It was difficult to go inside because the view was so compelling! We were 7 adults and 2 small kids and had plenty of rooms and plenty of room to be together. The kitchen had everything we needed and seats for everyone. Location ideal. The house did have two room air conditioners but it was tough to keep all parts of that large house cool. We had record heat during our stay in July so that was part of it. Overall great for a family visiting Lake Tahoe.

I booked this beautiful property for my 80th Birthday July 4th! During that week we had my family of two children and their families, four grandchildren, my Sister and Brother-in-law...plus a cousin and his wife, as well as my College roommate and her husband...all ages 18 to 86!
The property is as beautiful as shown and loaded with amenities to accommodate all. It was truly a Fabulous Celebration...with lots of fun and even fireworks!!

We had a reunion of college friends to celebrate us all turning 50, and we wanted a special location to gather. This home was huge with amazing views. The manager was helpful when we had questions, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this home to anyone.

This was the first time I have ever rented a vacation home. I admit that I was skeptical if the pictures were too good to be true but now I can confidently say, they did it justice.
Prior to and after our stay, we were given clear check in /out instructions. It was comforting to know who to contact if there was a problem. The location was the perfect distance from the Stateline to the beaches.
As for the house amenities, we had all of the comforts of home at our fingertips. We did have some challenges with the stairs, but once you got to your destination, you didn’t really mind the good workout.
The only problem we had was that we could not stay longer, but we will definitely go back!

I enjoyed staying here. Lots of space for family. We stayed here for Christmas. Besides having to pay extra for a Christmas tree to be set up during the holidays I did enjoy my stay. I did also bring my dog and found it hard to have access to a place for them to use the bathroom. Getting to this property was a little tricky just have to be aware not to take the back way since my gps guided me there.

Beautiful place! Couldn’t ask for more. Great location. Stellar views. Fairly priced. The house/rooms were clean and modern. Easy and convenient check in. All questions and needs were responded to promptly. Fantastic place for family gatherings. We will definitely go back!!

This place was even more beautiful than the photos. It was great for our extended family of grandparents, parents and children. Although it has tons of space, it is not the place to bring a hard partying crowd. It’s in a residential neighborhood and quiet hours are strictly enforced, for good reason. That was no problem for us. We’d definitely stay here again. Everyone loved the pool table, theater room, hot tub, views and space.

Overall the place was great. Lots of stairs to get to various bedrooms, but our legs were up to it. Weather was mid-80s but the 2 portable ACs helped during the day. Nights were fine. It took a couple days to get used to the steep driveway and hairpin turns. It took a couple minutes to find the keypad behind the extra glass door. The upstairs washer was confusing about adding detergent, and we repeated someone's earlier mistake and poured into the wrong place, making a mess. Don't open the master shower door too far or it hits the shower head. Despite the learning curve, we and our extended family enjoyed the house, especially the unified living / dining / kitchen / deck. A great house for a family gathering.

There was a lot we liked about the house and a lot we did not. The location was great, incredible view! The top floor was perfect - large living, kitchen, dining, patio... The bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs were not as good. Older carpet, much of the areas did not smell good at all. Did not feel clean. Sheets on master bed were either stained or not cleaned. House was very 'junky'. Electronics seemed old. Video poker games were 'for owner only'. Bathrooms were very odd and not matched up with bedrooms - but we at least figured that out before we got there by looking at the floor plan. Overall, we enjoyed the visit, but much of the house is in need of a makeover.

The home is as advertised. It is a wonderful property. The only negative is you can hear the highway all evening.

This home is HUGE. We had a group of 9 adults, and still had parts of the house we didn't utilize. The views were even better than the pictures and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to experience South Lake Tahoe. Ubers were a little difficult to get, but as long as you are able to schedule the uber ahead of time or be patient, its not an issue. Such an amazing weekend!!!

We rented the property to celebrate by husband’s 55th birthday. The home was PERFECT for our group of 5 couples. The views were amazing, it was very spacious, and there were plenty of separate spaces available if we wanted quiet time. The location is close to state line and all the amenities you need. Highly recommend.

Large comfortable house with beautiful Lake Tahoe views from the back decks. Close to the lake for walking and exploring. Close to South Lake Tahoe for any city needs.

Great views. Cannot beat. Great kitchen. Mostly a great time.
House could have been in better shape. We were there during a blizzard and the snow blower didn’t work. The snow removal team came twice, but we had to dig ourselves out twice to get out of the development. Also there’s a somewhat dangerous snow overhang from the roof above the hot tub that wasn’t removed. Prevented us from using during the blizzard.
The tvs and systems were overly complicated or outdated, so we didn’t use. An Apple TV or an Amazon fire stick would have been preferred.
Overall, good experience but a few improvement opportunities.

We visited with a large group of friends and kids. The house has ample space for everyone to be together or spread out in different living areas. Huge kitchen to make meals for the large group. The view is amazing! There was a bad snow storm during our visit and the rental company was very attentive with clearing snow and making other accommodations to keep our group safe.

This place worked out great for our annual family reunion. It was a bite inconvenient for parking since the driveway and garage were not accessible due to some repair work, but we were able to work it out. The outside areas are not well maintained, but there is plenty of space on the 3 levels of the house . The kitchen is great and well stocked with utensils, cookware and gadgets. The sauna and steam room worked well as the pool table and theater room. Having the beautiful view off the great room upstairs was a real treat.

Wonderful view, lots of space and great location, great kitchen. however a few things to improve
1)overall house is a bit weathered could use paint etc.
2) hot tub is hot but size deceiving really only 2 pp comfortably
3) the deck has an exquisite view of the lake and has glass panels but they were filthy and detracted from the view. These should be cleaned before a rental
4) the kitchen was filled with used spices, etc. really do not want other peoples food in a house I am renting, especially with Covid etc.
5) theater room very cool , however system is outdated and could not connect to any streaming or airplay.
Hope this helps

Very nice home with an incredible view. The home was clean. The kitchen had everything you needed. The hot-tub was often used after a day of hiking and other activities. This home is in a great location, although the price of a great view is going up some steep roads to get to the home. Our family had a wonderful time and the property management company was communicative and responsive.

Although the property was absolutely beautiful, the description on the number of bathrooms is completely in accurate. We made it work but we thought every couple was going to have their own full bathroom and that was not the case. There were only three full bathrooms in the entire place and one was in the master suite. outside the master suite, two bedrooms shared one full bathroom and then what they refer to as the mother-in-law suite had three bedrooms but only one full bathroom. The room with the bunkbeds did have a half bathroom in the bedroom.

The property is wonderful. The postcard perfect views are dreamy. We hosted 3 dinners with our extended family and the place accommodated everyone nicely. The kitchen has almost everything you can think of. All the balcony's were perfectly appointed for everyone to enjoy. Dual laundry rooms and an extra kitchenette were a bonus. We did not utilize the movie room or the firepit area. The property manager was wonderful with his communication. Yes the neighbor across the street is not a happy soul, but we did not bother looking their way from the driveway. Overall this place was great. Note: we rented 2 6 bedroom homes for this week and this one was by FAR better in every way.

House was spacious for our group of 12 adults. I'd recommend going no larger then that for adults. Could fit more if it were kids with the bunk room. The views are spectacular from the back patios and master bedroom. Alone, worth the price!!! We had plenty of space to spread out and find peace & quiet when needed but plenty of space to gather in main living areas. Kitchen is nice, lots of equipment. One minor negative was they lock you out of the griddle section of the stove. The owner locks out a couple areas which weren't a big deal but transparency upfront would be nice. Check-in & check-out we're simple and communication was great. I would definitely stay here again.

The house was amazing and the view outstanding. It was a bit of a challenge locating the correct entrance (the one our GPS led us to was closed for the winter) but the phone # for help got us there without any further difficulty. Very good response time as well. We had a wonderful and relaxing time.

This home does not disappoint. Upon entering the front door you are immediately greeted with a home worthy of it's title as a 'jewel' with an overwhelming view of the Sierra's and Lake. The great room accommodated our large family(3 generations), the kitchen was perfect for us to do our family baking, cocktail mixing and cooking! The Kitchen has every possible utensil, pots/pans, dishes that you could possibly need. The best part was the view and with the 3 outside decks, we spent a lot of time outside - absolutely perfect for our family.
Our VRBO local host was extremely helpful and very responsive to our questions, check in and check out process. THANK YOU!!
We were a little disappointed on the cleanliness of the kitchen - all pots and pans needed cleaning - we would do that anyway but clearly previous renters did not properly clean up after themselves. We should all treat these homes as if they were our own and if there are mishaps, notify the VRBO staff and owners.
We highly recommend this home, it is special and was an outstanding location for our family to reenergize and bond as a family.

When we arrived the view of Tahoe was amazing! The check in process was easy. We were disappointed to find the listing was inaccurate and affected our time at the property. The listing indicated it was handicapped accessible and had an elevator. Beware, this was not the case and one of guests traveled from WA state and had to leave early due to this. We called the property manager and he indicated this was not on Luxevaca listing. This was accurate however, if you are going to have VRBO list your property on their website you have a responsibility to make sure this information is accurate for the guests that are renting the property and compensate us due to this gross misrepresentation. It has been four days and no one has responded to my concern. Also listed in the description of the "Man Cave", was four electronic poker machines. Our guests were excited to use these and we found out they were not operative and had a sign on them stating, Sorry for owner's use only. The master suite has a gas fireplace, we were not able to get it to work and it had wires coming out of the bottom of it. We enjoyed playing pool however, most of the pool sticks were missing the tips and one was bent. For the cost of this property it was a huge disappointment that these things were not inspected. The home was nice but needs normal improvements to make the stay more welcoming. The property manager was a delight to work with though he was not able to resolve the issue in regards to the misrepresentation of the property.

Disappointed in property. Very poor instructions for usage - especially for TV / AV equipment. Remotes didn't function and were not synced to current gear. We should NOT have to chase toilet tissue all over the house - there should be enough in every bathroom. Furthermore, toilet tissue holders in THREE bathroom were all BROKEN - toilet tissue on floor or back of toilet only. Thermostats did not adequately control room temperatures. Fireplaces controlled by thermostat hard to use for ambience. Poor parking and no access to garage (no remote controls provided). Met at the gate by a hostile man on a large tractor who told us we were trespassing and would be getting a ticket from the sheriff if we didn't leave. There is a locked gate blocking vehicle access to the property. Games in home theatre room labeled "for owner use only" - not disclosed in pictures or description. Pool cue sticks - most were broken, and only two were functional at all and these had damaged tips. Uncomortable pillows. Not even filters for coffee makers were provided - the filters on hand were the wrong size/shape for the provided coffee makers. NO dishtowel or dishrags provided for kitchen - made drying dishes or wiping counters very difficult. Could not get ovens to "broil" - no instructions provided. Could not get music to play through speakers in living area or deck(s) - no instructions provided. No network provided to TV's for smart TV features. Checkout instructions did not work.

Absolutely beautiful views, fantastic kitchen and dining area, theater room was a huge bonus.
Parking is terrible and the neighbor is a jerk. Roads to get in and out are not just horrible but dangerous. Awful design.

My family of four, in addition to my brother and his family, just returned from a week at this property. First off, the view does not disappoint. I'd say 98% of the time we were actually at the house was spent sitting out on the main deck, enjoying the view...of the lake and the stars above.
The house is huge. A large open living, dining and kitchen (with view and deck) on main entry, a theater room down and to the right of entry, washer/dryer, king bedroom, and two queen bedrooms, plus a bathroom with tub on the level below main level, and washer/dryer, kitchen, pool table, two twin beds in a room, a king bedroom, and two bunk beds in an office (with half bathroom), on the bottom level. PLENTY of space for everyone...especially the tweens and teens that wanted alone time (insert eyer roll here :) ). As others have mentioned...this is NOT a house for anyone with mobility issues as it sits on the side of a hill, is three stories, with lots of stairs in every direction.
The kitchen is stocked to the brim with every utensil, pot, pan, coffee machine, etc. one might need. I've stay in many places and this kitchen by far had the most I'd ever seen. All appliances are top notch and there is a grill on the outside deck.
All bedrooms were very clean and the master bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms are a little dated but clean and everything worked great. Owner's even leave nice shampoo, conditioner and soap if needed which was a nice touch.
We never used the jacuzzi as it was too hot (the weather not the jacuzzi) but it's perfectly located to relax and enjoy the view. The house does not have A/C but we opened all windows and was able to cool it down mid day (temps outside were high 80s) and at night was lovely...low 50s so nice and cool. All windows have screens so keeps the bugs out.
Two car garage accommodated both cars...large extended SUV and regular sedan just fine. Only warning...there isn't a large driveway or area to park on street close by if needed. Also, one way up to the house is EXTREMELY steep, but there is another road around for an easier in and out of the house and community.
Overall everything was great and I'd recommend this home to anyone but really works great for larger families or a couple of groups of families/friends.

We absolutely loved the house and it was perfect for our family of 13 to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary.
As a rental property owner ourselves in Sanibel, we look at things Alittle differently when arriving. So this feed back is purely informational and not criticism.
1. We feel having a description of the parking and driveway situation would be helpful prior to arrival. We rented a cargo van to accommodate the number of people in our group. If we would have known the layout and terrain we would not have done that. We would have rented two smaller vehicles.
2. Temperature control. Bedrooms were too warm when sleeping. Not sure how you can remedy that but for the money we paid we felt that could of been better.
3. Initial appearance of outside. Walking into the home we felt the area could of been cleaner and more maintained. Landscape bricks were falling over, hose storage containers flipped over and left laying, big blanket left laying on walkway. Master bedroom deck was a mess. Needs to be hosed off so it can be used. The house really needs a deep clean. Ceiling fans are filthy and cobwebs need cleaned up.
4. May need to consider replacing grill… very uneven cooking and grease container spills all over deck. We had to clean that up.
Positives: plenty of towels and bedding, kitchen well stocked, sleeping arrangements great plenty of beds and bathrooms. The view!
Thanks for letting us stay!
