Peaceful lakeside home.

We loved the property ;-) It was clean, neat, and comfortable for 6 adults. The deck and lake access was as advertised and amazing. The open concept floor plan was just what we wanted and gave use space to have a puzzle going as well as games at the large coffee table with plenty of space to lounge on the rain days. We spent most of the time in the water, on the beach, or on the deck. The view was fabulous. The dogs loved the easy access to the water and the gated deck was so helpful. The loft beds were very comfortable with private nooks, but if mobility is an issue it may not be for everyone as it is a ladder access. The kitchen is fully equipped, however would benefit from some plasticware or glassware with lids for leftovers. Hayes and Tina responded quickly with all questions and we didn't have any issues. Overall it was an A+ stay and we would highly recommend.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! This beautiful property is amazing! Owners are very prompt at answering any questions. The area is breathtaking and the house is very private. We felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves! Plenty of kayaks and paddleboards on hand for the whole group to enjoy. We took the motor boat out everyday and caught some very nice trout! The enclosed deck was great with our dogs, and the view....just WOW! We got to hear the loons nearly every evening as well as a couple of days at sunrise. Might be one of the most beautiful, peaceful places on earth! Hoping to book again in the future, thanks for a great trip!!!

Beautiful house and location on the lake. Such fun with the boats, the fire bit at the beach, hot tub, board games. Comfortable beds, clean house, nicely stocked kitchen. Great deck. Would recommend!

My family and I sincerely appreciate the time we spent at the beautiful Trout Lake Beach House. Our kids, grandkids, siblings and other family members enjoyed your house and all of it's amenities very much. The beach, boat, kayaks and multiple decks, among others, were all very much fun and functional!
We especially appreciate the prompt action of the property owners with the few questions that we did have.
We hope to come back someday!

The pics on the listing dont do this place justice. It was amazing!!! Trout Lake is such a beautiful, quiet lake. Even on the weekends there were hardly any motor boats. We loved all the outdoor seating and use of the kayaks and SUPs. The sandy beach is a lovely addition that extends into the water, allowing everyone to avoid the slippery rocks. I was concerned that the house might be hot at night, but all the trees, windows, and three sliding doors allow the breeze to move through and keep things totally comfortable. They had lots of fans too. The home was beautiful inside and out. Would love to return!!

I was absolutely blown away on how beautiful this property is! The lake, the house, the amenities, everything was perfect. It was just the 7 of us celebrating my birthday. We went out on the lake with the paddleboards/kayaks. We didn't use the boat. None of us knew how to operate it lol. Grill was great to use for bbq foods. The weather was even perfect during that weekend. There's a quaint little store not even 5 mins away from where we were. So just in case we needed a few items we forgot, we were able to purchase at this grocery store. The only thing that glitched was the tv stopped connecting to the wifi. We were watching the basketball game via screen mirroring and the tv stopped streaming. We turned off the tv, rebooted it, even did a factory reset. The tv did not want to connect to the wifi. I have 3 samsung tv at home so once in a while they'll glitch for no reason. The only other way to reset it would he to physically unplug the tv from the wall and wait a few seconds however the tv was mounted on the wall where you cannot unplug the tv. It wasn't a big deal for us adults since we were there to enjoy the lake. The only teenager there (he's 14) was annoyed the tv didn't work lol. Eventually we got him to come out and enjoy time with the adults. Again, beautiful home and they had everything you needed in the kitchen. That made cooking a lot easier for me. Can't wait to book it again next year!!

We initially booked this property for 10 family members to attend a nearby college graduation but those plans changed so my fiance and I used it as a much needed weekend getaway. Our first impression was WOW! Before unpacking the car we just took in the gorgeous views of the lake from the deck. Once back inside, the many windows allowed us to enjoy the view all day long. We had read the reviews so we knew to bring groceries for meals for the weekend. The kitchen is beautifully apportioned and we found all the tools, utensils, and dishes we needed. The weather wasn't great for being outdoors but we did take the motorboat out for a tour of the lake and discovered the loons' nest after hearing their serenade!
If we did have the 10 of us stay, we had some concerns .. the ladder to get to the 2 beds in the loft area was sturdy but felt "steep" to climb up and down for me (age 57) so not sure about usefulness of that area for older adults. The gas grill worked great but if you have 12 people to feed it isn't quite big enough. We didn't find any grocery or convenient stores nearby so bring everything you need!
In the end, knowing what to expect, we would book this property again but probably not for 10-12 guests.

Property was very nice, clean, and large enough for us. The only downside was the lack of shades on the windows in the bedrooms, by dawn everyone was up since we were lucky enough to have sun. It's beautiful but difficult to sleep.

Beautiful house and property! Very clean. Great place to stay to do some hiking, snow shoeing, and skiing. Loved coming back to a hot tub and fire place. Nicky always responds promptly. Really grateful that we were able to bring our dog. Don’t forget to bring your sheets and towels. We hope to be back next year! 😊

I loved the place. It was clean and big enough for 2 families. We stayed the week between Christmas and New Years so there was snow everywhere. The road getting in to the property was icy. I was a little worried about the driving and getting stuck. Make sure you have winter tires or 4 wheel drive. Everything including super markets is at least 30-40 minutes away. If you plan on going and spending a week indoors and cook the whole time, this place is fabulous. If you plan on going out, then you may want to consider something closer to bigger cities/towns. Knowing what I know now, I would bring plenty of food and just relax and veg out for the week. It's a perfect place for relaxing.

For the last 5 years my mom, my mother in law, nieces, daughter and sister in laws have been renting a place in the Fall for a weekend get away! This house is absolutely beautiful is as described and very comfortable! It was too breezy to have a campfire by the lake but we took some great pictures on the deck! The owners are very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions! The colors of the leaves were beautiful! We had everything we needed expect could use a large round pizza pan lol but we made do!
Definitely would love to come back again next year!

When I was looking for a vacation property to host my two sons and two grandchildren, I came across the LoonSong Cottage. It proved to be the perfect spot to have this reunion. It was everything I was looking for and more.

I love this property! The house is really wonderful. It is always so clean and has everything you would need. My kids suffer from allergies and it’s one of the only places we’ve been able to stay bc it’s so nice, uncluttered and clean. It also is one of the only places around that has an actual beach that we’ve seen. Great for kids. Also, they provide loads of water crafts to use, like 3 kayaks, 3 or 4 paddles boards etc. They also provided firewood for a campfire on the beach, which was nice. In addition, the owner is so nice and so easy to communicate with. Note!!! Take Inlet Road to get to the house, not Longview lane like Google tells you too. Google is wrong and the poor family at the end of Longview Lane has been patient long enough with random cars driving down to them. Poor guys!

We needed a week to just reconnect with each other and this house and Trout Lake was the perfect fit!
Great house with space for our adult children and family dog, we were able to spread out both inside and out! Private spot out of the way!
Great communication from the host and would definitely come back!

Loonsong was a lovely spacious and clean property. The large decks were excellent for relaxing and the little peach was perfect for the little kids in our group. Bathrooms were modern and well functioning. We had an excellent stay!

We had a great time at Loon Song. The location is perfect. Although there are other camps fairly close by it felt very private. The kitchen was very well equipped and well maintained. The outdoor space is large and swimming for the kids was fine plenty of room for outdoor games. The deck needs some maintenance, but it's not too bad. Only caution is that the loft (very cool use of space) is accessible by a ladder, so anyone with height issues, or who might need to get up in the night should be aware of it. It is 4 of the 12 sleeping spots, so it could be of concern. The owner was very responsive and helpful with the few questions before and during the week. Overall a great place and beautiful location.

We loved everything about our stay at Loonsong. Lovely clean property with gorgeous lake views. Beautiful clean lake we were able to enjoy with provided water toys.
Can not wait to return.

Our family enjoyed staying at the cabin. The communication with the property managers was perfect. Our questions were answered and the issues addressed promptly. The location is great, the cabin is like new, very pretty and well maintained.
One note of caution: if you plan on sleeping in the attic, make sure you can climb very steep, almost vertical ladder. There is no bathroom up there, so climbing down at night might be dangerous.

Beautiful house with outstanding views of trout lake. The location and house were great.

One of the most well appointed properties we've ever stayed in - super clean, great kitchen, lots of sleeping space but a very centralized house for gatherings. Secluded at the end of a private road with plenty of waterfront. Stayed in the winter to enjoy the ice and snow but we'll definitely be back in the summer. Absolutely the closest true Adirondack experience if you're traveling from Syracuse.

Really enjoyed our stay, a bit pricey however the place is pretty modern with nice appliances. We really enjoyed the hot tub however half the jets didn’t work but we still enjoyed it. Property owner was very quick to respond to all our questions. Overall we all loved it

The view was absolutely amazing. The house was nice, but very dusty. The doors going to the deck didn't open, the bathrooms were dirty, you could literally see someone's dirty fingerprints on the sink and toilet. The fireplace was full of ash. The ladder to the loft is incredibly steep and should be noted. The couch is older than dirt and you sink in. There were no throw pillows, which is incredibly odd. There was not a single shade or curtain in the master bedroom. Granted the view is stunning, the sun shining in at 6am was less than ideal. Being on vacation, it would have been nice to sleep in a bit. The hot water took an eternity to heat up and because of the type of heater it is, you had to shower consecutively so as not to wait 10 minutes for it to heat up. The seal on the fridge was non existent so we had to constantly make sure it was closed. The pictures are rather deceiving. The floors are old and it looks like there was a flood in the kitchen near the family room. The deck could be re-stained and they absolutely need new sliding doors. We couldn't get the ones from the kitchen open at all and the one in the family room was extremely difficult to open. The kayaks and boat were nice and the lake is beautiful, so if you don't mind a dirty, run down house, then this is the house for you.

I was very concerned about the railing on the deck. The deck and the railing needs to be worked on. It won't take much for a person to lean against the rail and fall Please take a good look at this

This property is well described by owner. Kitchen equipment was exceptional. Hot tub jets were weak. Two bathrooms, especially since one was located off master bedroom were tight for 10 people, but overall we were very satisfied with this rental.

Stayed at Loon Song and property was spotless upon arrival. Everything was perfect except for a couple days of rain but because the house has such a great layout our group of 4 adults and 4 kids never felt cramped inside. The top deck is a great place to sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning and an adult beverage as the sun goes down. Fire pit was used almost every night as well as all the water toys provided by the owners.

Our stay at Loon Song was awesome. The loons sang, the fish bit, the hot tub was hot, the lake inviting and the variety of water craft was icing on the cake. Everything we wanted and needed was right there. It was a real camp experience. Watching the sun rise over the lake while sipping coffee was the perfect way to start a day full of adventure from the shoreline. Our stay was a real camp experience and we loved it.

A little small for 8 adults and 3 kids when it rains. The amenities were well used otherwise. I like the unadorned rooms. The area is not touristy. We also rode bikes on the quiet roads. Note to others: bring water shoes.

Upon arrival the place had not been cleaned. We got there right at 3pm for check in and the trash cans were full, the beds were messy w/ crumbs all over the floors throughout the house. This had me nervous with everything that is currently going on. I started to vacuum but my husband stopped that quickly. He called the owner and he sent his family over to clean since they lived next door. It smelled clean when we got back to the place. The nearest full grocery store was 25-40 min away depending on which direction you went. My husband checked out the hot tub right away. It was pretty gross and smelled like a dog had been soaking in it. Mind you, this was the main reason we booked this place. The filter was caked with globs of hair which grossed us out. They had a few paddle boards and a small boat which were nice. They had alot of movie platform options which was pretty cool. The backside of the house made for very pretty views of the lake but the sliding doors that ran along the whole backside were a pain to open and shut for they didn't seem to glide very nicely for us which was just annoying. None of the windows have Privacy facing the lake, so that was kind of weird. The beds weren't very comfortable. Not friendly for those with back or hip problems. It was a very nice location but not worth what we paid. The place itself is gorgeous, along with the showers which were nicely designed. The owner reimbursed us some for the lack of cleanliness. The owner was very responsive. We left a day early. I recommend replacing the beds, cleaning the hot tub thoroughly & lowering the price a bit. The place was really nice overall but it wasn't stress free like we'd hoped. Having little things like tin foil, seran wrap and extra batteries for the remote would be helpful.

House was very fitting for the location. Excellent ceiling fans and windows. Loved all the outside sports equipment. We used them every day. The fire pit was great at night.

Our group of 12 friends really enjoyed our stay at this property. The best parts were the outdoor amenities of the kayaks, paddle board, bonfire, hot tub, and very large wooden deck which made the indoor space feel less crowded with a party of so many. The kitchen and grill worked great for a party of our size, and the showers amazingly always had warm water. Some things that are important to note is the distance to the nearest supermarkets -- we picked up all of our groceries (including drinking water) on our way in. The privacy was pretty minimal, as expected with such a large group, but many of the windows have no curtains or blinds. There is not a photo of the loft arrangement, but both of the loft beds are in separate nooks that overlook the living area. The host was very responsive to messages before and during our stay and went above and beyond what was listed in the description of the property. I would recommend this place to any group looking to relax. If you enjoy spending time outdoors, you'll love this place.

My family spent a few days here and we had a blast. Beautiful camp on a gorgeous lake. Fenced in deck worked great for our dog. A super place.

Overall the house was nice. If I would have had the following details it would have been helpful and would have influenced our decision to stay there::1. There was reference to White Face mountain in the description. This would have been a three hour ride. A bit misleading.2. The dirt road was not passable. Had to park vehicles a distance away. My friend drove his car through the mud and ripped the ground effects off his SUV.3. The closest supermarket is a 30 minute drive. Needed to really plan meals. Would have been nice to know before booking.4. Hot tub temp control was not working. It was stuck at 104 degrees. Too hot to stay in. Also didn’t seem like the filter was working. There was a lot of debris that should have been filtered out.Owner was responsive to calls and texts
