We enjoyed almost a week in this lovely apartment during our recent trip to Israel and found it very comfortable. The location cannot be beat, being within easy walking distance of the Jaffa Gate into the Old City and the Mamilla Mall with its great restaurants. Rochelle was a wonderful host, always available if we had a question (even when they were dumb ones). We began each morning at Roledin in the Mall for Americano coffee and delicious pastries, and had great dinners at Luciano’s and the Rooftop Restaurant atop the Mamilla Hotel. Evenings found us relaxing on the pleasant patio. We highly recommend this apartment.

We enjoyed staying at this ideally-located and fairly priced 2BR apartment very close to the Old City and Mamilla Mall area, where many high-end stores and restaurants can be found. There are a number of very pleasant synagogues in nearby neighborhoods, and the general area is gorgeous. The apartment itself is part of an exclusive set of apartments built as an adjunct to the David Citadel Hotel. There is not much of an active association between the properties, but you can park in the hotel’s garage for a fee, which is generally not available to the public, and there is a beautiful garden that conjoins the properties. There is also public parking on Shemaa Street outside the apartment, but the time can be limited and potential difficulty using Israeli parking pay apps. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, and the owner responds promptly to inquiries and is flexible to guests’ needs. Our stay would have been improved had some items worked better like the dishwasher and hair dryer, and the kitchen is functional but not set up for extensive cooking. Still, we managed fine, and lived like at home for more than a week and enjoyed our stay very much.

Great experience! We walked almost everywhere we went. Very short walk to the Old City. Host was very easy to communicate with. We loved our time there!

We stayed for about a week for the Jewish Holidays. Beautiful apartment in a great location. It has everything you can ask for and close to many tourist areas.

The location of this apartment is excellent. Great for access to the Kotel, shopping and restaurants. The home is spacious and inviting. I wish the kitchen had more cooking supplies. We also could have used more towels or access to a washer/dryer to clean the towels.
Keeping these comments in mind, I would recommend this apartment.

This was a beautiful small apartment behind the David Citadel hotel, developed by the hotel. It is a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen, living room and patio. Everything was new or almost new and we really enjoyed ourselves. The 2 downsides were that we couldn't enter and exit on Yitzchak Kariv Street, we had to go around to Eliyahu Shamaa Street (because the condo locks the gates that allow access) and the apartment was missing some basic equipment such as a laundry machine, dryer, TV, safe and microwave and basic equipment needed for a kosher house on Shabbat, such as a plata and urn. Overall those are minor complaints, but in aggregate they did prevent me from giving it 5 stars. The owner Rochelle was very, very accommodating. She met us at the apartment, left us a basket of fruit and some mineral water, let us in early, helped us and worked with us on other arrangements. I recommend this apartment very highly.
