We loved our stay at this property. Facility was as described and the location could not have been better. Wish I would have discovered the key to the closet where the beach gear and bikes are stored sooner. Would have been helpful if this was noted in the check-in instructions or the property guidelines.

The house was super clean and had everything you need for a great beach vacation. The backyard with pool was excellent along with an outdoor Sonos system. The house was equipped with all things you need like beach equipment (chairs, bikes, wagon, toys), kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, smart tvs, and even beach towels. The family had a great stay and being only steps from the beach was a huge plus!

Clean, organized, and filled with EVERYTHING you could need! We appreciated the charging station, lamps with usb plugs, Roku, first aid supplies, aloe, pool cleanliness, beach towels…..everything. Location was also perfect. Our kids have already asked when we can come back and we aren’t even home yet!

We had a great stay at mermaids playground. Very close to the beach/town, was perfect for a brisk walk. Although advertised as no beach towels being provided upon arrival we found that there were beach towels from previous guests, which was a great surprise! Heated pool was awesome, would definitely recommend!

House is perfect, i love the set up, the location, and the pool area, while we were not able to use the pool the entire stay because of cold weather, this would be the perfect vacation spot when weather warms up. Check in and out was a breezes and house has everything you could possibly need. We'll definitely be going back

Very nice home and enjoyed the pool and walks on the beach. Chase restaurant great food give big portions and fish very fresh and cocktails very good. Garlic’s restaurant is a must place to go great food and atmosphere. Thank you for the lovely stay

The Mermaid house is a great property. Clean, Beautiful. The private pool is a great feature. Process for renting and checking and out was easy. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

The place was absolutely adorable! Something we all needed, place was clean, had everything you needed, rooms and home was nicely decorated and close to the beach, pool area was well maintained and just a perfect oasis! Our only major issue was at check-in, the downstairs fridge was not working I called, they were kind and very prompt but determined fridge will need to be replaced so upstairs fridge was our alternate. On the last night of our stay, the upstairs fridge went down in the night, the good thing is there wasn't much to take back home from our relaxing stay. Overall, it was a nice place, everyone had enough room, had fun, the pool was lovely, and I would come back again.

It was homey! All of the personal touches were so appreciated! We felt so comfortable and the decorating was beautiful! Didn’t get to enjoy pool, the weather didn’t permit. But it was beautiful and the patio was so relaxing! I We would definitely rent this house again!

Awgree with the last review that the condo has great potential. Located on the beach just a few blocks away from Flagler. Three bedrooms and bathrooms are most helpful for big families and friends….in need of updating and a MASSIVE deep cleaning. Below is a list of all the issues. Based on these issues. Not worth the price. Food crumbs and dried fluids on leather couch & loveseat, master rug has many stains, towel bar (only place to hang towels in master bathroom) is off the wall and propped in the floor in bathroom, master shower very moldy- all over grout, floor, entrance to shower and shower ceiling, gross stuff on walls in water closet in master bathroom, trash can drawer in kitchen on the verge of breaking, kitchen floor was sticky when we arrived, dead bugs & mold on windowsills in both secondary bedrooms, all walls are scuffed and dirty looking. Whole condo is incredibly dusty- including an deep layer of dust on any decorative items, baseboards alarm clock, cable boxes, lamp shades, etc. Toaster oven is gross and placemats on kitchen table have food stains.

This cute little place had everything we needed. We walked across the street on several mornings to watch the sunrise... we spent hours in the amazing heated pool...and countless hours on the patio grilling, drinking coffee, and socializing. Hands down the most unforgettable vacation we have ever had. So many thanks!

We are obsessed with this property. Everything about it was so smooth sailing. The guest documents perfectly covered everything we needed to know. The property was beautifully maintained and laid out. Literally steps from the beach which was so beautiful, but also close to restaurants, and not a long drive to Daytona where we met for a church convention every day. Just the most fantastic place we could’ve found. Didn’t want to leave. I will note for any potential visitors that there is a long list of rules that may seem overwhelming when you receive them after booking, but they are ones that just have to do with proper respect as a guest anyway. Honestly we can’t say enough about this place and want to come back next year and rent it again for our yearly church trip.

This is a great property. It was our second time at this property and the location is so great. The set up for a 2 family vacation is ideal as well!! Only complaint is cleanliness was not at all as good as our stay 2 years ago. That party of the property needs to be improved upon.

Perfectly located, beautifully decorated, amazing restaurants, fantastic kitchens to cook and stay in...plenty of things to do for all ages, all the time. Many perfect memories were made in the Mermaids Playground.

Even though there are houses nearby, the house has a private feel. Tastefully decorated and easy to clean. Four adult children stayed upstairs and enjoyed their kitchen living room and bedrooms. We had a couple of fun family pool parties that ended well.

My family and I had a wonderful visit to Mermaid's Playhouse. The home was perfect for our group and so close to the beach! We especially loved the pool, which was great for the whole family after a day at the beach. Highly recommend this property!

We loved this place. So peaceful. So private. Our Trip: My partner & I, our 2 sixteen yr olds, & our dog. 4 nights, first week in April. Only disappointments: there’s no longer an Ocean View with construction of a large house going in front of this one (but still a great place) Fridge downstairs didn’t work but we didn’t mind and just used the one in the kitchen upstairs. Definitely stop for your own ice. I didn’t realize the only access to upstairs, the 2nd floor, is outside. It’s actually a separate unit but was perfectly fine for us with lots of space. Start the beach towels well before you leave, they don’t dry fast. Best parts: the beach is still a 45 second walk right out the front door with what felt like private access. Pet friendly property with a beautiful, private backyard. Beautiful backyard. The pool was warm & amazing for all of us. We’d stay again for sure.

Great home with private pool. House was decorated very well. Pillows were a little lumpy, but honestly best beach house we’ve stayed in. Great location. I subtracted a star because of sand at entrance (house cleaner didn’t vacuum), but it’s Florida so who cares.

8 adults did great in the Mermaids Playground. Both units had a good layout and was set up with most everything you would need. The heated pool was definitely the gathering place. We'll be back!

We had such a great stay with our group of 12 girls. There was plenty of space with two separate units but still felt all together. The pool definitely was the icing on the cake! Huge pool deck and beautiful landscaping. So close to the beach. Overall perfect!

We truly enjoyed our stay here! The property is in a wonderful location, only steps away from the beach, and also very close to all the most desired restaurants of New Smyrna Beach. They had everything we needed at the house, and the pool and patio area was awesome.
