Nous ne sommes jamais venus après avoir reçu un appel téléphonique nous disant qu'ily avait un bébé et un chien dans l'appartement. Il avait été convenu que nous serions remboursés. On attend toujours !! je ne rempli pas le questionnaire puisque je n'y suis pas venue !

cette intervention et la suite annonçée qui ne vient pas par rapport au remboursement de 45 €

Proximité de la mer Chambre agréable, décorée avec goût Hôtes sympathiques, accueil agréable.

L'annonce disait salle de bain privée, en réalité elle est sur le palier, à côté des toilettes. J'étais la seule à l'utiliser pour mon séjour car pas d'autre locataire, mais le fait de devoir sortir de la chambre ne me convient pas. Parking gratuit dans la rue, pas facile de trouver une place libre. L'annonce disait pas d'entrée/sortie après 22h, sur place il m'a été dit 20h (je n'ai pas négocié)

Je revenais de Corse par Ferry et j'ai réservé pour la nuit du 21 aout 2023 car j'avais besoin de faire une halte. Je pensais que c'était un hôtel et quand je suis arrivée 5mn après ma réservation j'ai réalisé que c'était une chambre chez l'habitant qui était fermée. Quand j'ai appelé je me suis fait hurler dessus car l'hôte était en vacances et je le dérangeais. Il m'a fait remarquer que je m'étais trompée de date, ce en quoi il avait raison. J'ai annulé rapidement puis ai rappelé pour me faire rembourser...55 euro ! Le tenancier refuse de me rembourser en arguant à chaque fois des raisons différentes les plus loufoques les une que les autres. Même le manager de booking lui a demandé de me rembourser. Il fait la sourde oreille...Je trouve cela tellement misérable et pitoyable, pour 55 euro dont je ne lui ferai pas cadeau. Allez sur les avis google et vous constaterez que cet homme est un escroc. Aussi minable que la chambre qu'il loue pour parait il. J'ai dû saisir le tribunal de grande instance pour me faire rembourser cette somme dérisoire et je serai ravie de constater qu'au delà du remboursement qu'il me fera il sera condamné au dépend...tout cela pour 55 euros !

Booking devrait sélectionner les établissements qu'il met sur sa plateforme. Le tenancier est un escroc .

Nice shared appartment with good value for money

Very nice staff, very good value for money, located near the beach and sea view from the rooms.

It was not clearly mentioned that the house is shared with other people and animals. Especially people who are allergic to cats might have a problem with this.

Exceptional

The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty abd huge. The owner could perfectly speak English and we had a nice conversation with awesome recommendations for a trip.

The only minus was a deposit of 500 € which had to be in cash. It was not very safe for us to take so much money in cash for our journey.

Amazing stay! Just make sure you read the conditions before booking

We were a little worried about the deposit and reading reviews on this property. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to a beautiful family apartment. This property was great value for money! The location is great. It is a 5 min walk to the nearest beach. Restaurants are nearby. It is a 20 min walk to the City Centre. There is a supermarket at the entrance and the bus stop is right outside. Breakfast was amazing! Really nice to enjoy it out on the deck in the morning.

There are very specific conditions to this property which are listed in the booking but make sure you actually read carefully before booking. They require a 500€ security deposit in cash upon arrival - you will get it back but it is a lot of money to have to hand over. You’re also only able to check in between 3-5pm. You’re not allowed to enter the property after 10pm during your stay. The owner will call on the morning of your arrival and outline this and encourage a free cancellation. Everything works out perfectly fine as long as you don’t take the free cancellation option. It’s definitely not a scam just make sure you read the conditions before booking to save hassle!

Friendly, modern, renovated apartment, good breakfast, friendly owners, by beach

I loved this place, very friendly family, beautiful apartment, perfect decor, comfortable bed, peaceful atmosphere, nice bathroom, beautiful sea view, wonderful breakfast, very helpful communication. There are also many beaches just at the end of the road - turn right and there is a beautiful path with little rocky coves you can go swimming, snorkeling. To the left many sandy beaches one after another. The nearest only 5 minutes walk. Bathroom and toilet just for guests (sometimes 1 set of guests, sometimes 2 sets). The owners live here but have their own section of the apartment.

It was all very good, no problems. I think the advert wording needs to be updated to truly reflect what this places is exactly and there need to be detailed photos of the bedroom etc. In reality it is better than the advert shows. But the owners explained that this is because it has been recently renovated, which is totally understandable.

Please read carefully to protect your money and save time!

Nothing. The property is apparently linked with several other ventures and names, which are known in connection with regular booking issues. I found multiple negative reviews on the internet across major booking and searching platforms which state that the ventures associated with the property nudged customers to cancel their existing reservations offering them free cancellation and still charging a cancellation fee. My personal experience lends support to the numerous negative reviews which I found here on booking.com and elsewhere.

I made a reservation for 1 night stay. After the reservation was confirmed, the property phoned me on my mobile and elaborated certain conditions of the reservation and details of the property which (as the host suggested) were not suitable for my travel plans. The host offered FREE cancellation, which offer we agreed upon during the call. The host instructed me to request free cancellation via Booking . com service. After I made the cancellation request, the property cancelled the reservation from their end. The host phoned and texted on my mobile few more times just to say “they are still working on the free cancellation”. However, my credit card was charged a full cost of the stay (which was not the last issue to mention – see below). My credit card was charged by a different business. I searched the French business register and found, that the credentials of the business which charged my card match the entity which was de-registered and removed from the business register in September 2021. There are numerous negative customer reviews in relation to the above businesses which describe various issues experienced by customers, including the abovementioned scenario: after the customer made reservation, the property phoned them and nudged to cancel offering free cancellation, but money still taken after the cancellation was processed. I would encourage anyone to make their own research anyway (before or instead of booking)!

Lovely quiet room with a private enclosed balcony with large windows where you can enjoy breakfast with views of the water. This is a family’s apartment that has been divided into two areas - their private quarters and then the other half has 2 rooms available to rent. A bathroom is shared between the guests in both rooms (private/non-communal style) and has the toilet separate room from the shower/sink room which is good if someone needs access to the toilet while another guest is using the sink/shower area. Hosts use a separate bathroom in their private quarters. Around the corner from the building is a small boat marina with nearby beaches/restaurants and a small supermarket in easy walking distance. Guests will likely receive a phone call from the owner prior to arrival, ensuring guests understand the accommodation type and the terms of the stay (curfew/security deposit). The couple who rent the rooms are amazing, friendly, and very caring. They even offered to get me care for an injury and upon departure, even carried my bag to the taxi since I was still having difficulty walking. Husband speaks English well, wife speaks French. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. I had no issues with payment or security deposit. The entrance is directly behind the sheltered bus stop - call on arrival and the owner will ensure you can find the correct door and give you access to the building.

Just be aware there are a few steps at the entrance and just before reaching the apartment, but an elevator is available in between, which is very common in Europe. Not an issue for most people - but could be problematic if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage.

Scammers

We liked the price, and the fact that this price included breakfast

We chose free cancellation and the option to pay at the hotel. But within a day, funds were withdrawn from the card without our permission. But the negativity did not end. When we arrived in Toulon on September 27, we called the accommodation and tried to arrange a late check-in. The manager refused us. We agreed to settle in for the day and started asking how to get to them. But he refused us again. He said they were down and said they canceled our booking. I explained to him that the money has already been paid, so we want to take a taxi now and come. We were in despair, because we do not have the possibility to search for a new reservation in the phone, and the computer was without Internet. I told the manager several times. that we have nowhere to spend the night. But he refused. finally he recommended an inexpensive hotel where we could spend the night. But his meanness knows no bounds. When trying to get a refund, he told the support service that we ourselves refused to stay because we wanted a late check-in. I showed the cashier's receipt that we paid to another hotel, which indicated the time - 1 p.m., and this is a fact. beware these are scammers.
