Place was absolutely beautiful and the owners and staff were the best! It’s literally around the corner from all the shopping and restaurants and we were walking around till late at night and felt safe with the rest of the crowd. I tried to upload more pictures but it says it exceeds size.

By far one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. Everywhere you look there is something beautiful. Art, furniture, lighting, and more. The owner is a gem and speaks excellent English. The location is perfect for easy walk to wonderful restaurants, art galleries, and more. I would go back again and again if I could.

The host was extremely helpful and nice. Awesome breakfast. I felt very safe here and it was so close to all the shops and restaurants. The Hacienda is like an art gallery. The pieces are extraordinary.

This was by far one of the best properties we have experienced in Mexico, more like visiting friends. The small hotel is just what you might imagine a traditional hacienda. Lovely Mexican art fills the common areas. Terrific breakfast and the hosts go out of there way to make your Guadalajara stay just what you want. Can’t wait to return.

Very accommodating, original concern was safety. However, there was security on property, very quaint, and calm environment. Host was very nice and hospitable, and they really like to know there guests to provide the best service. Plenty of things to do around like restaurants and shopping.

One of the most beautiful boutique hotel’s I’ve stayed in. It’s like spending a night at a museum with great hospitality and comfort. Owners will share their passion in detail of decor throughout the hotel, lots of local and Mexican traditional art in the building and rooms.

Very nice small hotel that could pass for a museum inside. Gorgeous art works of various kinds. The owner/manager couple are very personable and wonderfully attentive to guests

We stayed at Casa Morales twice, first for two days and then for one more the week following. In both instances we reserved a queen room. Our first visit we were upgraded to a king on the second floor. This room was excellent. On our return trip we were downgraded to a double. Not only was this not what we reserved, we were charged the same amount for what was a worse room. This room was on the main floor right by the entrance--almost all windows looked out into common spaces and you heard the noise of every guest coming and going. The quality of the room and the fact that it was less than we reserved was disappointing. The hotel owner handled the situation a bit awkwardly.
Otherwise, the hotel is beautiful, especially the lovely and peaceful garden. And the breakfast was exceptional. If you reserve a king on the second floor (make sure they honor your reservation) you will have a great stay. I would avoid the double room listed.

Was looking for relaxation and walking distance from Tlaquepaque’s Centro, and this location did not disappoint. The online pictures do not describe the beauty of this property. The staff is beyond friendly, always felt safe and comfortable. No doubt we will stay here in the near future!

Beautiful hotel, amazing hospitality, delicious breakfast served in the morning. Our room faced the street so it was very loud and found it hard to sleep well throughout the night. Aside from the street noise, it was a 10/10 stay. Would highly recommend this hotel. The grounds are gorgeous and the hotel owners are so helpful and kind. We loved our stay here very much.

What's not to like about this place? It is an art museum, filled with original Mexican art, and also quite a number of modern paintings. All very beautiful, also the little garden, which felt like an oasis, after walking around the streets. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and always willing to accommodate any requests. The location is also great, as it is in a quiet small street, within walking distance of the center of Tlaquepaque, and many of the nearby restaurants and art galleries.
I can only recommended staying in Casa Morales if anyone finds themselves in Tlaquepaque.

I fell completely in love with this hotel. The pictures don't do this place any justice. The owners were so friendly and made us feel right at home. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again.

What a beautiful hacienda! The hostess, Esther and her husband are amazing. So welcoming. Everywhere you look is absolutely amazing. The art, Esther curates, is incredible. There is a story for every single piece and it was wonderful to get a tour and have Esther talk about a lot of the pieces. The breakfast is delicious. I really felt like I was visiting family in their big home. What a treat!

Casa Morales is a true gem at Tlatepaque. This boutique bed and breakfast is like a museum. Edna and Larry, our host have a passion for art and their place is decorated with beautiful paintings, pottery and artifacts. Breakfast was included and the cook there made us authentic Mexican dishes, which was delicious. Larry told us stories about his journey to creating Casa Morales, and told us great tips in navigating the area. We were not expecting the wonderful hospitality from Larry and his wife as this was our first bed and breakfast.

This hotel is GORGEOUS. The owners, Ester and Larry, have filled it with art from around Mexico and welcomed us in warmly. I cannot express how beautiful the property is, my friend and I felt like we were walking through a museum. We had a made to order, breakfast in the morning. And we got great tips for stores, galleries, and restaurants to visit in Tlaquepaque. The rooms are also beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and bathroom. Overall, we had an amazing time and I really hope to come back one day. I'm recommending the place to all my friends.

Casa Morales is an absolute gem. We stayed here one night after several daysin Mexico City before heading north in Jalisco to a wedding. It was such a beautiful place that we hardly wanted to leave! My partner commented that it was like staying in a museum. Each room was appointed with beautiful, unique art - paintings, woodwork, ceramics, etc. The bed was *very* comfortable and the food at breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed talking with Esther, the owner. I would return just to stay at Casa Morales!
