Property is as listed. Property manager, Luca, was totally awesome! He was very responsive and helpful. Arranged an in villa cooking class and dinner for us on our last night. Amazing. Know that you have to walk a lot of steps to and from town unless you’re willing to wait for a shuttle bus reasonably close by. If you have knee issues, it should be a consideration, but the view was worth every step! Thank me for the opportunity to stay here!

We loved the view and the town! The house had a neat layout. Luca was very helpful but we did not know we would have to pay $200 for parking. Parking was really tight and very difficult. Scratched our car trying to get in the parking space. The home only has fans and no air condition and it was miserably hot! You could not open the windows or doors to let in the ocean breeze because of mosquitoes. The beds were also very hard! Loved Praiano but would not stay here in late summer!!

Communications went well in setting up arrangements for arrival. Mr. Luca welcomed us. He was very friendly and explained the house rules and helpful information about the area and how to get around. The house was large, roomy and clean. It was nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy the wonderful view. We were glad we stayed in Praiano because it seemed calmer but still close enough to surrounding areas to visit. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Loved the views from the balcony- breathtaking. Luca is amazing- he helped us set up a boat charter to Capri. They assisted with us hiring a chef to provide a cooking class then serving us an amazing dinner. We walked everywhere around Praiano due to the great location!!! What a great place to begin our vacation!!

Location is even more beautiful than the VRBO listing would suggest. The house is spacious. The balconies and porches are beautiful and the property manager Luca was very helpful. Highly recommended!

Magnificent view! Great house and location. It’s spacious, clean, and well stocked. Each bedroom has a balcony with ocean views.
Mr. Luca greets you on your arrival and provides great information.
Simonetta from the property office was always helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
Praiano is a wonderful location and I would go again and again. It’s a more relaxed atmosphere than Positano and the locals are all very friendly.
The property and location will not disappoint however, be prepared to walk down 370 stairs to get to the main road or you can take the local bus #17 which stops across the street from the house. The SITA bus which picks you up on the Main Street will take you It’s all across the peninsula. It’s all very convenient.
Praiano is a wonderful place to visit!

The description and the pictures do not do this villa justice. It is beautiful and the views are spectacular. Six friends spent six nights and it was plenty big with all the things we needed. Lots of walking down the mountain road or stairs to town, but doable. The non-touristy town with lovely seaside restaurants is the perfect home base, and other more touristy places can be easily reached and explored. Highly recommended.

My family was thrilled with this beautiful retreat - gorgeous views from every room! After a day visiting Capri, Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, and Pompeii, we would have dinner and enjoy the view from a large outdoor patio overlooking this magnificent sea view. Mr. Luca was always there to attend to any needs or questions. Truly a gem - and if you do not have a car, an easy shuttle bus to the local stores, etc. as well as to the cruise ships plus tour pick-up areas!

The house was very nice and it suited our group of 5 adult persons very well. The lower floor of the house smelled a little confined, but having open doors for a day helped.
The views from the balcony and the terrace is unbeatable! The entire bay of Positano can be viewed and it is simply breathtaking. We spend quite a bit of time just looking at this view :)
When visiting Praiano you should be prepared to walk A LOT of stairs, as it is close to impossible to park in the main parts of the city.
When traveling the coastline, be prepared that the public transportation, can be a little unstable, but it beats driving if you value your car and don't want to spend a small fortune for parking :)
All in all we had a fantastic time on the Amalfi coast with this nice house as our base. We can recommend it very much

My wife and I and our two teenage sons spent a fabulous few days at this wonderful property. The highlight is the fantastic terraces and the wonderful views over the harbor and the town. All of the main rooms lead out to terraces and there are views from all the main rooms. There was plenty of room and we could have accommodated additional people if needed. The house is close to the town with restaurants and shops although be aware there is a steep climb from the town (that view doesn't come without some work!). Luca made the check in process easy and provided lots of helpful information on

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. There are a lot of good things about this place. The view is incredible, the place was very clean when we arrived, the city is not nearly as crowded as the nearby towns of Positano and Amalfi, and the property manager helped us coordinate with restaurants and other activities to help make our stay very nice.
On the other hand, our biggest disappointment of our stay happened to occur during check in. We were coming from Tuscany and by the time we got to Praiano it was just after 6pm, we were informed by the property manager that we had to pay an additional 50 euros for "late check in." We tried explaining that we never were made aware of a late check in fee (although 6pm is hardly a late check in), but he said we should have known and it was on the contract. I showed him what I had and it said nothing of a late check in fee, so he said I should take a picture of the form he had on hand. Eventually the property manager said he was just following orders from the owner and he had no control over it. It was very disappointing for us because we were not made aware of a late fee, were not told through any communication that we would be charged a late fee, and it got our stay off to a bad start. There were other taxes and fees that the property manager collected on site which we came to expect (Italians really nickel and dime tourists!), but these were normal. The beds were really hard and the trash situation could have been made better.

This is a great multi-level property with two off-street parking spots at the property. Under the parking is your laundry and one floor below begins the house. Two Baths, full kitchen, two terraces with two bedrooms on the level below. The bedrooms have the unique ability to have direct sea views, making waking up in the morning a pleasure. Recently renovated.
There is a full stair all the way down to the main road in Praiano, where you’ll fine great eateries, small but very worthwhile grocery and our favorite, the Bar Del Sole, offering a great terrace to soak in the sun while sipping the beverage of your choice. We also really enjoy the Trattoria San Gennaro which is situated outside overlooking the church courtyard.
The views of Positano from the house or any of these venues is superb, particularly when the lights go on at night.

Great views, awesome location! There are a lot of stairs or an inclined road to get to the property but I believe there’s a shuttle

A lovely stay
Sol Luna was everything we'd hoped for. It did not disappoint. Walking out onto the patio with the view of Positano, Capri and the Tyrrhenian Sea was stunning. The bedrooms with their own veranda was an added bonus. Since we had a car the parking space was perfect. It all made for a lovely vacation on the Amalfi coast.

Beautiful views
Praiano was away from the touristy towns along the Amalfi coast. Villa had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and excellent location for touring. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. Lucca was a great host and was always available. Highly recommend having the chef come and prepare dinner!

Overall outstanding
Property was exactly as expected, stunning views! Well stocked kitchen, everything worked. The property manager was always available - good advice on restaurants, set up free shuttles, and excellent boat trip. Quiet neighborhood, high up the cliff gives great views, also means 200 steps down to main road. Scary driving if you are unfamiliar, with tight parking all over. A most beautiful place, flowers everywhere. Excellent rental.

WHAT A VIEW!
What a great holiday home. Every room has a beautiful sea view! And that terrace!
We had a great time and would definitely come back. The two story apartment has every what you need, especially the views and the west orientation (sunsets!). We loved the terrace where we had breakfasts and cosy dinners.

Superbe

Amazing house and location
The house was lovely. The kitchen was great for us as we like to cook in. We also cooked in the outdoor fireplace. Fresh Roasted Chicken. There were even fresh herbs in the garden.
Amazing views toward Positano & Capri in the distance, for sunset. Watching Positano light up at night ...Awesome
The host was very helpful.
Loved it!!!

Couldn't imagine a better place to stay for the price.
It was a beautiful house that had everything we needed. A great parking place with only a few steps to the property. Two great balconies and a wonderful spacious Terrace. All with a beautiful view of the sea and Positano. It's a great location in a quiet town and 10 km from either Amalfi and Positano where you can join the crowds. The house was clean and spacious. We found the beds comfortable. The local contact Luca was extremely helpful with giving us area information and helping us plan our days. Highly recommend the place for a group wanting the Amalfi experience. I may go back!

Beautiful property with the best views
We stayed at this property for one week in September and I only wish we could have stayed longer! It is a beautiful property, lots of room, lots of balcony/patio space with what we thought were the best views of anywhere we visited on the Amalfi Coast! Seeing a view of Capri and the Faraglioni rocks from your bed in a morning, and sitting on your balcony in the evening looking at the lights of Positano were definitely the highlights for us! The parking space was invaluable, it would not have been easy to park on the road outside the property. Mr Luca was very friendly and helpful when we checked in and out of the property and was on the end of the phone if we'd have needed him at any time during the week. The main street of Praiano was easy to reach although the steps are VERY steep! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Overall our first trip to Italy was unforgettable because of staying in this lovely house, and we will hopefully return one day soon. Francesca and her colleagues will go out of their way to help you plan your trip so I would not hesitate to use them for future bookings.

Beautiful view with a great location
Francesca and Matteo,
Your villa was a great place to stay and see the beautiful scenery of Capri, Positano and a perfect location to get around. Luca was great to work with and responded to our every need. Having the parking spot was great for us. We had only one problem that never got resolved and that was the WiFI, it never worked well enough for us to use. I would not have paid for it if I had know the issues with that, the problem I believe is a dish is used and the weather caused us to lose the signal.
The neighbors were very kind and helped us on many occasions. We felt like we were at home with our surroundings and there were some good grocery stores nearby to get our food as we needed it.
If you are not used to driving the narrow roads of the Amalfi Coast in Italy can be a challenge but at the same time fun to see. Beautiful places to go such as Positano, Amalfi and Pompeii from the villa. Luca helped organize a boat ride to Capri and that was a great ride and fun island to visit.
Our best to you and your travels.
John and the 5 traveling ladies!

OOOW :)
We had a magnificent week in Casa Sole Luna, a nice villa with beautiful views over the Tyrrhenian Sea as far as Capri. Many thanks to Luca who knows how to make guests feel very welcome. He arranged bookings to several good restaurants (including shuttle service!), and a trip to Capri. The local bus stops in front of the house every 30 minutes. It brings you down the village and stops amongst others at places where stairs are leading down to small beaches. Praiano is a good base to explore the Amalfi Coast. We even went from here to Napoli, Pompeï, Ercolaneum and also Paestum. For daily shopping we recommend Angela’s Alimantari: everything you need is available here. We are sure that many guests will come after us and will enjoy their stay as much as we did :)

We enjoyed our stay at the villa
We enjoyed our stay at the villa very much. In response to your request for feedback we have the following points: Welcome Staff We struggled to find the place and someone came out on a motorbike to look for us which we appreciated. However, we think if a better map with written directions (from when you enter the village on the main road) had been provided we would have been able to find the villa a lot easier as there are various one-way only roads etc which make the villa hard to find. Facilities As the villa has a large outside space we thought it would have been good if a BBQ was provided that could be used to cook outside on. Property, Services, Customer Care No comments thanks David (UK - London)

Nice villa, but stay was marred.
While the house had a good view, and a parking space, our stay was marred by the lack of heat and hot water…and, the conduct of the real estate broker.
We were there in mid-April…the temperature was in the 40s (Fahrenheit). We arrived to find the furnace was broken and we had no heat or hot water…for two days!
We were not informed of this situation until we in the evening. Not only was the house freezing, but there was no toilet paper or soap. And, the towels were thread-bare hand-me downs.
This was no way to start our vacation for ourselves and two children!
While Luca, the caretaker, tried to get the furnace fixed…and brought in a gas space-heater...it barely warmed-up downstairs, let alone the upper two levels and the kitchen.
And, when we plugged-in an electric heater, it blew the fuse-box to the entire house.
The Amalfi Coast is lovely, but I would avoid staying at this villa, or finding a property through Simonetta Vismara at Costa Divina.
Frankly, it's too much money to spend for this lack of concern, lack of hospitality and poor maintenance.
After returning home from our extended vacation, I contacted the owner to see if they might give us a little credit for the two days without heat. Not only did the owner / Simonetta Vismara - Costa Divina (Real Estate Agency) decline to extend any consideration, but she chastised me for intimating it was her problem. "You are complaining about a technical problem, that could occur in any properties and it doesn't depend on the agency!"
BTW - The walk down to the lovely village of Praiano is 358 steps…fun on the way down…good exercise on the way backup.
Also, for better or worse, there is no internet connection at Villa Sol Luna.

Absolutely Beautiful!
A bunch of us rented this property for about a week mid-September. The house is located in Praiano and has most beautiful views! There are a couple of bedrooms on the 1st floor, and 1 bedroom (with 2 separate beds) on the 2nd; 2 full bathrooms (one downstairs and one upstairs), a living room and a kitchen. It has a nice-size terrace and a parking spot outside. The grocery stores, restaurants, travel office, and bank are very close. The property is located on the top of the hill, so to get to the main street, you'll either need a car, or walk down about 200 steps (if you're out of shape, consider taking the car :). The real estate office assigned a local contact to us, who was more than helpful! He met us at Praiano, and drove us to the property, coordinated our trip to Capri, and even coordinated with Naples airport and delivered one of the delayed pieces of luggage! We would definitely go back there!
