Nice new hotel with complimentary breakfast.

Would definitely stay again, it was great!

My kids loved breakfast. I would've loved allergen options (all I could eat was the oatmeal) or had the opportunity to request them in advance before our stay. But this was one of the best stays we've had in years and the customer service was top notch!

The smell of the room smelled of bug spray but a plug-in fixed that right away

Good except the destruction of wildlife which is illegal

Nice place, nice staff

The fact that the place is literally built right in the middle of a marshy area and the company had the nerve to knock down very active nests of the swallows that have been in the area long long before people were. Very disheartening!!! Leave the damn birds alone

Gute Ausstattung, Frühstück war ausreichend, freundlicher Empfang

Zimmer wurde in 4 Tagen nicht 1 mal richtig gereinigt. Auf Anfrage gab es einmal frische Handtücher u. die Entleerung des Mülls. Völlig inakzeptabel!

Winery tour

There were few shopping facilities and restaurants around this hotel, but we could stay clean and quiet. Our room was spacious and there was no problem for my family(2adults, 2kids), and it was helpful that there was a large refrigerator and a mini kitchen.

I told the front desk about the lack of amenities, unfortunately the service was slow. Then I had to go to the front desk and tell them what we needed to do again, and they dealt with it at that time.

Wonderful experience! We will definitely be coming back!

My mom is using a walker and they conveniently gave us a room close to the elevator. The room and facilities were clean. The kitchenette was a plus and blessing to have. Staff was absolutely wonderful. Continental Breakfast was by far the best and cleanest we have ever experienced. Close to shopping and food. Thank you!!!

Great hotel, location and breakfast.

Great location, near freeway and a very short drive to downtown. Staff was great at sharing what to do in the area. Great breakfast options.

We were on the third floor, so there were guests above our room. Two nights from 7:30 till about midnight, whoever was above us was stomping from one side of the room to the other. This went on nonstop. We were trying to go to sleep, but couldn’t because of the noise. I called front desk to see if they could help. I don’t think they did anything, or the guest didn’t care because it kept going and started again at 6:30 AM. It was difficult to sleep.

Perfect for business trip

Comfortable space to work, with partition between sleeping space. Great kitchen with dishes, utensils, prep & heating area.

Nice spot to stay.

Room layout was great for a small family. Efficient and comfortable. Tasteful decor. Has a couch and nice views from upper floors.

Sheets are polyester. Could have more comfy cotton bedding for the price. Breakfast area was too small for how many people were eating, hard to get a seat.

It was decent enough, not my usual up to par stay but still my favorite hotel stay.

I love Home2 Suites set up. Everything I usually need in one place. Amazing breakfast and staff were welcoming.

The accessible bathroom did not have a shower seat, but they brought me one. The remote control didn’t work, went and got new batteries and it still didn’t work. Manager came to our room I believe he changed out the remote, I couldn’t really pay attention I was too busy ironing a shirt with a towel over the ironing board cause it didn’t have one.

hotel is nice - charges - not so good

I rate the hotel in this manner due to the charges that have not been cleared up. If the charges get cleared up - the rating would be good. But I don't feel I should have to take the time out to get this fixed. It should have been done while I was there. I was double charged for my rooms and it has not been resolved. In addition, I was charged more than what booking. com quoted me. This is the first time in using booking.com that this has happened. The staff told me it was their "new system" - but no one has contacted me and it is like they are not working on it.

A Nice Option in Petaluma

The hotel is new, clean and with a full range of amenities. My room was quite spacious, bed comfortable, good WiFi and a well equipped kitchenette. The window opened a crack, allowing some fresh air in the room. Breakfast was fine and there was half and half for the coffee.

A couple of minor items: There is a permanent fan running the bathroom and main room—not too noisy but still not my favorite background. The carpets were off-gassing with a new carpet smell. There was a ‘message’ light flashing on the in-room phone and when I called the desk the clerk said he didn’t know anything about it and wasn’t much concerned, so I had to cover it with a curtain so it didn’t flash at me all night. The front desk should know how to turn off such a light.

Overall, clean and comfortable, would absolutely stay here again.

We got in kind of late in the evening and the two gentlemen at the front desk were super friendly and got us checked in quickly. We went out for the evening and when we got back around 11 pm, the doors to the lobby were locked which was unexpected. We saw the sign to use our key card so it wasn't a big deal but a heads up that the doors get locked would have been cool just so we weren't caught off guard, although we really liked the safety feature, especially considering we were on the first floor. Overall the room was really clean and comfortable, having a mini kitchen was nice too since we were able to make hot tea the next morning while still in our jammies. The bed itself was comfy but the pillows were a little thin and were hard to get fluffed up enough to feel like we had good head support. But literally, that's the only thing I could complain about if I had to choose something. We would definitely stay here again.

That we were lazy and didn't get going fast enough to try the continental breakfast, it looked good.

Horrible customer service. They couldn’t find my reservation through booking.com. I was double charged for my room on the second day of my stay and still waiting for a refund. Front desk responded when made an inquiry by saying there was a glitch in their system.

Living the dream

Everything really. The room was very comfortable. It had everything that we could have possibly needed. It was very clean. The location was very convenient for us. We had come to town to go to the Lagunitas brewery and it was right down the street. The next day we were heading to Sonoma Plaza and it wasn't too far to get there. The staff was available and ready to assist with anything that we asked for. The fire pits and grills were a nice touch but we didn't get to enjoy them this time. My husband and I loved this place and we would stay here or at another Home2 Suites in a heart beat. Oh, and we also took advantage of the laundry facilities there in the building that were available for a charge.

Only very minor things. No view, but that was expected. I think that there were rooms with nicer views, but we didn't pay the extra to get one since we knew that we would be arriving after dark and leaving fairly early in the morning. The waffle maker at breakfast could have used some instructions. We had to learn through another guest how to operate it and there were others that didn't know as well so we had to share the info with them.

Unpleasant. Excessive freeway noise. Lousy bed linens.

Polyester sheets and bedding? Really? Horrible. More sound proofing needed in rooms adjacent to freeway. If in the Petaluma area again, will not stay at Home2 Suites.

Might return. The room was very nice , bed comfy.

Good quality. Location nice. Scrambled eggs luke warm.

Requested replacement bath linens but didn't receive. Staff at the front desk was lukewarm like the eggs; didn't seem cordial or very interested in impressing guests. Just sat and chatted with each other or looked down.

Home comforts away from home.

Had a king suite and it was perfect size for our family. Kids really enjoyed the breakfast and pool too. The barbecue equip on hand is cool too and made me wish I brought something to grill for dinner.

Sofa bed had dirty sheets, but staff provided clean sheets abs extra pillows right away.
