About this farm stay rental
Feel the simplicity of the 1800's in our 1850 stone farmhouse decorated with colonial American style antiques & furnishings. Areas to share are an authentic tavern room complete with a cage bar and a fully equipped kitchen tucked behind it, a beautiful Library room w fireplace and game table to enjoy some quiet, relaxing moments and a dining room w additional sitting area. A laundry laundry room is available to guests renting for a week or more. There are currently 3 Bed Chambers available with private bathrooms. A courtyard with patio for outdoor dining is in a beautifully gated area to the entrance of the farmhouse. Recently completed is Olde Homestead Cottage located 10' from the entrance to The Inn. It was the original summer kitchen to the farmhouse. It is 400 Sq ft with a double bed and a large sitting area with a gas fireplace. It's very cozy & quaint. It is our pet friendly unit & very private.
Also situated on the Olde Wisconsin Homestead is a shop, Just A Little Bit Country, specializing in 18th & 19th century New England antiques & home furnishings. It is owned & operated by the Inn Keeper, Kari Miller-Cameron who renovated, designed & furnished The Inn. Visit www.justalittlebitcountry.com
Adjacent to the shop is Jack's Cafe' which is also historically furnished & serves the best lunches in town from 11 am 'til 2:30 pm. Two outdoor seating areas are available to enjoy the beautiful garden areas on the property. The cafe' is owned & operated by Kari & her husband Jack. We are located near the beautiful Kettle Moraine area and a short 20 minute drive from Milwaukee "Home of the festivals"!
