About this apartment rental
Located in Mountain Village Core just steps to the Gondola- across the street from the Peaks hotel, and with ski access to lift 1/10 directly out your back door- one of the best locations in Telluride! At over 2500sqft it is extremely spacious, recently updated. Unbelievable views west of the “Coors mountains” with over 79 windows! Tranquil space with central location-rents like a house since there are no shared walls. Huge mezzanine/ open air loft, amazing lighting, and modern finishes. All new, comfortable beds and couches. This unit is perfect for 2 families to share and is perfectly located close to restaurants including the village table next door, next to the Telluride conference center and Madeline hotel. It is an easy 3 min walk to ski school/ base of lift 4. Four bedrooms plus a loft with queen bed, this stand along condo (no shared walls) has pride of ownership that will make you feel at home!
Little added touches make it feel like home: Black out window treatments, jetted tubs, delonghi whole bean to cup coffee maker as well as keurig and drip coffee makers, quiet flush toilets, ski boot and glove dryer, original art of telluride landscapes and lovely hot fireplace.
The condo is 3 stories total allowing for extreme privacy, the top 2 stories include 2 master bedrooms and has been exquisitely remodeled with a top of the line kitchen- exotic marble counter tops, sub zero fridge, and wall to wall windows over looking the mountains. Steel accents provide an overall modern feel. The top living space has vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace, and a deck with grill. The upstairs dining table seats 8 plus 3 barstools, downstairs dining table seats 6. The 2 masters both have large, updated ensuite bathrooms. 1st oversized master has a new, luxury king bed, jetted tub, and large bay windows with Mountain Views. The 2nd master has 2 queen size beds. The loft is overlooking the living room and has a queen sized bed. This unit can lock off from the 1st level.
The 1st level includes 2 bedrooms, recently remodeled bathroom, large living room with a wall of windows overlooking the mountains and large green space, eat in dining table and updated kitchenette. The 3rd bedroom has a king bed with TV, 4th twin/twin bunk and separate queen bed with television. Kitchenette includes a full sized fridge, stove top, convection oven/microwave and dishwasher. Includes a covered parking spot and washer/dryer. Additional parking is available across the street at the peaks hotel.
Take a look at the aerial picture below to see your exact location, looking out at the Peaks hotel and just a short walk from the gondola. Prime location! Walk to all restaurants! You will not need a car! The ski access is just out your back door! Walk across the street and enjoy a massage at the Peaks spa, walk 2 minutes and enjoy a yoga class at the Madeline. When looking at ski in/ski out, remember only mountain village core area will be walking distance to restaurants as well. This is a limited number of condos, most of which share walls with other condos. Homes located along ski runs like bridges and galloping goose mean you will be driving!
If you have never been to Telluride, the town of Telluride and Mountain Village are connected by a gondola that runs until midnight and later during festivals. Mountain Village hosts many restaurants, the Peaks and Madeline hotels, and the main lift, lift 4 home to ski school and childcare. Although this unit does not have a hot tub, the Unit is walking distance to The View, a restaurant that offers a free outdoor pool and hot tub for restaurant patrons! The Peaks hotel also offers day passes for the spa and pool for purchase if you so desire and is across the street from this unit. Otherwise, take a soak in the 2 oversized jetted tubs in the unit. If you stay in the town of Telluride, you typically take the Gondola to the base of lift 4 to start your ski day. If you stay anywhere in Mountain Village, there is a free Dial-a-ride service that will take you anywhere you want to go in mountain village (like the grocery store!). But if you stay in Mountain Village Core, you need only to walk. In the summer, mountain village is the place to be with access to hiking trails, fishing ponds, and host to summer outdoor movies and weekly outdoor concerts. This condo is perfectly located for summer festivities: a short walk to concert/movie venues but amazingly sheltered from the noise of you choose not to attend.
Things I love: the view, the close proximity to restaurants, ski school and the gondola. Nice, comfortable updates, 2 living spaces for multiple families.
Things to consider: the stairs can be limiting if you have mobility issues. There one parking spot included. Please be aware, like most places in telluride, there is no A/C. Nights are cool (usually 50s in the summer) and windows are located in secure locations to be left open overnight.

We stayed in this unit with 9 people for the Telluride Film Festival. Great space, layout for a large group to spread out so we weren’t on top of one another. Comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. Would strongly recommend.

Location and home were great… carrying everything up 3 flights of stairs not so fun but we managed
4.0 / 5.0
I was not happy that the limited parking availability, and the multiple flights of stairs (no elevator) were not disclosed prior to a non-refundable deposit being taken. Seems like this should be disclosed ahead of time.

Spacious condo in a great location. House was well equipped with everything we needed. Surfaces in kitchens and bathrooms were clean, but rugs and furniture were not very clean. Overall, we had a very nice stay with an easy and seamless check in process. Easy garage parking for one vehicle. Plenty to do around Mountain Village and Telluride town for a large span of age ranges.

We had a great stay (2 families) at this condo. Plenty of space and all of the amenities you need. We loved the ski in/ski out convenience.

This condo fit our family of 12 nicely. The location was great, and the ski conditions were awesome. We were disappointed that the home wasn't fully cleaned when we arrived and had to therefore change the sheets in the bunk room ourselves. There were dirty pots put away in the kitchen as well. Other than that, the accommodations made for a great ski week. It was nice to have 2 separate TV rooms to allow for adults and kids to all enjoy and relax.

The home was incredible. Went for a wedding in telluride and the property was close to everything and was exactly what we were looking for!

Nice condo with everything we needed for our one week stay. The condo was private and very quiet with mtn views. We had units 5 and 8 together which included 4 bdrms and a nice bdrm loft. It was more space than expected! There is a set of steps to get in to the unit and more steps inside but nothing we couldn’t handle. The kitchen had everything we could want, including an espresso maker, toaster oven, spices, dish soap, and more.
There is only one parking spot in the garage included and no overnight parking in the adjacent lots. We ended up parking a second car at a nearby condo where other relatives were staying. Nearby overnight parking is $35 per night. Everything in the area was easily accessed using the free Gondola. The Gondola access point was about .4 mile walk. As a woman, I walked back from the gondola alone at night and felt safe. The only use for our car was to drive from the Montrose airport and to get to fly fishing locations on the river. There are plenty of small shops, breweries, coffee shops almost right outside your door. Mountain Village is a lovely area and this condo is well situated to enjoy it. Telluride is accessible from the Gondola as well. There are many hiking and biking trails, all within walking distance. We would return to this condo again.
It was helpful that we picked up groceries in Montrose where they had bigger grocery stores.

We utilized this place as a home base for Telluride’s 50th annual bluegrass festival. It was the perfect place for the 13 of us to spread out and get rested up to attend the festival for all 4 days. Great location, amazing kitchen and ample bath space. Easy to get back and forth to town for an afternoon rest then back to the Festival for night time fun. Our host was responsive and our experience was extraordinary!
Thank you for the amazing week!

The property was able to accommodate many more than our 6 adults. We take an annual ski trip to Telluride and have stayed in Mountain Village (the Klammer, others) as well as in Telluride (we have a friend with a house there, and have stayed at the River Club as well). This property was a great location - easy to walk to the gondola and to different ski valiets (we used Telluride Base Club). We liked the bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was well furnished for cooking and had lots of things we could use (spices, oil) - cooking supplies. I'm not quite sure I would call this a ski-in, ski-out as you really do have to cross the road to get to the Peaks if you want to ski-in, out. But it's really close and easy to get around. We took the Telluride shuttle so we did not have to mess with transportation or parking. I would make sure, with a large group, that you have ample parking - it looked like you could have overflow parking on the surface lot behind the property. We have a memorable time, loved the nice fireplace, and found the seating arrangements outside the kitchen was a great place to gather after skiing.

We loved this condo for our visit! Our family wedding was at the Peaks’ Hotel/San Sophia Overlook and this condo, located directly across from the hotel, was a great choice. We were close to family, friends, Mountain Village restaurants and shopping, and the main event!
The condo itself was a great fit for us. (We chose to rent the double unit as multiple generations stayed.) What a beautiful, upscale place! Since we were the parents of the bride, many gatherings occurred throughout the week at our place and the 2 living rooms were great for adult and kids visits. The kitchens were well stocked with everything we needed and the beds were SO comfortable. There was a lot of discussion about the amount of steps in the reviews and they should be considered for anyone staying Although we had three generations with us, the condo was an easy match for our group. Our older group stayed on the first level and the younger families stayed upstairs. To end, we travel often and I want to remark about how clean and organized everything was. This just made our visit perfect! Stay here! You won’t regret it!

The place was absolutely beautiful and in an excellent location, walking distance to everything.
1.0 / 5.0
The location of this property was excellent. However, the accuracy of the property description was misleading.
Property access is all steps, either 24 or 39 steps depending on which way the guest accessed the property to get to the closest point of entry. Another 15 steps to reach the main level. To access the additional bedrooms there are more steps. Be prepared to carry all your bags and ski gear up steps, lots of them, there is no elevator.
Parking, horrible. If arriving by car, don’t dare show up with two vehicles, plan on cramming everyone into one vehicle plus your luggage. Parking a second vehicle at this property will cost you cash and plenty of it. The property owner description of free parking off property is false in addition to the parking rates listed in the information you receive after paying in full. It seems ludicrous to have a property of this size, advertise the space for a dozen guests, yet have one parking space. In addition to receiving $120 in parking fines the first day, my rental was vandalized while in the one reserved parking spot for this property.
To add to this frustration, either the neighbor or guest next door was a complete jerk, complaining about the most trivial, ridiculous things. For example, upon hiking up 39 steps in snow boots to reach the property entrance, the neighbor came out complaining that snow boots on wood decking is too noisy. Next we were asked to keep the noise of leaving the property down because he had college kids that had been out partying until 3am and were trying to sleep inside. It was 9:30am, but some how this was our problem.
The property owner was easy to communicate with and seems nice enough. However, I would not recommend this property. It may work for someone, perhaps triathletes, but I would never stay at this property again. A destination of enjoyment was marred by an undercurrent of frustrations that shouldn’t be happening when paying the amount of money required for this property.

Very nice place to stay and would highly recommend it. It has everything you need in the kitchen and more. We were looking for a place that was close to the slopes so we did not have to walk in our ski boots, or drive to the slopes - this was really close. The ski slopes were across the street as described. We walked across the street, put on the skies and ski down a little path to the slopes. For beginners you could walk across the street, walk down the path and put your skies on once on the slopes. Also, if you plan to park in the parking garage a 12 passenger van was very tight but we made it in and out (very tight but can be done). There were a few small items that could be fixed (management can email or call me).
Overall, we had a wonderful time and this is an excellent place to stay and we will be coming back in the future. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful place.

We were in Telluride visiting family. The property was perfect for us. Central to everything and tons of space.

We stayed here the week of thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The different levels provided space for our families to getaway when necessary. The location was awesome- a couple minute walk to the gondola and just steps from the village. The instructions went above and beyond and provided information about the town, surrounding areas, and restaurant/activity recommendations. Thank you!!

This condo worked out great for our family. Plenty of space for kids and adults to chill out. We cooked a lot and kitchen was really nice. Location was great, really close to gondola. Views were amazing. No complaints!

Overall, this property was a great property in a great location at a great price. However, if you have people who plan to spend a lot of time in the condo (may be more applicable in the summer when people leave later than in the winter) the condo is loud due to the trash collection for parts of Mountain Village being located directly behind the property. Again, probably not a problem when it's winter and the windows are shut tightly and people leave early to ski and are out all day. As it was Aug we had our windows all open and by 8am the noise started and did not seem to end until the early afternoon. We had adults who sometimes needed to work and to take calls and it was super distracting. The noise machines did not help. If you plan to be out all day, not a problem, and maybe not a problem to some, but we found it bothersome for an entire week. Maybe would not be bad for a shorter stay. Otherwise, the place was great, with lots of room, great amenities, etc. And oddly, while the noise traveled in from the outside, the noise between the three floors of the unit did not travel at all so people could do what they wanted on each floor and not bother others. Not sure how to deal with this noise problem other than asking the trash people to not drag the trash bins across the parking lot. Might be worth talking ot them.

Beautiful property in a great location. We had plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 children under the age of 5. We appreciated the very well equipped condo with extremely comfortable beds, with plenty room to find a quiet space. The booking and check process worked well and was flawless.

The property was beautiful and right in the heart of Mountain Village. It was a very easy walk to the Gondola to get anywhere in Mountain Village or Telluride without needing a car. The property was very clean, well-stocked and the owner was responsive to any question we had. Compared to some of the properties in Mountain Village, this one is in a busier section of the village and we experienced more traffic noise during the work day hours of maintenance trucks loading and unloading in the building next to us. Evenings were quiet and made for beautiful summer nights with the windows open and the spectacular lighting options of the condo to create a relaxing, upscale ambiance.

Perfect location, easy access to gondola, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

A FINE rental! Loved how the units were furnished with upscale items (beds, linens etc included in this compliment). Very convenient to Mountain Village area, including Gondolas for rides to elevation for hiking/biking, but also into Telluride. Only, minor issues:
- No big bowls for things like Big Salads, storing fruit etc. Had to use Pots.
- Both Oven and Microwave struggled. Oven never went over 350 and we suspected it really wasn't that high. Some problem as when we arrived, it tripped a circuit and wasn't even on.
Else, a WONDERFUL place... great for us with 7 senior guys, all wanting their own bed. We rented both units, so plenty of room and bathrooms (3 full and one half).
Take it what you will, but there are many levels ... gotta like climbing stairs! I had upper MBR and that's 3 flights, ..which I appreciated the exercise. Add the garage and parking lots, you could do 6 or 7 Levels to get to the top. Really not an issue for us, though. Just be aware
LeighAnn was EXTREMELY repsonsive to messaging. Only one maintenance issue (oven when we arrived was overheating on cleaning cycle and then tripped a circuit) was responded to and resolved quickly.
Highly recommend this property and would like to come back again!

We do this every year. Our family comes from all around the USA. to reconnect in person. We want to keep family connections strong..This property provided a great space to gather. This was of the most well equipped kitchen we’ve ever had. We do a lot of cooking and that was a great asset.

1. There are a lot of stairs If you don’t like stairs, this place is not for you But if you LOVE a beautiful view, a great location, a condo that has every amenity you can think of AND a great host, then this is your place We loved the visit! Thank you so much for sharing your house It was the perfect fit for the adults and kids (they loved the Downstairs area)

We had a great time at Telluride and the condo was a good fit for our large family, with plenty of bedrooms and hang-out places. The downstairs TV area was very cozy for a few family movie nights. The 3 1/2 level design made it quiet as everyone slept. The only downside is that this isn't really a "ski-in / ski-out". The ski-out was fairly easy with the walk down the stairs and across the parking lot, then skiing down the hill to lift 10. There wasn't really a "ski-in" however and we generally walked back from the Village Express lift area. This was a relatively short walk and I was aware of it before coming. I'd highly recommend checking the place out on Google Maps so you have 100% transparency on where it is and the process of getting to/from a lift. The place also has a lot of stairs, which was a pain loading the gear up to the condo, vs. just pulling into a garage (like other ski-in/ski-outs). That said, still I was aware of this and it was fine. The altitude did take a bit of getting used to (9500 feet), but that wasn't a big deal either. Finally, the garage is really tight and due to another car blocking the front area we couldn't park there. We did go across the street and valet for $24/night, which wasn't too bad, but annoying for loading the car. All in all, this was a great place, lots of room, close to everything, and great views. I'd stay there again, despite some of the gaps. The owner was really accommodating for some requests and it was a beautiful place.
