It was a super cute little place and the neighborhood surrounding is gorgeous. The house owners are super nice and understanding. Great communication!

The host was friendly and welcoming.
The floor was cold, there is very little natural light, and some of the artwork my son and I found to be creepy.
There is one double bed, so if you are coming not as a couple but as a parent/child (as we were, to support a soccer tournament) be prepared to share a bed. The couch is not sleepable.
There was not a freezer to put the icepack from our cooler in.
We could clearly hear footsteps from the first floor of the house. I was awakened just as I was falling asleep, and also around 4 or 5am, by the footsteps from the main house. You can hear every board creek from the floor above in the VRBO rental.
Our first morning there, we could hear what sounded like a family argument from upstairs. We could make out distinct words and later the sound of a vacuum cleaner.
It’s a basement turned into a rental, and over-priced for what it is.
And the host was very warm and welcoming.

Grateful to book this cozy, comfortable, art-filled studio for a quick overnight. Located in a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood, this space is well-appointed with a kitchen and laundry for a longer stay. We appreciated the owners’ clear instructions and welcome note, settling in easily for a restful evening and sound sleep. Thank you again!

Very doable, except parking for anything larger than a compact automobile.

Host was helpful and unit was clean, comfortable and in a great location for walking t o a nearby mall and bus stops. It worked very well for us as our daughter lives near by.

This was the location we needed and the rental met our needs for a place to sleep and have breakfast. It is a quiet setting. Having a washer & dryer was a bonus. It was a good place to meet our needs.

The property was easy to find, clean and quite. Parking a full-size truck was a little challenging, other than that Great!

This is a secluded property, away from noisy streets, etc. It can be hard to find so use the owner's directions, not your GPS.
The owner responded quickly to my text questions, the wine, cookies, and chocolates were a nice touch too.
Overall, the apartment worked well for my stay. I would consider it again for future visits to the area.

Very quiet and peaceful location near Lake Washington. Good for rest and activities of ur choice. Not top of the line, but perfectly adequate for short stay.

Stephen and John were fabulous hosts and the studio apartment was just as advertised. The property was beautiful and they allowed our dog to stay with us. The bed was small but comfortable. The whole deal was sweetened by a courtesy bottle of wine and bag of yummy chocolates. It’s a little noisy when someone walks around above the apartment but that happened infrequently. Check in could be a little easier if the house number was posted and if there was a light above the key box, but these were minor details. Thank you for directions to parks, John, and for a lovely stay.

I love everything about this place. Quiet (yes, you can hear people moving about sometimes but not a single outside noise in this secluded dead end street), welcoming, cozy, and actually perfect for me, my spouse, and my small dog. Close to parks, easy drive to almost anywhere, and delightfully decorated space to boot. Plus plenty of hot water for the shower. I hope to stay again!

If you’re needing a somewhere to crash for a short period of time, this is a great place. I stayed for a few weeks which was a little difficult given the set up but not bad. There are somethings the owner can’t change, like being able to hear everything going on above you and the GPS not taking you to the right address sometimes.

It was a perfect, cozy place to stay with all the amenities you need. The host is very responsive if you need anything. Was here for an event in Seattle, so it was a short drive to get away to a quiet neighborhood away from all the commotion that the city brings. Most importantly, as dog parents who’s dogs travel with us, we were especially grateful it’s dog friendly, as it is really hard to find places/hotels that do accommodate dogs! So those traveling with your fur babies, this place is the one!

The listing advertises an in-law but it’s really more of a finished basement; it stays kind of cold but there’s space heaters and blankets. The bed is super comfy, but it’s right under the stairs of the main house which can be very very loud. Any loud voices or music in the backyard also echoes through the kitchen and bathroom. There was a cook top but no pans, however the microwave and toaster oven work fine. Stephen was semi responsive over text and seemed impatient on the phone, however there was some wine and chocolate when I arrived and flowers after I requested that they quiet down my first night at 10pm.
The wifi also did not even show up on my devices and I got the roku to work with Netflix once. The property is beautiful though and it’s very central. The lake is super close and Bellevue was a 20 min drive down for me regardless of what time I left. I’d stay here again definitely, because it was affordable and nice, I just think the listing needs to be more accurate and the amenities need to either work or not be advertised.

It was a very pretty setup and I liked how it was close to everything we needed
