Nice peaceful place !

Over priced, poor service with no one in charge. The location was terrible! It was not on the beach, or near town or in the mountains, Totally isolated. The manager was never there, and left everything to one nice woman with no training. The service was bad. I was offered a “day surf package” for $320!!! The beer and wine were $9. I brought a bottle of wine from outside and was told I had to pay a corkage fee for 2 glasses. The hotel was maybe charming at one time long ago but is now in a steady state of ruin.

What makes the place a nice stay is the people who assist you at the place, the property is overpriced compared to other places around. It has a good pool, amazing beverages, the food is good it has everything you are looking.

The room and property are nice, but the customer service is a joke. I bought food from the hotel restaurant, but they did not have any deserts or liquor available. So I used Hugo to order a couple of desserts. When my Hugo order arrived, I was told by the hotel staff I was not allowed to bring outside food in and that I was only allowed to have the food they sold on their property.
I was never told about this on this site or when I checked in.
I am paying to stay at a hotel, and trying to enjoy my vacation. I will not be told by any hotel staff what I can or can not eat. Especially if they don't have the type of food, I am looking for available.
I book 50-100 nights a year in hotels, and this by far has been the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Highly over priced. No WiFi in the rooms, no phones in rooms which made the experience extremely terrifying. If it wasn't because I was able to get a prepaid phone and walkie-talkies during this trip I don't know how I would of made it. The number they have listed is disconnected. I feared for the safety of my family. Power and water went out both nights!! Even with power the nights were very dark. The kitchen was out of a lot of things, but the staff did what they could. Lovely staff. The manager was rude and kept lurking around, especially when using the pool. Gross!! The fridge in both rooms weren't working. Also it stinked like death! But the staff was amazing!!! Really hard working people. I hope these owners appreciate them because without them it would of been worst.
Unfortunately I booked for 2 nights and they didn't want to cancel my second night. Horrible!! I think for locals this is a great experience. However if you don’t know the area I suggest somewhere else. Rooms are comfortable but dark and ominous outside the back patios. Room have many access so you don’t know if someone goes inside. Again, safety was my mayor concern since there were no phones available.

Pros: Very cute and charming place! Rooms are big and spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely amazing. Especially, their prawns in a coconut sauce!
Cons: There is no hot water. A mini fridge was not working at our room and they charge extra $1 for each glass of ice which is a bit ridiculous.
Overall a nice and quit place and we would be happy to return back.
