About this house rental
Cabo Tortugas is located in the Pacific coast, 2 1/2 hrs. by car from Guatemala City, taking the Pacific Highway .
Just one mile from the village of Monterrico, our property is right in front of the beach, so when you are there, you will enjoy the view, the sound and the fresh breeze of the ocean. A refreshing swimming pool and a hammock hut, are located right in front of the beach. Green areas with lots of palm trees and tropical vegetation, make it a great place to rest and relax.
We have two fully equiped bungallows, that can accomodate up to 6 persons each: one is located in the first floor and the other in the second floor.
Both bungalows have a bedroom with a king size bed and a bunk bed; the living room is made of two imperial beds, that are used to sleep at night. A dinning table and a fully equipped kitchenette with everything you need to cook: range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender, pots , dishes, silverwre, etc.
The design and materials used in the construction, are local and were buildt also by local villagers. The palm used in the roofs, and the large windows, make the bungalows fresh and gives them a tropical touch.
The place is family oriented and NO PETS are allowed in the premisses.

I stayed in this place with my family for a couple of days. We had a great time. Enjoyed the pool and the facilities.
They have grills for guests to use, hammocks and chairs to enjoy and relax.
The ocean is literally a few steps away and you can find different restaurants within a 10 minutes drive. Overall a nice place.

Place was comfortable and quiet, we have a nice time, and beach was close and a lot of sun, the pool was under trees which was very helpful to avoid the direct sunlight, overall excellent.

Cabo tortugas is awesome . The outdoor space is perfect , the inside is small but it was comfortable for our party of four. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because I believe the bungalows need an A.C wall unit . It gets hot in Monterrico and the inside of the bungalows get uncomfortable hot. While there were three fans provided these were inexpensive , plastic fans that unleast we were standing within an inch of them we could not feel any air coming out of them. Also it would be nice if they provided a grill that renters could use.

We enjoyed our stay in Cabo Tortugas very much. The place is clean and well maintained. The bungalows are confortable and clean. We just took our personal belongings, towels and food. The kitchenett has everything you need to cook. Close to the pool, right in front of the beach, there is a hammock "rancho" where you can enjoy the nice breeze and view of the ocean. A friendly "guardian", who is in charge of the place, was very kind and helpful and among other things, he hired a young lady from the village, to help me cook and clean. I really recommend this place to people who are looking for a peacefull place and to enjoy with the family.
