the house and guesthouse will make this rental a true summer getaway - all the feature comforts both inside and out! Comfortable beds and, luxury bath towels, furnishings, built-ins, central air, lighting, rugs, art work, and more! The spacious yard will encourage plenty of lounging under the shade trees, as well as an large area designated for outdoor games. The exterior deck is large enough to host the gas grill, dining table (with umbrella), seating for 6-8, as well as a private outdoor shower. All you need to clean up after a day at the beach, enjoy a few cocktails and get your BBQ going.

Please bring sheets and pillow cases. I will provide luxury bath towels and facecloths...or let me know ell in advance if sheets and pillow cases need to be provided. My rental period is Saturday to saturday during summer months.

Great house that is updated with a fantastic backyard! Walking distance to Nancy’s and Circuit Avenue! Parking was difficult to find so park at the house and walk.

Adorable house, well stocked and very clean. The house location is a stones throw from downtown Oak Bluff, easily accessible to beach and restaurants. Beautiful tranquil backyard and homeowner readily available to respond to any questions. Great choice!

We were 3 couples in town for a wedding and this place was perfect for us. We had plenty of space and it was very clean, well stocked for cooking and has a lovely, cosy island feel to it. We didn’t get to explore much but we did have a little walk around the great neighbourhood and it was only a short walk to the beach. We would definitely come back for a longer time next time

We have been coming to the island every year since I was a kid and have been staying in OB at the same house for over 10. This was the first year in a long time we stayed somewhere new and this was a great find! Quiet location with easy, walkable access to downtown, inkwell beach, and niantic park for the little ones. Everything was clean, kitchen and linens fully stocked. Bikes and beach toys available as well! Separate cottage was great for my parents who could get some rest since my little ones were up very very early! Property manager was very communicative, reaching out upon check in to make sure everything was okay. We needed to replace a light bulb and asked for a drying rack which was supplied the next day. He was also very communicative upon check out and understanding! Overall, a great experience and definitely would recommend for families with young children.

We brought 4 adults and 3 kids to stay for a long weekend and had a great time. David was a great host, extremely accommodating and great communication. The house itself was extremely conveniently located just a short walk from Oaks Bluff. The house itself had a big kitchen and lounge space with plenty of room for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home! It was perfect for two couples. The kitchen is well stocked and the deck was a great place to gather. We appreciated the beach chairs and towels!

Delightful house; great location. Unfortunately, our visit was marred by 3 mouse sightings over 2 days. Owner was responsive and personally came out to place multiple mouse traps in the home. Initially, my wife was quite uncomfortable staying there and annoyed we had to deal with mice on our luxurious vacation. When she expressed this to the owner, he called her "condescending." That was poor customer service on his part. It seemed he didn't understand the magnitude of the situation and felt she was overreacting. Owner attempted to find us another place to stay, but the houses were smaller, not nearly as nice and most were up-island.
Given that 2 days of our stay were marred by the observance of mice and we felt an overall discomfort throughout the week knowing we were staying in a home that had a mouse infestation, and we had to be repeatedly interrupted by visits throughout the week from the caretaker and owner, we requested a refund for 2 nights; however, the owner refused, ultimately agreeing to refund just 1 night.

We stayed the week of July 30 with our extended family, which was 8 adults and 2 young children. The house was perfect for all of us, we especially enjoyed sitting outside on the large deck. The small guest house was a big hit for one family with a 4 year year old!
The house is in a great location close to downtown Oak Bluffs.
We enjoyed our daily morning walks to “Mocha Motts” on Circuit Ave for coffee
We have stayed at different houses on Martha’s Vineyard for many years and found David’s to be one of the more enjoyable stays

This was our first family vacation with our grown children (7 adults plus 1 baby). It was the perfect house for us. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together both inside the house and out back at the large round table. Extra beach chairs and bikes were provided which was great! Walkable distance to Tony's Market, and Oak Bluffs restaurants and shops.I highly recommend this house for your stay on the Island!

The house was immaculate and updated. Plenty of beach chairs and towels. Outdoor table deck were perfect. A nice walk to town threw the Gingerbread houses. Convient general store,Tony's, around the corner.

We stayed here with our two year old and infant and I can’t say enough good things about it! Plenty of space, convenient layout, short walk to town, and the house had every amenity we needed. The backyard, outdoor shower, grill, and patio furniture are all great and very high end. House was spotless when we arrived. David is an amazing host. Very responsive. He checked in with me shortly after we arrived to make sure everything was good with the house and when I told him that the grass could use to be mowed, the landscapers were there the next day. He is such a nice guy! This place is a true gem and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

We had a perfect stay! The house is quaint, cozy and clean. It’s in an ideal location to walk to town and the beach. The property is also spaced well from other residents, which makes for a nice private space for drinking coffee on the balcony. Not to mention the renter is incredibly nice and helpful.

We loved staying at 14 Shawmut house in Oak Bluffs! The house was centrally located, clean, and overall wonderful for our weekend retreat. The kids couldn't get over how cool the bunk house in the yard is. Such a great spot!

The property was amazing! The house was clean and stocked with just about everything we needed. The yard was well maintained and a great place to relax after going out for the day. The property manager was so helpful; check-in was a breeze and he provided beaches and restaurants to visit as well as information about the ferry. Perfect house for our family of five! The bunkhouse is an amazing addition to help host any additional visitors, as well. The house was clean and had a nice open floor plan. The outdoor shower, backyard, AC and washer/dryer were clutch for all the post-beach days. If you don’t want to walk, downtown is a mere 2 minute drive. David was extremely reliable and quick to respond to any questions….We will definitely be back!

This house is adorable, perfect for a small family. Everything is updated and feels fresh and clean. The location is fantastic, easy walk or bike ride into town through the camp. We loved each day exploring all of the gingerbread houses in the camp. Also, easy to get to bike trail to ride to South beach/Edgartown. Tony’s market was a huge plus for grabbing beer or wine or sandwiches on the way to the beach. House is well stocked and patio/grill are great for nights cooking at home. Highly recommend this home!

Our family of 4 (2 boys ages 9.5 and 12 years old) decided to do a road trip to Martha's Vineyard for a change of scenery during the pandemic. We had a LOVELY stay at this cozy rental home and would book here again! Perfect location -- within walking distance to Tony's Market and Sea Smoke BBQ, and nice stroll to Circuit Ave where all the action is. Easy to get to biking trails and South Beach is about a 20 min drive away. There was plenty of space for our family and I wish we could have had family/friends stay in the cute guest cottage on the property. We used the well-stocked kitchen often, the AC was very much appreciated for the time of year, the backyard was large and welcoming, and my favorite amenity was the outdoor shower for after the beach! It was a pleasure to work with David, the property owner. He is super communicative and caring about your stay. He went above and beyond in helping me figure out the ferry (since we were late in booking and the website wasn't entirely cooperative), as well as being flexible with our late arrival. Thanks for a great vacation during a very strange time! It was just what we needed to relax, enjoy our time together and get away!

My family of 8 stayed at this location for 2 weeks. It had just about everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The house and grounds are very well kept and the owner is super responsive.
We really enjoyed the deck and yard for our 4 kids. It even easily fit 4 additional kiddo cousins who came over to play a few times.
I highly recommend this for its overall appearance, efficiency and location!

I highly recommend this property rental...provided excellent amenities (better than the pictures), perfect location (short walk or bike ride to the heart of Oak Bluffs)...and the air conditioning was a huge plus! David the owner was extremely helpful and responsive...great overall experience throughout our 2 week stay!
