Amazing

Amazing location. Beautiful and comfortable bungalow. Deli food. We have been here many times over the past few years and we always love it. Francis was lovely and helpful and took great care of us.

It would be nice to have a kiddies menu available. A small pool for kids will also be great due to the fact that the ocean is so wild. We missed the hammocks and the security boxes in the rooms that were there before.

Perfección

This place was everything I hoped for and more. Excellent location on a beautiful beach that was not crowded at all - we practically had it to ourselves. Loved stepping out of the room and having the ocean just a few steps away. The bungalow was super cute and spacious, with both indoor sleeping area and covered outdoor lounging area and hammock. Absolutely loved the open-air bathroom and shower. All the staff were so kind and beyond accommodating, even setting up tables and chairs for us to have breakfast on the beach. Breakfast was delicious (the cayeye was amazing!), and we also enjoyed lunch and dinner, and cocktails, from the hotel restaurant at reasonable prices. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

As some people have mentioned, the property is right off the highway, so you can sometimes hear trucks rumbling by, especially if you’re in the restaurant, and especially at night. However, as someone who is from a city, this seemed minor and inconsequential, and anyways from our bungalow I only heard the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. I would also recommend bringing (and using) bug spray. There are mosquito nets over the beds, and we didn’t see any mosquitos in the bungalow, but at dusk on the beach we did end up getting a number of bites that didn’t really start to itch until later. Not sure if they were from mosquitos or something else, but either way they were annoying.

Be aware that the main road is just next to this resort, and the traffic can be quite loud.

Stay in Palomino instead of in a cabana next to the road

Breakfast

A long story but we booked and paid for a beach front cabana and got a smaller one next to it (they are semi-detached so you don’t get a private one). It was booked when we arrived and they gave us a smaller cabana with no sea view and it was not on the beach front. Staff spoke not a word of English so explained in our best Spanisg that this was not acceptable. They didn’t offer any discount, nada niente. We left the next day and found an excellent Airbnb in Palomino on the beach and with a swimming pool (a bonus since you cannot swim in the sea and casalina doesn’t even have one). Still waiting for a refund of Booking.com even though we can proof we did not get what we paid for. Crap customer service so still need to go after then. Our advice? Go into Paloyand book a noce teal beach hotel or airbnb and almost all of them have a swimming pool and a REAL beach front view!

Oasis of peace & calm next to the ocean

Exceptional breakfast. First row to the ocean. Kind staff. It's a real oasis of peace & tranquility. 10 min by tuk-tuk to the city center of Palomino.

The WIFI was really bad. You can hear large trucks/buses passing the road above the resort.

Best experience in an eco-paradise.

The place was very beautiful, It has a micro climate so fresh, and with a lot of nature all around. The staff is very charming from the reservation to the farewell. The place is secure, and I took 3 bungalows for my family. The food is so good. Really very good. We tasted almost all the different dishes and we are very grateful to the kitchen staff, all were fresh, and they know how to keep you and your family healthy. We were in the hotel 6 days and all was OK.

Everything was great, nothing to write here.

Beautiful and quiet place with a few great huts, overlooking the garden and then the beach.

Beautiful and quiet place with a few nice huts, overlooking the garden and then the beach. Breakfast was ok, but dinner was great! Staff is very friendly and helped us with picking out some tours. We were able to do some laundry which was needed. The bathroom was adjacent (outside but private) the hut and the whole place was idyllic.

Great place to relax for 2-3 days in a beautiful place….. but be aware of the noise of the road.

Beautiful B&B bungalows in a great garden area with a direct access to the beach for your own. Only 6 bungalows so very quite. The staff does everything to give you an excellent stay. If you need to go to Palomino you can easily go to the road and raise your hand once a bus comes along.

The road…… it’s a petty that this beautiful location is in between the beach and the very busy road. Lots of trucks and busses use this road. Even the waves of the ocean are not loud enough to ignore this.

Perfect welcome to Colombia

The staff were amazing - so friendly and helpful and looked after us so well. the location on a private beach and the palm gardens with fairy lights at night were beautiful. great value for money - would love to come back!

Lovely.

The bungalows, gardens, and facilities are charming, made with local materials and excellent taste. The food was excepcional.

beautiful property, the staff is amazing and friendly and the food was good too!

it doesn’t have a pool and the beach is not particularly ideal for bathing, so having a pool would make a big difference! there was an underground pop up party happening in the lot next to the hotel, although fun for a bit, we didn’t get much sleep since the party ended around 8am the next day and our room was the closest to it

not all the rooms have Ari conditioned, although booking says they do. there is no pool, which feels needed since the ocean is too strong to really swim in it.

Simply outstanding. I want to come back with more friends and family to enjoy more of this place.

I really liked that you feel a lot of peace and tranquility in this place, the service by the employees of the place was excellent. I did not need to leave the place at any time, everything I needed was provided by the place.

The beach is a bit rough, so I couldn't spend much time in the sea, but this didn't stop me from enjoying the sea and my stay. This was a minor thing.

I would highly recommend Senda Casolina for anyone looking to unwind and relax.

Great staff, right on the beach, amazing food, very close to Tayrona Park (without being too close) and a wonderful place to spend a few relaxing days.
