A pleasant stay in a small apartment.

We found it easy to locate, just under 10 minutes walk to the underground, wasn’t difficult even with carrying our luggage. A few minor adjustments to the property would make it more serviceable. It is a very small apartment but has all you need if you want to save some money by eating at home. The owner was very helpful.

The garbage bins outside were overflowing and during the night people or foxes rummaging through it.

Affordable for London - we would stay again.

True to photos and description. Property was warm in winter and adequate space for a couple. Excellent location and access to Golders Green amenities and Tube.

Shower wasn’t luxury but did the job.

Breve soggiorno a Londra

Posizione comoda ai mezzi e vicina ai servizi del quartiere (bar, supermercati h24). Con la metro in una mezz'ora si raggiunge il centro di Londra. Casa molto piccola ed essenziale ma perfetta per un soggiorno breve di due persone. La host è stata molto gentile e ci ha aiutato in caso di ogni bisogno.

Migliorerei il riscaldamento perché la piccole stufe nella stanza e soprattutto quella del bagno non sono sufficienti a riscaldare tutto l'ambiente nei mesi freddi. Inoltre l'acqua dei lavandini era sempre ghiacciata.

Very good

Really nice open room with a working kitchen and had big windows to let in nice sunlight. Was also very good location close to shops & cafes as well as the underground train station.

Was right in front of some big rubbish bins and couldn’t leave the window open all the time as the smell of the rubbish would creep in. Also the stairs for upstairs room was quite narrow so it is hard to get luggage up but it can be done with 2 people.

Great place to stay to visit London

Location is great, easy to get to by Metro, 5 minute walk from the Metro station, flat - no uphill if you have suitcases. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Very quiet for sleeping.

Kind of small, nowhere to really sit. Kitchen area is tiny

Comfy, super clean stay with all new amenities!

Excellent studio that’s super clean and provided all new amenities. Great caring Host and easy communication.

Cobble street outside entrance door was a step up too high, should have a permanent platform built for easier access.

It's a lovely apartment with lots of potential, the linen was clean, owner friendly and the location is excellent...

The entire apartment from the downstairs staircase to the bathroom upstairs smelt of cigarette smoke that was difficult to get rid off. We opened all windows despite the cold weather. The owner brought us a fragrant infuser but that didn't make much difference. I went out and bought air freshener and did some cleaning myself. The kitchen and oven were not very clean. Bathroom is tiny. Hot water kept vascillating between being unbearably hot and cold. The kettle element was burnt and gave off a terrible smell. We removed it from the apartment but alas we're not issued with a replacement kettle so we stayed without a kettle all weekend.

Very good

The owner of the apartment is amazing person, helped in any situation, explained everything and gave a lot of advice where to go. The apartment is small but clean, has small kitchen and fridge, shower and toilet also we're clean.

It was really cold in the apartment, I need to use the heater at the night. Also as of now they fix the road outside the window and the noice was terrible, to get to the apartment with begs were difficult.

Perfect!

The apartment is in a very nice area, quiet yet surrounded by many places to eat if you want to hang around. It is not far from central London and the underground station is just a 5 min walk. The house is not so big but it’s very well equipped, there’s everything you might need and even more. The host is really nice and available.

The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable but it’s ok for a 5/6 night stay

Great if you're not a sensitive sleeper

It's a property with all the facilities you need, a quick walk from the tube station. I was pleasantly surprised by how many facilities the host offered: washing up liquid, even a washing machine, all the things you need for a shower, soap etc. Very well equipped, plenty of good lighting. The bed was quite comfortable but keep in mind that it's very sensitive memory foam so it will form a dent where you'be been lying, not everyone likes it I guess. The host was very friendly and helpful at all times.

Unfortunately, the flat is a part of a house, which separates flats with only a stud wall between them (very thin, with little or no sound insulation). I woke up every time my neighbors from the side and the upstairs walked around, especially when they came back in/went out. At the beginning I heard the sounds and thought there was someone in my room. Sleep is quite important to me and staying in this room made me feel very tired because I woke up at 5am and could get to sleep because of other people. If you can sleep in noisy environments it won't be a problem for you. Also I found the shower quite hard to use, I wonder if because this flat is AirBnB style, the host should consider providing more welcome notes on arriving about how to use various appliances, like the shower, and to let the guests know that the doors lock shut as I wasn't sure about that.

Pleasant

We chose the accommodation because of the location. The tube takes 20 minutes to get to the centre. And there's a National Express bus stop to Stansted Airport nearby, which you'll appreciate on an early morning flight. Handing over the keys was easy. The location was quiet, the accommodation clean.

The bed was really soft and uncomfortable. Really small for two. Yes, I'm used to small beds from the UK, I don't expect a double bed, but this was an uncomfortable sofa bed. If you only go to the flat to sleep, you can stand it. Worse was the water crash in the street. The owner informed us of the crash, I'm grateful for that, it was fair of her. Unfortunately we could only get into the street one way and we were walking ankle deep in water. Which was unpleasant. There was no water pressure in the shower though. You really couldn't shower or wash your hair in it. There was very little water flowing. I believe it was the breakdown of the water that caused this inconvenience.

The studio was very comfortable. There were many details like a bottle of water, a cereal bar, a fresh air device, iron machine, hair dryer, nice shampoo and gel. Location very convenient for this area.

Superb apartment, well-placed for shops and tube station

A lovely self- contained apartment with everything you would need. Fantastic loction on a quite street right behind the main thoroughfare with restaurants and shops literally round the corner. A 5 minute walk to the tube station and then half hour into the centre. Priya, the host, was super friendly with great communication and a wealth of local knowledge and tips.

It wasn't good to have to close the desk when there was a need to go to the bathroom while working at the desk. However, if they mounted the table 5-10 cm to the left, there would be no such problem. It would be better if there was also an iron and an ironing board.
