The location is excellent. The overall property is lovely although a bit tired. The rooms were in need of an update and were slightly dirty. The restaurant was pretty, condescending wait staff and mediocre food for the cost. The outside area is lovely and unusual for the city location.

Georgeus palace, with beautiful decoration in the nicest Madrid¨s neigborhood. Lobby, restaurantes, bars, and so, look wonderfull and luxury. Bedroom large & confortable. I needs some technological update.

It is very hard to condense in a few word our stay in Santo Mauro. EVERYTHING, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING has been perfect. We stayed in this hotel as we wanted to treat ourselves for a few days before and after our wedding... well, the team went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and memorable. Everyone was really helpful and willing to make our stay special, and they definitely succeeded. The rooms are from out of this world, the beds are second to none, the service is superb, and the details and attentions the staff had with us will never be forgotten... and I could go on and on and on. Thank you so much to the whole team for making an already special day even better, we will definitely come back for our wedding anniversary!

A really lavish hotel, centrally located, with excellent staff. The garden area is wonderful for evening drinks and events, and breakfast is also served here. The decor was a little opulent for my tastes, but if Renaissance, Louis XIV style is your thing, this hotel will tick every box.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms spacious and the service excellent (although we did ask for more coffee capsules which they said they would bring but then forgot). Check-in was smooth and we were upgraded to a suite, a nice start to the weekend. The concierge helpfully made a good choice for our Sunday dinner (especially nice since it was a birthday dinner, which was communicated to the restaurant and we received a nice treat). Would love to return. I also liked the fact that the hotel was within walking distance to museums but was not as touristy as others nearby.

This hotel was a perfect find. It is in a fairly residential neighborhood with many amenities and very close to the sights and shopping. The facility, staff, and room were fabulous. Don't let the Marriot affiliation deter you from booking this gem.

Great hotel..we had a wonderful time staying here in Madrid. Everything is walking distance once you get familiar with the area. The boutique hotel was perfect for relaxing after a day of touring. It was very quiet in a nice neighborhood. The outdoor terrace was especially nice. Great staff that are always willing to help with any requests. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing experience. Our rooms and service were amongst the best I have encountered. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. I loved the location which was a quiet upscale neighborhood with a lovely cafe right across the street. A short walk and you come across more restaurants, shops and cafes.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable and beautiful boutique hotel. Extremely helpful staff and very comfortable room. The place is well preserved villa with a lovely garden bar/restaurant in the back: a secluded oasis. The tapas are outstanding as are the generous drinks. The location is upscale and quiet, yet close enough to the trendier neighborhoods and museums. Wifi was very fast at 20/20. Cant wait to come back!Highly recommended.

There are splendid gardens with beautiful flowers. In the summer it is especially refreshing. The rooms are exquisite. I had my favorite brand 'Natura Bisse' products for use and that made me happy as well. Enjoy your travels.
