About this villa rental
Located within the cliffs along with a wave of other colourful buildings that nestle dramatically above the sea is modern and spacious Stella dei Venti. This holiday villa is in a prime position for making the most of the sea views that the coastal town of Positano boasts. Its setting means you get to enjoy uninterrupted vistas, which are even more spectacular in the evenings as the sun starts to set.
The best place to appreciate your stunning surroundings is from the charming outside space. A charming terrace is home to a garden with seating areas that offer almost panoramic views over the water and Positano itself. Inside, you’ll find a villa that reflects the laidback location, with marine hues to the soft furnishings and plenty of traditional patterns and prints.
There’s a choice of where to spend your chilled-out time at this villa, with several living spaces that feature beautiful Gio Ponti flooring and Murano lamps. They also feature comfortable sofas and armchairs for relaxing in the evenings before dinner is served. One of the living rooms also has a dining area, with a large dining room to be found on the first floor. Both the ground-floor and first-floor kitchens are well-equipped, so you’ll have no trouble cooking up delicious meals. One also features a small table with chairs; offering the chance to enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out for the day.
The three bedrooms at Stella dei Venti are all light and restful spaces. The master bedroom also has doors that offer direct access to the outside space and which allow the gentle sea breeze to flow through freely.
Spend lazy afternoons that turn into atmospheric evenings on the spacious terrace. Loungers are perfectly positioned to offer clear sea views and can be found at terrace edge, as well as set back on the lawn. The lawn itself is bursting with colourful plants, trees and flowers for a truly Mediterranean feel. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks and al fresco meals with a choice of seating and dining areas.
Everything that Positano has to offer is within easy walking distance of the villa. Because the town has built up around the cliffs, its geography is suitably dramatic. You’ll come across steep, winding streets lined with boutiques and cafés, as well as pretty beaches and a range of restaurants serving traditional cuisine.
Positano is great for simply unwinding and soaking up the vibe of a typical Amalfi Coast seaside town, but it’s also a starting point for many other activities. Hike along the clifftop Sentiero degli Dei trail to towns like Praiano and take the ferry over to Capri and Ischia to explore lush island landscapes.
