitive to heat, brace yourself during the day. The place does get a nice breeze though so it's not too bad.
What shines the most though is the host, Joy - very accommodating, communicative, and helpful. Thank you so much for helping me find a way across town with my bags!!!
I couldn't ask for a better experience.

We were treated very kindly by owner and property manager.

This is not a bed and breakfast. It is an unmonitored old house that the owner is selling and has given up on maintaining. If you enjoy being uncomfortably warm at night or taking a shower while being hugged on all sides by incorrectly sized shower curtains, this is the place for you.

We loved this place. The bed was comfy, plenty of space, good location, good choices of morning snacks.
The drawback was the lack of good cooling. There was a portable cooling unit on wheels in the bedroom but even on the coolest setting it was difficult to sleep, it just didn't cool effectively and ended up being a sweaty night. The widows of this two room unit had limited screens, the small aftermarket ones that don't allow a fully open window.
I would have open all the windows wide at night to cool the room but worried I'd be letting in a ton of bugs.
Lastly, the shower curtain surrounding the clawfoot tub refused to stay hooked. I spent significant time rehooking it before & after my shower.
Regardless, this is a beautiful old victorian home and we'd stay again.

Beautiful old home and innkeeper Joy was very friendly and helpful.

Lots of stairs. Definitely not for the handicapped person. We arrived at night, not late, and there were no lights on the front porch at all. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but it was not but the manager gave us some packaged breakfast muffins to go that they had just received from Costco. Comfortable sleeping though.

Beautiful and friendly staff. The place is so perfectly preserved/restored while affording modern conveniences.

This is a beautiful old house with large charming rooms. Bed was comfortable. We booked one night enroute to California. The website indicated that a full breakfast was included, as did the welcome email I received after booking. Next morning we came downstairs looking for breakfast but there was none, and no innkeeper to be found. I contacted the innkeeper and was told that it is only offered June-December. If we would’ve known, we would have stayed elsewhere as we were out in the middle of nowhere and there was no place to eat before heading out early the next morning. Also, our toilet was clogged—we looked everywhere for a plunger but couldn’t find one. We contacted the innkeeper who came straight away to try and fix it but was unable to. We had to use a toilet in another room on the opposite side of the house, which was super inconvenient in the middle of the night. We never met or saw the innkeeper or a manager. I reached out to them about partial compensation but didn’t hear back. Very disappointing. We won’t be back.

Very quaint and historic and a lot of steps(squeaky). Fun stay, enjoyed it.
Negative was the booking. Price went up the second I ADDED another day. Emails AFTER booking notified that there was no breakfast offered or welcome basket as in the advertising. Reached out to the owners, but nothing.

Very nice, historical place to stay. Very easy walk to downtown.

The house was absolutely beautiful! Something out of a fairytale. Now the cleanliness is a different story the room was dusty the sheets were a dingy yellow color and there was hair on the pillowcase, we chose to sleep on top of the bed spread with our own towels on top just to be safe, there was also a ton of bugs everywhere i believe them to be kissing bugs which made for a restless night, there was also an air unit in the window that wasnt properly sealed which is where the bugs seemed to be getting in and also was letting in a cold breeze. Overall i had higher expectations but i was sent an email stating they were short staffed, so i guess that's why the room wasn't up to par.

The visit was amazing. The owner helped inspire an atmosphere in the hotel that was very friendly, with convivial conversations at breakfast. In all, the accommodations were relaxed and comfortable.

Tarabino inn was wonderful!! We had the Trinidad suite and everything was top notch. Dave was extremely kind and generous and helped us out in a pinch. 5 stars! Stay here on your trip to Trinidad!!

We were very satisfied with our stay. It’s an old house with lots of character - updated where necessary but still has plenty of the original details. The breakfast was delicious, and conversation with other guests and with Steve was very enjoyable.

The friendly host greeted us at the door, making us feel so welcome. We had the lovely Garden Suite. It is on the main floor and next to the bathroom. This was perfect since my companion has trouble with stairs. She brought her service dog and this suite had its own access to a private backyard. Our stay was perfect!

It was a trip with my mother and we’re on our way to Casper Wyoming and decided to stay at this place and enjoy a quiet beautiful vintage place. Very clean! Very enjoyable. And great hosr

Fabulous old building with so much originality. I was especially impressed with the extra space available in the rooms. Owners were great and very knowledgeable about the area.

I really enjoyed my stay at this inn. It is an old Victorian house, so you need to be the sort of person who enjoys that. You won’t be comfortable if you want everything to be modern and up-to-date. But I really enjoyed it. The innkeeper is friendly, and the continental breakfast was very good. I enjoyed chatting with the inn keeper and the other guest. I would stay here again, if I were passing through Trinidad.

Although we only stayed one very quiet Sunday night at the Tarabino Inn, we loved the historic architecture, quiet house and neighborhood, and convenient location to main street. Our host was very nice and we would definitely recommend staying here while in Trinidad!
