Excellent value and location

Our room was very modern and clean with a comfy king-size bed. Very quiet for sleeping. Optional breakfast was good at £10 per person. Railway station just around the corner, a 4 minute walk. Lovely bar open until 10pm. Lots of parking and very near main bus route. Would stay here again if in the area.

Television was quite small.

Hidden gem

Fantastic wee hotel. Immaculate room and really comfy bed, has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was stunning and well presented. Only thing that would make this better would be larger TV in rooms, other than that simply fantastic.

Very small tv in the room. Wouldn’t normally bother me but footie was on.

Dunfermline's hidden gem

What an amazing little find this place is...a real hidden gem for anyone looking for a quiet night away. Stayed here as a base what a cracking place it is. Rooms are spotless, breakfast is fantastic and Bret the owner is just brilliant...nothing was to much trouble for him. Definitely definitely recommend this place

Pleasant one night stay with wonderful breakfast

Good location, bedroom and en-suite all newly refurbished. Breakfast was excellent quality and value. Owner Alan was very pleasant and helpful. Plenty of free parking on location.

Very nice place and staff pleasant.

Reception, room, facilities breakfast and parking all very good. Nice quiet area and with in easy reach of main roads, shops and motorways.

The drive way into and out of the property is pretty narrow.

Warm welcome. Beautifully presented and exceptionally clean.

I had a lovely warm welcome after a very long journey. The room was beautifully presented, modern and exceptionally clean.

Only a small gripe but the noise from above was quite loud, as was the sound of people walking past the room late at night and very early in the morning along with the noise of slamming doors.

Quiet little gem!

Very friendly staff who are happy to assist with anything, lovely clean room, easy to access and no problem finding it. Would definitely return to stay again!

I would prefer a slightly larger TV in the room, but that's me and it doesn't take anything away from the stay.

Staying at The Old Mill was great.

Stayed at the old Mill to go to Edinburgh for the rugby at murrayfield, very close to the railway station & great value will definitely use the old mill again,

Gorgeous setting fantastic quality breakfast very friendly.

The Breakfast was extra but well worth the money, it was all top quality food and the host couldn't do enough to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I would certainly stay here again.

we loved everything about the property! Alan, owner, was very welcoming on arrival and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next day was excellent and great value for money

Lovely big clean rooms.

Room 1, was awoken at 3am with someone coming into room next door. Could hear coming in front door as slammed it shut. Along corridor and passed our door. When he went into his room you could hear everything even going to the toilet.😬 That was us awake after this.

Wonderful Family-Run Place With An Amazing Breakfast!

We had a great stopover stay at Auld Mill House Hotel! The owner is an absolute joy to talk to and has a wealth of knowledge of what is happening in the city. He makes you feel right at home! On a tip from him we were able to snag some of the last tickets available for the Red Hot Chilli Pipers as well as see a cool little pub! Breakfast was made fresh and was the best we have had on our entire trip. I’d not hesitate to book a room here again on future trips!

Just that we did not stay here more than one night! :)
