Make sure the room isn't double booked before travel!

When the room was changed at short noticed, it was a clean room. I am also grateful to the owner for sourcing alternative accommodation when the room was double booked but not so much for how he has handled the stress and inconvenience caused!

I arrived to find the room already occupied. Had to call the owner to find the room had been double booked. This was 2pm, I was due at Wembley at 3pm. It wasn't until 9pm that an alternative accommodation was sourced, 5 miles away. I had to leave the concert, go back to Wembley Rooms then pay to get across to Cricklewood to the alternative address. The owner had agreed to refund the taxi fare plus half the booking cost (£79.60 in total). I have this in writing. He has refunded £65.00 and is now ignoring my messages. I had promised that if he fulfilled his end of the agreement I would give a much better review but as he hasn't I am giving an honest assessment. The rooms were functional but not spectacular. The communication was sparse. The bed in Cricklewood was so short that at 5ft 10in my feet hung over the bed. The owner had offered a free nights stay the next time I was in London (about £120). I asked for £55 back and had it agreed but have now been short changed. Avoid at all costs, I have scored because at least I didn't end up on the streets but could have been handled MUCH better!

Chambre près de Wembley.

L hôte à été réactif quant aux informations sur son logement Entrée dans les lieux L environnement près du stade est plutôt propice.

Les voisins qui lavent et bricolent leurs autos à 23h jusque 01h du matin. L hôte n'y ai pour rien mais vraiment dérangeant. La propreté des sanitaires communs est décevante Poils et urine partout pas de cuvette à toilettes. Frigo commun pour toutes les chambres sauf la notre no 6 Bien pour une nuit en dépannage mais pas au delà.

Really good value for money . Rooms were clean all we wanted for an over night stay . Location was good close the tube .

Great location for Wembley events, BUT SHARED BATHROOMS!!

Great location for Wembley conferences, but the photos look too great for reality!! # coded entrance to the house and the rooms.

SHARED BATHROOM!!! ...and it was NOT mentioned in the description details, just the shared kitchen! If I knew that, I would not have booked this place! 6 rooms are using two bathrooms on each floor! I haven't done that since college! And it was dirty, used by others (obviously men) as well, so it was incredibly uncomfortable and disgusting as well! I was soooo disappointed 😞! The photos are too great, the place was renewed about 10 years (according to the style) and it has been pretty much used since then....

Really great stay and would happily go back

The location was great for a game we we watching at Wembley, easy access and very comfortable room/bed

We couldn’t seem to get the shower temperature to stay at one level, it was either freezing cold or scolding hot

Staff was super helpful trying to solve the issues happened. Rooms and furnitures are as shown in photos.

Location is good, and check-in could be done in a very efficient/quick way. We stayed for 3 nights and there was an electrical issue in the last one that got us without power during some hours. Owners were super helpful and they agreed to reimburse the night because of these issues.

As it is a house rent by rooms, anything could be heard from other rooms. We did not feel comfortable due to some neighbors in other rooms that were not in the coolest condition.

Was okay location was great for what we needed

The location and price was very good

The access with getting into the hotel, sometimes the code didn’t always work I had to keep putting it in over and over again, tried ringing the number provided but didn’t answer

Safety concerns. No sleep due to loud music and arguing. Messaged host but done nothing as offsite

Location - shops, food and Wembley arena all in walking distance.

Safety, comfort, no staff on site to enforce rules, shared kitchen has a time frame on use.

It was comfortable

The property was surprisingly cozy, everything was clean and presentable, the beds in particular were nice to sleep in so despite being far from home we all slept well :)

Not much to complain about besides the exposed electrical socket in our room but it was easy enough to avoid as there were other electrical sockets to use

Location good, parking good, but not cleaned and electrics dangerous.

Location was good. Wasn’t too expensive. Good that we could park on the drive.

We got electrocuted several times by dodgy electrics. When we got to our room the towels had not been washed or changed and neither had the bedding. We had to do it ourselves. Not clear in the listing that this is 12 rooms all sharing the same kitchen. Just says shared kitchen, not specific enough. Guy turned up to park on the drive saying he had paid to park there, had to let them block our car in. Garden patio falling apart and dangerous.

It was good value and very well located for our convention at the ovo arena

It was practical for our needs with shared kitchen facilities

The room was very hot if we did not draw the curtains before we went out, the afternoon sun really heated the room up making it difficult to sleep even with a fan

Fantastic

We came down for the Rugby challenge cup at Wembley. The location was spot on. 5 minute walk to the stadium. The room was clean and spacious and the beds were comfy. Also we had a parking space at the property which was a bonus.

Nothing at all, we didn't stay and booked another hotel.

Where do I start? The area is quite run down as is the property. The main security door was open on arrival. We were in room 1, and we put in the code for the door, which was supposed to open outwards, which got stuck on a thick rug. After moving the rug to open the door we took a look inside, no locks on the inside of the door, no soaps in the bathroom, a cracked sink and a very cheap mattress on the bed, a real feeling of shoddyness. The main concern was that it was secure and if there had been a fire there isn't a fire rated door and if the rug in the hallway had beeb replaced close to our door we would struggle to get out safely. After shutting the main door, it was once again left open, which was obviously all the time because there were puddles of water in the porch. I have stayed in accommodation of a similar price with much better facilities, I would never book again. Thankfully, we managed to book a hotel closer to the stadium, which felt much safer.

Vast room for improvement.

Handy for Wembley Stadium railway station. Good Chinese restaurant a short walk.

Room didn't have what it said it would have (washing machine, tea/coffee maker). The garden view was an overgrown garden and an ashtray overflowing wig ciggy ends. The porch of the property flooded when it rained. Not even a TV in the room.

location was good and it was clean.

shared bathroom. we weren’t prepared for that. Also toilet was in a separate room from sink and shower room. while towels were provided we were lucky to have our own shampoo, body wash, and wash cloths. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

No water supply and No reply regarding this matter!

The owner allowed early babbage drop off at 1pm while check in at 3pm. It helped to plan our travel.

The door code is wrong in the WhatsApp message, but the owner came to the house to give us a new code at the end. There is no water supply in the check out morning! Both the room and the kitchen. The owner didn’t reply when I message her. So I left without a shower or not even brush my teeth!

The location is good, 15 minutes walk to the underground, there are shops around. The kitchen is big, has things for cooking as well as lots of plates and cutlery. Not many people use it, so you are comfortable cooking your food there. The heating worked well in the room, which was quite helpful considering April weather.

The shower was bad, didn’t regulate properly and the water wasn’t hot. The hairdryer didn’t work well.
