About this house rental

This pair of beautifully designed seaside retreats were carefully renovated in 2021 by Birch Stays to host larger group stays of up to 17 guests. With the Coach House and the Cottage sharing the same mature grounds, lined by Pine trees and available to be booked together, The Pines is the perfect location for your holiday with friends or family.

By offering a collection of attractive holiday homes we can create virtual holiday communities offering bespoke packages and activities, with a level of service rarely available for affordable, short-stay domestic holidays. Additional services are available to enhance our Staymakers experience, such as in-house private dining, in-house SPA days, P.T. classes, yoga retreats, craft days, paddle boarding, sea kayaking, surf lessons, amongst many more fun activities and watersports.

Bull Bay
Located in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), this seaside retreat boasts stunning coastal walks, attractive local pubs, and a championship golf course, to add further interest to the beauty of the surrounding countryside. In addition, an array of water sports are hosted from the Bay, just a 5-minute walk away from the Pines.

Located on the northeastern tip of Anglesey, Bull Bay is an excellent base from which to explore the island and, in particular, the nearby seaside villages of Cemaes Bay and Benllech. Fascinating heritage walks can also be taken around the old copper mine workings that overlook the Bay.

More small bays, coves and inlets are dotted around the surrounding coastline, with secluded beaches for picnics and seaside activities, including dolphin-watching.

Try a walk westward to Cemaes Bay where some lovely sandy beaches are located; you can dip your toes in the sea before having a wander around the pretty village of Cemaes where the local fish and chips are well worth a try!

Located on the hill overlooking the bay, the two homes are dressed to provide luxurious and sociable space to enjoy with family and friends. The uniqueness of the homes’ external appearance is complimented by minimal and contemporary interior design. The open living areas flooded by natural light are dressed in warm natural textiles and patterns that provide a relaxing destination for your stay.

Whilst the pair of houses enjoy their own individual privacy, they are the ideal destination for larger get-togethers with seating for all guests in The Cottage dining area and on the extensive outside decking areas.

The Coach House (sleeps 7 guests):
You are welcomed by a separate entrance lobby with adorned by an original bay window, that provides the perfect decamping area after a busy day of activities.

Off the entrance area is a spacious double bedroom with level access for all guests, and the main entertaining space. You enter the main living space through the lounge snug, with an L-shaped sofa for the evening’s relaxation. Through the lounge you step down in the open plan kitchen dining area, with an inbuilt dining banquette and adjoining sliding doors onto the private decking area.

The decking area is also connected by a hatched window, providing the most unique breakfast bar area on the island. The fully equipped kitchen with a wine cooler and downdraft extractor hob, are complimented by the separate utility room and downstairs w/c.

Whilst upstairs, the master super king bedroom’s double velux provide a light and spacious space. The family bathroom provides sweeping views across the Irish Sea from the fully tiled rainforest shower. Across the landing there is reading nook that provides the perfect quiet space for reading or as a holiday office space. The final bedroom provides a triple bunk bed for up to 4 children or 2 adults, and with the 4 windows, is a light and vibrant space.

This spacious seaside retreat and the generously proportioned bedroom suites provide flexible sleeping spaces to accommodate a variety of families and groups, and can host 8 people.

The Cottage (sleeps 10 guests):
You are welcomed by a separate entrance lobby and a fully equipped utility room, that provides the perfect decamping area after a busy day of activities.

You enter in the main entertaining space, with an open kitchen, dining and lounge area, that provide direct access on to the private decking through the sliding glass doors. The two full height windows line the south-west elevation of the home and the stunning glass kitchen splashback make for a light and open space.

Off the living area, is the third super king bedroom, the fourth double bedroom that Birch Stays can set up for a separate home office space and a large family bathroom suite, with a shower and bath.

Whilst upstairs, the master super king bedroom’s dormer provides sweeping views across the Irish Sea and includes its own stylish en-suite shower room. Across the landing there is a beautiful, bright 4x bunk room, with hidden kid’s den. For the more mature guests who might not be using the secret den, the bedroom can sleep up to 3 adults.

Both kitchens are fully equipped with large ovens, large fridge and freezers, microwaves, dishwashers and separate drinks fridge sin the utility room. As the houses are crafted for large family gatherings or a party of friends, there are pots large enough for lobsters and roast dinners alike!
