Further afield you can enjoy exploring more of North Devon and all its attractions such as Exmoor National Park, home of the first ‘Dark Sky Reserve’ in Europe, Valley of the Rocks, the many rugged coastal towns and quaint villages such as Lynton & Lynmouth, Ilfracombe, Hartland and the world-famous Clovelly Village – all with awe-inspiring scenery. And there are plenty of family-oriented places to visit including Exmoor Zoo, Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep farm-themed park, Watermouth Castle family theme park and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park plus many others. For visitors seeking a piece of Devon life then the main towns of Barnstaple and Bideford provide the opportunity to wander during their weekly pannier markets.
