We satyed at Apt B for 10 days and loved it! Thw view from our patio was amazing!
We usually travel and do all Inclusive vacations, but this time we decided to do an apartment instead. This was a great choice for us because we are total beach people, just relaxing and snorkeling is our thing. The beach across the street was rocky, but beautiful for snorkeling! If you like more sandy beach you can walk to the south just a little ways and walk in. Just to the north, a very short drive, is Arashi beach, very beautiful and lots of sand! We explored a lot of the beaches along the coast, our favorite was a swim over from Boca Catalina to Tres Trapi where the turtles swim. This is all within walking or swimming distances of the house, so Great Location!!
There was only 1 thing that was a little different and that is that you have to walk out of the bedroom (which is air conditioned) to the outside dining room, and then to the bathroom. This is unusual but it was ok.
The hosts were great, we mainly talked with Mike, who not only is very nice to talk to, but very knowledgeable about the island, so if you have questions he can probably answer them.
We believe if you chose this location you will love it as we did.

The location was perfect—right by the best snorkeling beach on the island! And Asashi beach was just a quick walk down the street as well with the Beach Shack. 👍
Veronica communicated so well—we had everything we needed. The place was open and we loved that—and air conditioning in the bedroom was wonderful and a necessity! We will come back!!

Excellent location, beautiful property, friendly service.

What a great place!! The home was fun and had everything you need. My only tiniest peeve was that we had to rent the beach chairs. Most other rentals have chairs and cooler provided. That was not a deal breaker for us we would consider staying here again because of the location and gorgeous home.

Excellent apartment, property, and hosts. Everything was as described and the location across the street from Boca Catalina Beach was wonderful (fun snorkeling). The private outdoor area 2 person hammock and loungers pointing at the ocean were a treat. The bed was comfortable, a/c in main room/bedroom was great. You can quickly walk up to Arashi Beach and theres a decent casual eatery there. One thing to note is that you have to walk across the private covered patio to get to the kitchen and bathroom so sometimes you have to plan ahead to cover up. Saw turtles early day at Tres Trapi Beach, had sunset dinner at Italian place at base of California Lighthouse. A great spot indeed. Neighborhood was quiet and safe.

Beach was across the street and loved having coffee on our deck looking out onto the turquiose water. Def need a car for this location. Older home with tons of charm. No one ever used the pool, but us, so that was a bonus!

Here for my sister's wedding. Clean, large, historic space that was a little bit of a funky but fun layout. Easy access to beach. Parking always available. Full kitchen. Wifi signal sufficient to work, play youtube video movies, browse for things to do. Host very responsive to a couple small requests/issues. Only cons were the linens. Could have used newer, softer bath and beach towels. Would stay here again if we visit! Thanks Veronika!

was a peaceful week on vacation

Very nice place located across from Boca Catalina Beach.
Walking distance from Arisha Beach. I prefer quieter locations . This fit that description.Aruba is more touristy than I am used to but this place made the vacation work out. Being able to walk across the street and get into the water was very convenient. Very happy with Apt B. and the location on Aruba. Snorkeling was better than expected, and right in the front "yard". Arisha has a nice reef on right end of beach towards lighthouse about 1000' feet off shore . Highly recommend. Had an excellent experience renting from Tropic Car Rental. Barefoot restaurant was excellent.

Lovely island atmosphere. I would love to know the history of the house. Old world Aruban.
View is beautiful. Grounds could have been more manicured. Right across the street from a perfect beach area. Overall I would definitely stay again.

Nice property in a great location. Just a very short walk to great snorkeling. Also, short distance to Arashi Beach. Would love to return for another visit!

Love the location. Away from the hotel area but still close enough to everything. Do recommend a car though. We occupied Appt B. Great views from the awesome and abundant balconies. Huge kitchen and bedroom areas. Kitchen has just about everything one would need. We loved the evenings out on the balcony. All in all a great getaway. Special shout out to Veronika. Thanks for everything.

Wonderful host and a perfect location to snorkel and swim.

We spent 2 weeks at this location and could not be more pleased. The location of this property is the best in Aruba, if you ask us. It is in a quiet, safe, upscale, beautiful beach, best snorkeling, walking distance, easy bus ride type of location with the ability to cool off in the ocean or the pool only steps away from your accommodations. Apartment B was plenty big for the two of us and we enjoyed all of the space to ourselves without any issues of neighbors or other renters. The kitchen was convenient as we like to make our own meals when we travel but it could have been better stocked with kitchen utensils and storage containers. We enjoyed meals/drinks out on the patio or by the pool every day. Arashi Beach is a .10 mile walk and a great place to hang out for the day. With the house so close, it is easy to make a quick trip back to the house to bring back drinks or food. Our most favorite part about the entire vacation was snorkeling at the beach right across the road. Best snorkeling! I think we saw something different every single time we went out. The buses are super clean, cheap ($2.30/person) and convenient, coming by the house and Arashi Beach at least once an hour. Taxis seemed to be more expensive (despite the rates being mandated) and not worth the convenience. It was $36 from the airport to the house (9 miles) and $26 from SuperFoods to the house (4.7 miles). Much cheaper to walk or take the bus. We love walking everywhere and walked to Palm Beach (3 miles) and Eagle Beach (5 miles) a couple of times. Aruba is walkable and safe both during the day and after dinner in the dark. There is a good walking path along the ocean from the house that runs South down the island. Wonderful place! Wonderful experience! 5-star ratings all around! We are already looking to plan a return trip for next year.

Each morning we snorkeled before breakfast then relaxed in our large living space and watched others enjoy snorkeling from our balcony . Close walk to Arashi snack bar and the lovely beach.

Wonderful accomodation! You need a car; no formal restaurants near by but Arachi Beach is heaven on earth for swimming, sunning, umbrella/chairs, and bar food! Beach across the street from villa is quite rocky and getting into water is a challenge but worth it, snorkling too. Groceries near by (but you need a car). At villa, you have a foot/body wash-off station and a pool to dip in; beach chairs and snorkel equipment available at minimal coast. Kitchen could use more dishes, bowls, lighting but we made do without issue. How about some pot holders! Veronika is an angel! This is an absolutely gem of a place. We will be back, with more family I hope!

Best for those that wish to be away from commotion and crowds. Definitely need a car for this location. Very clean, not modern, no frills has all the basic needs and always felt safe. Parking can sometimes be an issue but can always park a short distance across the street if there is nothing available next to the property. Beach chair rental on site for the week is very reasonable and they are decent chairs. Arachi Beach was renting an umbrella and 2 chairs for the day reasonable and Baby Beach will run you the most. Nice snorkeling right across the street and beautiful sunsets. Would definitely return & recommend to others

We really enjoyed our stay here! Although the apartment has an open space, it was still very private. The location is perfect with being off the best snorkeling site across the road and with another great beach to relax and have food and drinks. We couldn’t have stayed at a better place! We hope to come back soon!

Keep in mind that the price of this unit is commensurate with it's condition. "You get what you pay for" is not just a old worn out phrase when it comes to this property.
This could be a 5 star property if the owner would close in the covered patio and air condition the whole unit. Could also very easily be made into a two bedroom this way but because it is not, you have to walk across an open area to get to and from the bathroom. OK for an old married couple like us but you wouldn't want to spend your honeymoon here if you know what I mean... There is next to no privacy. The kitchen, dining and bathroom areas have no AC and while shaded are so humid we literally stuck to surfaces until the heat got high enough each day to dry the air. We love and travel to Aruba 3-4 times every year so this is what to expect when you are outside in the morning there and again, they do not conceal this in their description so there is no trickery involved and the owners are forthright about what you are getting.
We would stay at this property again but not in this unit. Owner and manager are very friendly an accommodating but charging $25 per day for old beach chairs is being a bit on the cheapskate side and would be a reason in itself that we would not return. We will certainly consider that a negative if we look at this property again. Bob

This property is in such a fantastic location! You are steps away from Catalina Cove and Arashi Beach...both great places to swim and snorkel or just lie in the sun. California Lighthouse is just up the street and the bigger beaches are just a short ride away.
The apartment itself (I was in apartment B) was HUGE!!! I was amazed by how big it was. I had been on Aruba for a few months and stayed here for just my last few nights. On the last night here I had some friends over for a BBQ to say good bye and I really appreciated the huge full-sized kitchen and BBQ grill.
The pool is nice to dip in after a day at the beach.
The house was absolutely spotless when I checked in...everything was perfect.
Thank you to the owners, your house is beautiful and I really enjoyed my stay!

Viola is a pleasant, happy person who honestly runs her home. The location of this apartment is excellent. Very close to several beaches and areas to explore around the ocean. This location is on the northern part of the island, which is quieter and less populated. It’s adjacent to an area where sail boats dock and people snorkel around the rocky shore. If you want swimming beaches you either go down the street to Arashi Beach or drive a short distance to Eagle Beach. The apartment was furnished with furniture that shows it’s age. Sofas with bed sheets over them and a hammock with a sheet over it. Very large rooms with stains in many areas on the walls and ceilings. The secure lockable room is the bedroom. Other people have access to the apartment via the patio and open room floor plan. There’s a nice tv in the bedroom with cable. There’s another tv in the dining room area that is apparently not connected to anything. A word of caution to families, the outdoor walkways have areas with no railing and it’s possible to fall and be seriously injured. The rooms have large openable windows however you must keep them shut because of mosquitoes. The shower has worn out fixtures. The shower head sprays water all over the adjacent bathroom because there’s no door separating the two. The water pressure and abundance of hot water was amazing after a long day. The property has a swimming pool that was very refreshing. Linens were available but worn, rough and stiff. No clothes dryer. The property has access to a washing machine for a $3 charge. You hang your clothes on the available clothes line. The kitchen had dated, worn fixtures with an abundance of cabinets. It was efficient and enough but no extras. There is basically one working light in the kitchen. The refrigerator worked well. No dishwasher. The windows in the kitchen were tricky to use but let in a nice breeze along with mosquitoes. No screens. The good: it’s mostly quiet. You have the flexibility and independence of an apartment. Location was good and proprietor was friendly. The bad: it lacks charm, screens and privacy and areas could dangerous to kids. A solid 3/4.

We were a little mis-led by all the 5-star reviews. This a nice (but little charm, no frills) villa offering great value for a longer term stay (week or more). The neighborhood is remote (west end) with not much around in terms of stores and restaurants. The supermarket is about a 15 minute drive. It looks like a very nice older home that has been converted to the 4 apartments. Because of this there is a little lack of privacy. It was VERY clean and the bed is comfortable. Most of the apartment is an outdoor environment including the shower; the exception is the bedroom that is comfortably air conditioned. Furnishings are older. Decor like the curtains, slip covers on furniture, and ceiling fans are old and could be updated to make the apartment much more charming. There is a big kitchen, but it is meagerly furnished. It is a peaceful area but you can hear folks in and out of neighboring apartments. There is frequent road noise (more day
than night) as the villa is on the main road to California Light House. The pool is small and sits next to the driveway, great for a fresh water dip but I wouldn’t hang out there. The beach is very nice with pretty good snorkeling. Viola offers beach chairs for rent, $25 each during your stay, nice to have but I would expect these to be complimentary or a smaller charge per day ($5 maybe) instead. Towels are old and very stiff as I think they are hang dried but they appeared and smelled clean.

Cant get a much better villa up in Boca Catalina where you can walk to 3 different beaches in less then 4 minutes. Also not many where you can eat your meals from your veranda and have an ocean view unless you are on the beach.
Our villa was just for the 2 of us. We had a huge bedroom with 2 couches and a TV. There was a/c in the bedroom and 2 fans so it was very comfortable sleeping and so quiet. You’d wake up to the birds chirping and coming for frequent morning visits! Beds were comfortable....both my husband and I had such peaceful nights sleep.
The dining/living area was also HUGE and an open space. It had a dining table for 4, another Large TV, a wonderful
Hammock, 2 sitting chairs, and there was a grill for bbqs right there. So convenient. The kitchen was reached through the dining area. It was a dark kitchen but fine for the too of us since we weren’t really cooking. With the windows open in the kitchen we got a great breeze.
The one thing that was good and bad about the bathroom. You had to walk through the open air dining area to get to it during the night. It was good in that you could star gaze on your way....bad for some that it wasn’t closer to the bedroom.
The owner lives on the premises and she is very helpful with any questions or problems you have. We LOVED the views we would see each day from our outside living area. Was just beautiful.
We look forward to coming back and staying here again and we look forward to using the pool once its competed!

had a wonderful time at beach white villa, highly recommend if your looking for a quiet place across the street from best snorkeling on the island, but only 10 mins from hotel area

This place was better than we expected!!! Such a unique experience and we would definitely stay again. Liked it better than our double the price resort. The description does not lie about being across the street from one of the most amazing snorkel experiences we’ve ever had. It did not come with toiletries or coffee, but It wasn’t a problem since we brought our own. And viola was very quick with responses when we did need something. We loved sitting in the lounge chairs up on the patio area overlooking the beach area. Thanks for a great stay.

This property is AMAZING!! The location is DIRECTLY across from Boca Catalina snorkeling beach & walking distance to Arashi Beach. So lucky to have had a chance to stay! Thank you to the beautiful homeowner V!! Monique G.

We are so glad we found this place... the home is beautiful and the location is excellent!!... Everything about our vacation was wonderful and staying here was an absolute joy. Viola and her family are outstanding hosts and Veronika was so nice as well. They are around if you need them but just do their thing and give you complete privacy if that's what you want... I had a few questions about snorkeling and their son was so helpful in answering them and offering advice, very nice gentleman.
They have beach chairs to rent and also snorkeling gear, they even offered to help us find a rental car when we booked but already had that taken care of when we booked our flights...
If you like snorkeling / beaching it then this is the best location (Catalina Cove) on the island and it's obvious because all of the snorkel tours bring their people to the spot that we walk across the street to get to for free!!... Arashi beach is about 300 meters away and easily walked to....There are TONS of fish in there to see and was one of the highlights of our vacation.
It was so nice to grill out on the patio and dine at the table overlooking the sea just across the street and watch the sunset, we would sit there having drinks until bedtime and just watch the stars and listen to the gentle island breeze tickling the palm trees...
Thank you Viola and family for sharing your home with us and we can't wait to come back and do it all again!!...

We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary in this beautiful location! The apartment is exactly as pictured. The bed is amazing and the kitchen is stocked with needed items to cook meals while you are there. The view is spectacular from Apt B and the quick walk to the beach is so worth it for the amazing snorkeling that awaits you! Our only complaints would be the towels which are not soft because they are air dried and the mosquitoes in the kitchen! Neither really affected our overall stay but I like to keep it honest! It is HOT in Aruba so the outdoor spaces were toasty but they provided a fan that we moved as we needed and the bedroom has an air conditioner! Thanks to our hosts! We would definitely consider staying again if we come back to Aruba!

My husband and I celebrated our 40th Anniversary in Aruba. This location was perfect for our quiet tastes. I spent a lot of time snorkeling across the road at Boca Catalina. We also walked to Ashari beach a couple of times. The proximity allowed my husband to nap while I spent more time at the beach. The apartment was big enough that I didn't wake him when I got up for coffee and quiet time. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony daily. We cooked dinner on the grill several nights and went out a few times. It was not hard to get to restaurants or the grocery.
