Relatively New development next to the historic Hotel Rottnest, relatively spacious room and comfortable bed. Well appointed with understated elegance.

The major remark is the cost value ratio; for over 500 AUD, one would expect breakfast, and a bit more service; the lotion and soap/shampoo dispenser did not work well and belong to a 2-3 start hotel not to a luxury resort!

We stayed here while attending a wedding. The pool area is really excellent and a beautiful place to relax. Breakfast and casual lunch in the hotel restaurant were exactly what we wanted and hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Restaurant needs a little fine tuning, especially brekky. All in all, not too bad.

Great location, very relaxing, lovely pool area.

Rooms were noisey, we had a family next door and it was like they were in our room once the kids were awake, not very sound proofed at all.

Being able to sit out the front of the room on a daybed and see the ocean

No breakfast room service and the disorganisation of who had what breakfast included with a big group. For the price you pay, breakfast should be included in all bookings. Also where the bike store was our seat was taken form one of our bikes :-( they need better storing facilities.

The price is not worth for what we get, first of all the room design was very simple, we would rate it as 3 star hotel as it comes with small room, simple design, limited amenities, the shampoo and body wash pump was hard to push down, air con was broken and we had someone up to fix, the kettle was rusty and we asked for an exchange but was told that that’s all they have, there was nothing more to enjoy in the room for the extraordinary high price we paid.

Beautiful rooms, location, decor, facilities.

Staff could be a little more accommodating. Wanted to upgrade to a oceanfront room at quite an expense but had to check out of old room by 10am and couldn’t check back in till 3pm. Staff couldn’t offer a late checkout or have the new room ready any earlier apparently., ( our stay was mid week) Not very flexible seeing as you are already a paying guest.

Smokers in adjoining rooms that were not dealt with .Continued for 24 hr period and no positive outcome… we should have at the very least been offered another room if the management were unable to locate the source .we complained on 4 seperate occasions.Poor effort on Samphires management.Received a patronising reply to our written complaint and a “ hope you will stay with us again “Obviously the individual writing the response was not paying the bill and to all appearances couldn’t care less… just my opinion after enduring second hand cigarette fumes for 24th s.
