Dos noches en Vik

Es un alojamiento muy acogedor y además cuenta con un pequeño buffet para el desayuno, cosa que se agradece. La ubicación es genial para moverte por los alrededores y ver sitios preciosos

La habitación era un poco pequeña y había que hacer maniobras con las maletas.

A very pleasant & friendly place to stay.

Considering the guesthouse is quite small, the breakfast quality and variety was very nice. The host (a young man from Poland) was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Goede locatie, duur verblijf.

Zeer goede locatie voor excursies en wandelingen in Vik, wandelafstand. Badkamers met douche op de verdieping waren ruim en goed onderhouden. Gezellige zit- en ontbijtruimte.

Het gebouw is verouderd en heeft een opfrissing nodig. We hadden kamer op gelijkvloers met (gedeeld) toilet naast de ontbijtkamer. Gedeelde douche op de verdieping. Ontbijt was basic maar voldoende. Te veel betaald voor wat je krijgt.

迷你家具配迷你房间，只有一把椅子，房价太贵不配；有一条浴巾已经泛黄；需要脱鞋进门，感觉整个楼栋没有生气；需要自提行李上二楼，年事高的慎订；地下厨房有微波炉、烧水壶、冰箱、杯子等，没有电炉，只有一把椅子，没有餐桌，站着吃！

Pleasant stay. Wish the check in time can be a bit earlier.

The room is comfortable and clean. Staffs are friendly. Convenient location. Has a shared kitchen, though can only boil water, not really cooking.

Not used to taking off shoes once inside. The shared kitchen can only be used to boil water, cannot really cook anything. Check in time of 5PM is a bit too late.

Lovely bed and breakfast and great value for the area.

The room was lovely with great views up to the church in Vik, The location to walk to town was great. The breakfast was lovely with a great choice. The hosts were lovely. This was my favourite stay over our 9 nights of travel.

B&B consigliato per chi e' di passaggio a Vik

Camera piccola ma calda, pulita e comoda per una notte di passaggio a Vik. Parcheggio gratuito disponibile davanti la struttura. Molto buona la colazione. Inoltre, abbiamo apprezzato molto il piccolo chiosco di crepes proprio davanti la struttura. Ottimo rapporto qualita'/prezzo.

Bagno privato molto grande, ma non riscaldato.

Home away from home

I arrived late & was able to self check-in. This is such a special warm place, I instantly felt like visiting my dear aunt or dear uncle. The rooms have decor, artwork on the walls, "human home" furniture (as opposed to cold and faceless usual hotel furniture). Location is fantastic - I could see the Vik church from my window & wake up to Icelandic sunrise! The room was spacious, quiet, warm, with books(!), artwork, had its own sink and mirror if you need to brush your teeth, drink water. And there is shower on the ground (1st) & first (2nd) floor. You even take off your shoes in the house which we do at home in my country but not always in the hotels, I really enjoyed it there - felt home away from home. Breakfast had options usual for Icelandic stays + some fun things like herring in a sauce (loved it!), home baked cookies (delicious!), jam, something else I don't remember but it was lovely. The host was a very nice and polite young man who was very kind and helpful during breakfast, helped me with my questions and was very hospitable. There is free parking on premises. Highly highly recommended for nice people - because this nice place deserves only nice ones. Much love & I hope to come again! <3

Family stopover in Vik

Friendly staff, clean bathrooms and toilets, nice selection for Breakfast. Good to be able to use the kitchen and Dining area with some games, guitar, etc provided.

This is a lovely place and we would recommend and book again.

The traditional house is lovely. The rooms are a good size and there was a bathroom for two rooms on our floor. The breakfast in the morning was great. This is very good value for money considering it is in Vik which is always very busy.

Excelent location with available parking. Very easy self check-in. Included breakfast also makes start of the day easier. Room is clean and tidy with everything you need. Gueshouse is closed to all attractions in Vik. Definitely 100%recommend.

Homey atmosphere

Emilio was a perfect host, with helpful recommendations. Also, since we were the first check-ins of the day, we got a room on the first floor, saving us from going up or down the stairs.

Very cozy and clean, with friendly welcome and comfy beds, situated in a very picturesque village near the sea. Each room had a small sink which reduced the use of the bathroom. We slept so well.

Great location, at the entrance of Vik. Hospitable staff. Ok beds.

We knew it, but still the basement rooms were a bit unwelcoming. The no shoes policy provided some difficulties. Not enough room to hang/place your clothes in the room.

The outlets in our room used some strange format called Magic and I had to use an adapter I found in the hallway.

Average stay at an amazing town

Free parking on site. There was a small communal kitchen for use. Breakfast was adequate. The bathroom was pretty good.

The bed linen was not good. Our room was in the basement. The floor was carpeted but was not properly cleaned. Spotted insects roaming about.

Location was great- parking lot but walkable to everything in Vik. The beds were lovely as was breakfast.

We were a bit far from the shared bathroom which was inconvenient during the night.

Very nice host, clean room, comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom. Good wifi and parking right in front of the house. Location is perfect, very close to the center of town. Breakfast was amazing!
