This beautiful full log home overlooks Henrys Lake with views of the Sawtelle Mountain range and the Tetons, you will not find a better view in all of the Island Park area. Only 13 beautiful miles to the west entrance of Yellowstone.
This home has undergone a complete renovation in 2022. Four master suites each with king beds (one room is two twin xl beds but can be made to a king upon request) and each has their own private on-suite bathroom. We originally booked this property as part of a trip to experience Yellowstone. It was definitely a hit! It's located about 20 minutes from the west entrance of the park. I would recommend getting to the park early to beat the entrance traffic.
Our party consisted of two families of four. The house had enough space that all of us were comfortable. The host included some very thoughtful items which made our trip easier to manage. We used the cooler to pack lunches and snacks to avoid having to pay at the park stores. They had bear spray we could borrow (luckily we didn't have to actually use it!), and walkie talkies that helped us communicate during the drives as there's very little service throughout most of the park.
The kids enjoyed the outside space. They played cornhole and made smores over the fire. Some of us even made use of the cold plunge trough.
Unfortunately we left some items behind on accident and we're still waiting to hear if they could be found.

The house was perfect for our family trip to Yellowstone. Beautiful furnishings and so many amenities made for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend to friends!

Just spent several days at this property and loved it! Both the house and the view were truly beautiful. House was clean and very well stocked. It had everything that you could need. We visited Yellowstone several times during our stay. It was an easy drive to the park. Nancy was a terrific host. If you rent here, you will not be disappointed!

We picked this rental because it offered at least 3 en suite bathrooms. A family vacation with our adult children and their spouses. We like for everyone to have their own space, but yet be able to enjoy our time together. This was perfect! We enjoyed being able to grill out in the evenings after spending the day in Yellowstone. The kitchen had everything we needed. We played games, watched movies, and enjoyed playing cornhole out back. The only downside was the mosquitoes, and that’s just the nature of the area. The drive to Yellowstone was easy, about 20-25 minutes. The view of the lake was amazing! Our host Nancy was helpful and very easy to communicate with.

NO BETTER VIEW THAN THIS was a perfectly located and beautiful vacation rental. It was an easy drive from West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park. We sat on the deck each morning and evening to enjoy the spectacular and peaceful view. Nancy was a terrific and thoughtful host, and the home was well-equipped. Everyone enjoyed their lovely in-suite bedrooms & baths. Perfect in every way!

We loved this house! Every detail of the design/decor was amazing and the view of the lake was spectacular! Check in was simple, kitchen was stocked, beds were cozy, and the host was helpful and friendly. Yellowstone national park and the rodeo were close by. Would totally recommend!

Location was great for our daily visits to Yellowstone.
Beds were very comfortable and everyone appreciated their own ensuite bathrooms.
We viewed moose, pronghorn and sand hill cranes from the deck.

My husband and I rented this VRBO to celebrate our 50 th anniversary with our grown children. The place was perfect. Four bedrooms each with king beds and private bathroom. We were ten minutes from Wedt Yellowstone and the park.
Our host and hostess were the best ever. She arranged for us to have photos professionally done in her friends backyard on Lake Henry and personally escorted us there. Her husband quickly came to our rescue with remote control issues.
The property has lots of windows with a view of Lake Henry and the mountains. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed including an extra fridge and ice chest.
I highly recommend this property if you plan to see Yellowstone. The town also has excellent food

If we could rate the overall experience, it would be more than a 10/10. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous with breathtaking views. It was “Yellowstone” from the horse bridle toilet paper holder to the antler fixture lights. The hosts are available if you need anything. We saw many moose, a fox and deer.

So many cute details to this property, and the view is incredible. My teenage boys loved having their own rooms, and all the linens & bedding are super nice and comfy. Loved the patio and the fire table is a nice touch. Great location to explore Yellowstone as well!! Enjoy.

Our family stayed at the R Ranch for 4 days in late Sept. We all fell in love with it. As first time visitors to the area it was exactly what we were looking for. The decor was amazing and every room was special. The cabin was Cozy and very well supplied. The views are fabulous! We went out exploring every day and came back to a glass of wine on the deck. Out of all the places we stayed between ID, Jackson Hole and Gardiner MT ...this place was our favorite. Thank you!

Our family vacation was wonderful and this home played a huge role. Each day we looked forward to getting “home” to eat and relax. It was located centrally to our activities (Visiting Yellowstone Park; Fly Fishing; horseback riding and spending time in West Yellowstone.
Nancy and Reec were excellent hosts and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Great cabin for a large group. View of Henry's Lake is spectacular. Loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings and watching the sun set. Individual bathrooms for privacy and lots of space throughout the cabin to be separate from the large group when needed. Well decorated throughout.

The house accommodated my wife and three children with spouses very well. Each had their own comfortable bedroom with bath plus many sitting areas. The house is well stocked with everything! Great location for exploring Yellowstone and other recreational opportunities. No AC in the house however cools down at night. The open windows do effect my wife’s allergies. The rest of our group was fine, enjoyed the fresh air. Very nice home!

This is the nicest VRBO I have ever stayed in. Everyone in our party agreed. It was very clean. Everything was in like new condition. The beds were very comfortable. The view was better than the pictures showed.
Our host, Nancy, is the nicest most accommodating host we have ever experienced. She thought of everything from bear spray to bug spray to walkie talkies for our Yellowstone days.
The trip was everything we dreamed of for our celebration. Thank you Nancy.

This was by far the best VRBO we've ever stayed at. The host thought of every detail from radios for the park, coolers for daytrips, a working gas grill, to condiments and spices in the kitchen. The property itself is fantastic, but the host was even better with anticipating all of the things you'd need to feel at home. Absolutely first rate.

This property is absolutely amazing! The views were breathtaking and ever-changing with different sunlight and weather. EVERY detail in the house was carefully thought-out, with so many unique design touches. The beds were comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had trouble with the TV the first night, but the accommodating host was there within minutes to solve the problem. While the drive through the surrounding neighborhood left a bit to be desired, it was not visible from the house. Once we arrived, all our hesitation vanished. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. We enjoyed the close proximity to the West entrance of YNP, and did not want to leave. Can't say enough! Wonderful stay and great choice!

We were visiting from Hawaii and had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home. We used it as our home base for trips into Yellowstone and it was perfect. The home is gorgeous and perfectly laid out so that there are places to gather and places to have your own space. Our kids actually cried when it was time to leave because they loved it so much, as did we. We will absolutely stay here again when we return and couldn’t have been more pleased with the entire experience. Simply amazing.

This house is absolutely perfect. The decor is beautiful, the beds are so comfortable, and the view is unbelievable. The owner was in contact with me from the very beginning. She sent me lots of great ideas of things to go do and places to eat. We took her up on several of her suggestions and they did not disappoint. She thought of everything when it came to stocking the house. It felt like being at home and not a rental. There was a sweet fox that would come up in the afternoons and hang out in the yard while we set on the porch. All of our family agreed that this is our favorite place we have ever rented. We hope get to return!

We stayed at this beautiful home while visiting Yellowstone National Park for a birthday celebration. The house was perfect for our group of 8 and offered a variety of amenities to make our stay that much more comfortable and enjoyable. The area has so much to offer, and the house is very close to the West Yellowstone entrance. While there is so much to see in Yellowstone, we found ourselves enjoying the amazing view from the house just as much if not more than what we saw on our day trips of exploration within the park. Nancy and Rees were impeccable hosts and were highly communicative when we had questions or needed assistance. They went above and beyond to ensure our time spent in their home was special, and we are so thankful for their generosity and hospitality.

My family of five, along with two grandparents, stayed several nights at this incredible home. Nancy had amazing communication and wonderful resources for us, and she made herself available for any question or need we had. The home was so beautifully and creatively decorated (we loved the decorative bird in the upstairs bathroom!) and made me want to rush home to refresh my own home’s decor! The beds were SO comfortable and the temperature adjustments and room darkness were perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathrooms were so wonderful. Nancy has everything you need here. We so appreciated the stocked laundry room as well. Everything was so clean, fresh, and tidy. Oh, and the view!!! My goodness the view! We saw moose, deer, and a fox family all from the deck! Book this house- you’ll love it!

This cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. The attention to detail in the decor was unbelievable and so creative. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Pictures do not do the view justice, it is just stunning! Nancy & Rees were exceptional hosts and we hope to be able to get back to Island Park someday!!

We wanted a cabin that accommodated 6 adults with a view and close to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons National Parks. This cabin surpassed our expectations as did our hosts, Nancy and Rees. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, enjoyable, and informed. I would highly recommend this property and we hope to return soon!

We really enjoyed our stay, Communication with Nancy was great!! Awesome view of the lake, enjoyed watching the planes scoop water from the lake to fight the forest fire close by.
The only downside with this property there’s no air-conditioning even with all the windows and doors wide open it was 84° Inside, in the afternoon and early evening.

The cabin was awesome and the decorated beautifully. The wildlife viewed from the front deck of the cabin were Moose, Elk, Antelope, and Mule deer. This cabin was 12+ out of 10. The owner was so friendly and helpful. The west entrance to Yellowstone was only 20 minutes away and was an easy drive. If you are thinking Yellowstone, this is the place to stay.

Perfect place to enjoy the morning for breakfast and finishing the night enjoying the breathtaking views. Such a peaceful and tranquil place to unwind after hectic days. Awesome job renovating the cabin and decorating every room and nook of the house with such character and thoughtful touches. Truly felt the western vibes, the owner's love for the area, and care for the guests' experience. The kids/cousins loved having their private space on one level. Appreciate Nancy for being so informative, helpful and responsive. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and memorable.

This property is in a great location if you are looking to steer away from the crowds at West Yellowstone . The house functioned well for us with bedrooms on each level. Private bathrooms were great luxury. Beautiful view of lake. Property owner was responsive and helpful.

This was our first family trip that was more than 4 hours away from our home. We drove over 15 hours to get here, so I will say we were a little nervous that the house didn't go through or wasn't going to be clean, ect. BUT we were sure wrong! This house was everything we could ever dream of, so beautiful inside and out! The view of the mountains and Henry lake was breathtaking! The host, Nancy was very helpful and nice. She helped us alot with attractions around the area and providing a very well stocked house! All you need is food, she had many seasons (our favorite was the garlic jalapeno one). Pans, laundry soap, dish soap and even shampoo! All in all we had a wonderful first experience and it was really hard to leave! I would definitely book with her again if we head that way! You don't find many great people in the world, but Nancy and her husband were some great people! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

My family absolutely loved our trip coming from Alabama. I have never experienced a greater stay in my life. Very accommodating and honestly only had to purchase food because everything else was part of the experience. 10/10 recommend staying in this cabin if you’re visiting the area.

You can tell from the photos that they’ve done a great job with the renovation – comfortable bedrooms on all three floors, each with its own bathroom, and an open, yet cozy living room. What may not be as obvious is that the house is absolutely spotless and has many thoughtful touches. This is the perfect place for a family gathering, with so many options for being together or apart. It’s a bit far to the major sights in Yellowstone, over an hour, but the deck and its view are so inviting that it’s just as nice to spend a relaxing day at the house. Nancy was a wonderful, responsive host both before and during our stay.

The premier host, Nancy, was just the perfect host! The house was so beautiful and the view was like no other. Morning coffee on the deck over looking the lake and snow capped mountains was so beautiful to wake up to and evening sunsets. I would love to come back again and will definitely be wanting to stay there. Thank you Nancy for the wonderful hospitality and kindness you shown. There were three couples and we each had our own floor. Perfect!

Our family has stayed in many vacation properties, and I have to say, this is one of the most beautiful, comfortable homes we have ever reserved.. The hosts provided everything you could need to enjoy your stay in this amazing place. From bear spray, to binoculars, to cosy blankets, it was all there. The view from the deck and living room is truly breathtaking. Each bedroom and bathroom is spacious and gorgeous! We were very sad to leave, and hope to return for a longer visit in the future.
