Good weekend

Pub with rooms so not quiet
2.0 / 5.0
It was cheap and cheerful, only downside I could see there was no parking at the facilities but centrally located in the centre of Bridlington which made it very accessible to all the amenities Bridlington had to offer. Our room was at the back overlooking a wall where there were plenty of Seagulls which kept us awake other than that it was a very pleasant stay and would consider staying there again.

It was a nice place to put your head down for the night

Great place to stay with easy access to the town centre and local attractions. The building is very old and has been sensitively modernised. As an old building, it was very hot during my stay, so the inclusion of a family was very welcome. I had a nice compact bathroom and the room had all I needed. There was a stain on the duvet, but this didn't spoil my stay. Staff were very helpful and polite. A good budget option and I would definitely stay again!

Great for a night or two, good location for town and beach, staff were friendly and helpful. It's a pub so expect a bit of noise especially at weekends, I stayed on a Monday so was pretty quiet. Overall room was comfy and clean

Lovely welcome.

There are no good things to say really. Room 9 .Filthy carpet, cheap beds, pillows and quilts. No hot water to get washed, dirty shower cubicle also dirty. Noisy from karaoke in the pub and also from a nearby pub that had a live band on. Expensive bar prices. We could not wait to check out and will not be staying here again

Exactly what was advertised good base for Bridlington, full refurb coming in November.

From having to put in Driving Licence details to check in, then arrival having to give my address and car reg- the latter I refused as there is no parking at the hotel. It was noisy from the bar below, only a ceiling light, thin curtains so as soon as it was light I was up and coupled with the street noise outside. The carpet is old and stained in the room. Then told I had paidon leaving but showed the receipt from 'check in'. I am trying to think of worse 'hotel' or customer service in my experience and cannot.

The room was quite dated but functional for what we needed and great location to the Spa. The staff there are fabulous. So friendly and made us so welcome. Yes we would return

The room was very small. Poorly decorated wall paper falling from the ceiling. You couldn't see through the window because of dirt and bird excrement. The floor sloped from one side of the room making the headboard about 3 inches higher than the foot end. There was a big hole in the wall where the door had hit it. The carpet was dirty and there was a toe nail on a set of draws. The bed was supposed to be a double but wss more like a 3/4. We ended up only getting around 2.5 - 3 hrs sleep and ended up leaving at 06.00 . This property definitely needs a visit from the hotel inspector. We will not be returning.

Sooo the room was absolutely stifling hot. There was no air. We were in a room with a boiler . Even with the window and fan we couldnt breath. We went home at 11pm.

Great location, staff very helpful.
I stayed in room 10 which has an electric box that makes a continuous ticking sound, thought I wouldn't get to sleep and struggled to. Between that and early morning seagulls, probably got 5 hours sleep.

Received a warm welcome on arrival despite the bar been busy. Nice sized room. Received a message from the hotel saying I left my watch which was left behind the bar. 100% booking again for next year

Potentially the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life. The service was awful! They completely misunderstood the booking system. You can hear ever single guest as the walls are like paper. A staff member barged into my room on my second night at 10am insisting I had missed check out - when I still had another night left. The whole pub smells of old ale! If you are coming from a civilised place DO NOT STAY here! You’ll be stunned at how incompetent people can be!

The room was boiling hot, it was so stuffy and horrible. Even opening the window or turning the fan on made no difference. Very bad nights sleep

Simple but cheap

No meals provided as proprietor has found people prefer to eat out in the evenings and get up too late for breakfast.I was advised to use the plentiful local cafes. I got a single room at a very inexpensive rate. Comfortably warm, temp. adjustable. Good clean bed, carpet stained and a few repairs needed: catch to door from shower room into bedroom sticks shut, had to use my hip to get out. You get what you pay for, Would go again.

We had a great stay, last minute bed needed as our car broke down, parking isn't on site but only a couple of minutes walk to the harbourmasters carpark £1 alright till 8am you really can't complain.the room was nice, clean and warm and going down in the bar for a drink the welcome was the warmest from a lovely young lady behind the bar,we really felt like it was our local from the very start.thanks guys for a warm and friendly stay at your establishment,we will recommend you to everyone 🙂👍👍👍👍

Very clean, tidy and comfortable rooms with great staff...

Mould in shower booth, shower unit loose, shower bar loose, fixtures hanging off wall, hole in wall where self closer on door had banged into it. Sheets filthy, I took photos of the above I am amazed you recommend them 😡

I stayed for one night. The staff were polite and welcoming. The room was clean and beds comfortable enough but the decor was tired looking in the room and bar therefore I thought it was a bit overpriced.

They had tried to present a clean room but were let down by small edges of mould in grout of shower tray and elderly paint work doors and skirting board
Toilet smelt, stain on carpet, beds a bit basic but ok
Staff pleasant and helpful

The property is a pub with rooms, and not of the cosy inn variety. It’s a lively pub which had karaoke on when I checked in about 4pm (at the bar)
I booked quite late and therefore I may not have received the best choice of room. I didn’t see the others to compare. Mine was overlooking a dirty sloping roof, full of pigeon poo and cigarette butts.
Due to the unexpectedly hot weather, the sun had been pouring in all day and the room was more of a sauna than a bedroom. Not helped that the fan couldn't cool down a fly. Even on top speed, with me standing in front of it, my hair didn’t move.
The room itself was very small which didn’t help with the heat. It also wasn’t possible to keep the window open at night due to the seagulls.
The bathroom was tiny and the shower a little grubby, however it was a good shower, powerful and with lots hot water.
If you just need a bed for a night, in a central location and you’re not planning on spending much time there, then it’s ok. If you’re planning a break by the sea, I’d avoid, unless it’s really cheap.
Unfortunately my stay wasn’t which didn’t help matters.

The hotel is not fit for purpose. The rooms are very much below standard for £70 per night. The cleanliness of the room is very poor, stained mattress, bedding that could be 20 years old. The carpet has so many stains I didn’t want to take my shoes off. I slept on top of a towel and used another towel to cover the pillow.

Cheap & cheerful place. A couple of scuffs on the walls. Nothing major. Lovely tiled en suite. Carpet had stains on it but overall you can accept a couple if flaws when looking at the price. Would stay again. Cleanliness of bedding & facilities was where it needed to be. So no problems. Pub staff & customers were friendly. Parking could be an issue.
