About this house rental
For anyone who has ever been to Ireland, you know how truly relaxing it can be. But for those of you have been to the West coast you have also experienced the true magic of this country. This house is in a remarkable location with the Aran Islands in front of you and the Burren behind. Virtually every window has a postcard view. And although the views are spectacular, the house has a warmth all its own. The moment you step in the front door, you will feel like you are home. Maybe that's why we have so many people come back year after year. Or maybe it's the truly wonderful friends we have in the area who make you feel more like family than a visitor.
Three of the rooms have king size beds with bathrooms en suite. The fourth room has two full beds with a bathroom just outside the door. The living room has a gorgeous hand carved stone fireplace and two-story ceilings with skylights.
For those of you who wish to leave the house you will find abundant entertainment. There is a gorgeous sand beach just down the road. For the golfers in your group there is a world-class golf course just a few towns over in Lahinch. Also in Lahinch you will find some of the country's best surfing. (And, although Fanore is not yet renowned for its surfing, there is a surf school every summer.) And for those of you music lovers, Doolin is just one town over and is renowned for its traditional Irish music in addition to many incredible restaurants. But for those who wish to explore Fanore, you will find amazing scenic walks and some of the best angling in the country.
The house is just up the road from O'Donohue's Pub and a small grocery shop. Both are within walking distance.
**Please be aware that there is a cleaning fee to be left in Euros on your move out day and is calculated using the number of people in your party.

3-4 people: €125
5-6 people: €150
7-8 people: €175

Loved the large comfortable home in one of the prettiest places I have ever seen. The house was perfect for our group of 6 extended family members. So much to do nearby! I wish I had 2 more weeks! Loved the local pub.

Fanore is a bit isolated but this is exactly what we wanted. We were able to relax and still explore the surrounding towns and nature attractions. Would highly recommend for a way to decompress.
The house was comfortable and was more than enough space for a family of 4. As with any house there were a few quirks (hot water runs out after 15-20 minutes s you have to plan showers)- nothing that isn't easily managed.
Highly recommend for a rural getaway in Western Ireland.

Very Nice stay in Fanore. Very clean; although there were some spiders (daddy long legs) in washrooms. Checkin was very good. After fixing initial e.ail issues, they answered all questions. Would stay at bridge house again . Highly recommended!

My family of 7 traveled all over Ireland and stayed at three different locations during our trip. This house was by far the BEST house. Keep in mind when we travel internationally our goal is to embrace the true culture and not get stuck in tourist town. This location did not disappoint. The local shop, pub and beach within walking distance were perfect. It was a short drive to Cliffs of Moher, town of Doolin, Doolin cave and Galway.
The on-site host was amazing!

Our stay at Bridge House was above and beyond what we were expecting. The location is breathtaking, with views of the ocean and within walking distance to a convenience store and a quaint little pub and beach. And you’re within a 15-20 minute drive to Doolin and other charming small towns.
The home itself is expertly designed for maximum views of the surrounding area and furnished with everything you would need. We especially loved the fireplace - perfect for some cozy reading!
But what made the stay for us was the warm hospitality we received from Deirdre, her family, and Anna. They are the most gracious hosts and gave the best list of recommendations for things to do nearby (do not skip out on Ennistymon)!
We are already planning our next trip back!

The location was fantastic but the house itself has a few issues. For example few of the windows opened and it was quite warm at times with little ventalation. The furniture was old and a bit shabby. There was really no place to sit comfortably outside and there was no way to lock certain doors. But we made the best of everything and had a great time! Anna, the manager, was fabulous!!!

The Bridge House was enchanting. We wanted to spend a few days near the ocean and relax. We could not have asked for a better spot. Activities are near by if you like, but so is a cloud bedroom where you can curl up with a good book and view the ocean. Host was available and responsive. Sunsets were amazing. Well equipped. Felt cottage-y and cozy, but had 4 en-suite bedrooms. Lovely, lovely, lovely!! Thanks for sharing your home with us!!

We had a wonderful time at the Bridge House. Six members of our family, from 3 generations, stayed there for 10 days and everyone had a great time! The description, photos and reviews are all very accurate. Excellent location for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way. We especially enjoyed the wonderful sea views from almost every window and also enjoyed the patio and the floral garden. Fanore Beach is glorius. It was like staying at the home of an Irish relative.

Very lovely location. House is spacious and had plenty of room for the 7 of us. Quaint decorations and comfortable beds. Not far from Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. Also fun day trip to the Aran Islands. Had everything we needed. Deidre’s neighbor Anna explained the house workings and rules clearly. Would use this rental again if ever in the area.

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for! The views and atmosphere were amazing! There is no tv but we did not miss it at all enjoying the lovely fireplace, conversation, games and coziness instead. Easy access to the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin - a charming nearby village.

I stayed at The Bridge House with friends and a friend’s little one and we had a fantastic stay! It was exactly what we were looking for and more. We loved the fireplace, the fact that everyone had their own bathroom and space and we appreciated all of Deirdre & Joan’s suggestions. We put many to good use. Anna was very helpful at check-in and we knew she was nearby if anything came up during our stay. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, it was just as we hoped it would be!

We stayed at the bridge house for a week at the end of August with our 2 adult children and a teenager. The space fit us beautifully as everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The house itself is quaint and charming with breathtaking views of the water. The people at the small general store up the road couldn’t be nicer and the pub across the street was perfect for a quick meal. If you’re comfortable driving on the left side of the road and the narrow streets, there are plenty of things to see and do within a 30 minute drive. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely return to this same house! Thank you Joan and Dierdra for your hospitality!

A modern home with character. Perfect location with an added bonus of a beautifully landscaped property with a variety of flowering plants.

The house was very comfortable with 4 bathrooms, a good kitchen and eating area, a comfortable living room and amazing views. Close to the ferry and great pubs in Doolin, Ballyvaugn, cliffs of moher and Fanore Beach. Our teens took surfing lessons at the beach.

The Bridge House was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures! It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It was great for our 3-generation family trip, and we loved the beautiful, peaceful location.

From the location of the home, the views and the amount of space was perfect! We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed the local beach, walking to the pub and local convenience store, short drives to Doolin and Cliff of Moher. Just simply perfect!

This property is wonderful. The furnishings are elegant, the kitchen easy to cook in and the location can't be beat. We love the quiet walks from the house down to the beach and then up and down the coast. O'Donohughe's is a perfect local pub and the shop across the street will offer many of the things you might need. Anna is a perfect property manager; easily accessible and full of great suggestions. Go to Cahill Bridge Garden! Anthony's in Doolin for dinner (the Thai clams are outstanding!)
We would definitely like to stay here again!

The Bridge House was even nicer than in the photos. It's clean and spacious and cosy. Even though the wind howled at times outside we were toasty within. The beds are comfortable and the showers had great pressure and the baths were a treat. It was lovely to be able to light the fire on a dark winter's night. The kitchen was well equipped for us all to do some cooking and enjoy a meal around a large table. There were plenty of comfy of chairs for us to nestle down and read in. The only thing to be aware of is it is an open plan house so there is no soundproofing in the main areas. We loved the high ceilings and sense of space though and the bedrooms are spacious with stunning views out over the sea. For a winter's break it was a real pleasure of a house to be in. We stocked up well before we arrived as we knew the big grocery stores were 30 - 40 mins away by car but the local shop is an easy walk away as is the pub. It wasn't open when we arrived but did open for a spell around New Years. Fanore Beach is stunning. We also enjoyed walking to the cliffs of Moher from Doolin and hiking over the Burren. The scenery in the area is spectacular as is the ever-changing light. Our hosts were really accommodating. We had a tripped switch at one stage and Anna got it sorted immediately, even though it was New Years Eve. So thank you to our hosts and we would recommend it as a stay.

We loved the comfort of the spacious and well equipped house. It was a great location. Very close to the beach, great walks, cycles and an easy walk to the local pub and shop. Our host was very welcoming. We’d love to return as our stay in Fanore was too short.

Wonderful family house. Rooms are large and welcoming. We a family of grandparents, children and grandchildren had a lovely holiday playing board games on rainy days. On sunny days we visited Fanore Beach and other visitor attractions all within easy reach from Bridge House. Even though local pub and restaurant closed due to Covid 19 we had a great time in Fanore and will return.
