right in the old town of split!! can't find a better view

Only negative side was the constant church bells going off 3-4 times an hour and they start pretty early but that was to be expected

Best location, amazing view of the palace and church. Charming place, nice room, comfortable bed, bathroom was super! Host has done a good job with it. Easy in and out. Only stayed one night so it was perfect. The door is right next to ATM and gelato. Has a sign of the place, still I froze looking for it 😁 Not hard to find really. Bells are loud. I knew this and loved it. Stops early evening, starts at 6. Did not bother me to wake up to it. Stayed on third floor cause I wanted the view. You get a view from any room I'm sure. I didn't have a problem with the stairs but some might so take that in consideration. I'm 50, so it's not like you need to be young. They're not that bad.

Wish I could have stayed one more night to explore more of Split

Fantastic, cozy room from which to explore Split!

I stayed in the studio room which would be good only for two people - it was at the top of a long flight of stairs, which means it is a rooftop apartment with a terrace and a million-dollar view right across the street from the cathedral in the heart of the old town, the Diocletian palace. The shower was great, the bed comfortable, and it was all very clean. Thanks!

It's not really that I didn't like it, but anyone staying here should be aware that having a location literally 30 yards from the working bell tower means that you're going to hear the church bells - and they start at a pretty early hour! I'm an early riser so it's not really that I didn't like it, but if you're a night owl and like to really sleep in, just be prepared for a series of early morning wake-up calls :)

Very good

Fab location in the centre of Split with a great people watching view from balcony overlooking a main square. Good alarm clock in the morning!! Commutation was great with the host.

Some information, recommendation s about local area would have been good.

Great room in fabulous location. Loved it….but definitely spoilt by the security incident.

Security issue whilst staying there. A male guest used his key to unlock and enter my room (mistaking it for his room) at 1am whilst I were sleeping in the room. My room key also opened the main front door to the property. I alerted the owner the next day to what had happened who explained that a spare key to my room had been made available to a late check in guest so he could use it to enter the main building. He had then used the key to enter my room instead of entering his allocated room. Very frightening experience. I used my suitcase as a barricade behind the door for the rest of the night as I knew this male guest still had the key to my room.

Disappointing

location was very central - but not great if you mind late night noise.

Asked for an iron - didn’t get it on arrival when required. Eventually turned up with no ironing board - so useless. Safe in room not working - asked numerous times to get sorted - never got done so had to carry all money, cards, jewellery around every day. Towels never changed in 5 days nor bins emptied.

Good central location to use as a base. Easy to get to/from bus station, prom and city facilities. Not a room meant

central location in old part of town. Room clean and functional. Had Netflix so could get some TV apart from German.

couldn’t use safe. No outside space. Fittings and furniture not particularly plush but did the job.

Smashing Stay in Split

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and perfectly located! Right in the heart of the old town! Next to the clock tower. We were able to appreciate the sights and sounds of Culture Week without even leaving the room!

The room quite pricey considering how small it was and the shower did not always have hot water but it was fine because it was peak of summer!

location, nice looking interiors

Very loud noice outside until 2 o’clock. Then the churchbells started at 6’oclock. We stayed earlier at another hotel very close to this one where there was complete silence when you closed the windows, so its not necesserely due to the location. Really bad service level, we never felt welcome, just if they only cared for our money. Never saw any of the staff, just received a few bit rude text messages. Lots of stairs we had to walk up and down to find available room, because there was someone staying in our room. Beds very uncomfortable, so we did not get much sleep before our flight in the morning.

Superb

Location, location!! Being in the palace was such a treat once you found your way around. The waterfront was 5 minutes away. The room was very clean, and the soundproofing worked as live music played late nearby. Communications with the owner/manager worked well without meeting.

Superb

Great location. Clean and well-stocked. The soundproofing is good though you'll hear the church bells. A/C was good. Wifi was strong in our rooms. Parking info was useful (Vukovarska street lot).

Some things in each room (we had 3rd and 4th floor rooms) needed fixing. The host does not meet you so some paperwork aspects are handled remotely, which led to some hassles. Common area refrigerator broken. Late check out entailed a 10 Euro charge per room, every place else on our trip there was no charge for that.

Nice View, but Super Small

The view, balcony, and location were amazing.

The room itself was really small for two of us. we only had one night, so it was doable, but longer would have been a challenge. We were disappointed that the kitchen shown is communal and was two floors down, making a tea or coffee unrealistic.

Perfect location, helpfull host. Good, priceworthy breakfast just outside the apartment. Cant ask for a better location!
