The Space:
The unit is located in a duplex and occupies the second and third floor of the building. This unit is approximately 2000 SF, features 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a combined living/dinning space and a large eat in kitchen.
We recently completed a total overhaul of the space and honored the past while bringing it up to today's standards.
The main living area and kitchen are on the 2nd floor of the building and feature, 11 foot tall high ceilings, with crown building, dimmable light fixtures and plenty of natural light. There is also a full bathroom with subway tile, historic style lights, and modern matte black finishes on the fixtures. This floor also boasts two private bedrooms (number 1 and 2 in the photos).
The third floor features two very large bedrooms, and another full bathroom with all of the finishes as the other. Bedroom #3 features a queen bed, while bedroom #4 features two fulls and a sleeper sofa.
There is an off street parking spot in the rear of the building and parking on the street is free and usually abundant.
Guest Access:
The entire apartment (floors #2 and 3) as well as the rear yard/parking spot and the front entry way. The front porch is shared with the downstairs unit.
The Neighborhood:
Manchester is one of Pittsburgh's most historic neighborhoods and this street in particular is located in a Historic district. There are incredible buildings built in the late 1800s up and down the street. Western Ave which is only a few blocks away features great dining, and a few locally owned shops. The Children's museum of Pittsburgh is also located within walking distance, as are both Stadiums and the National Aviary. There is beautiful Park; Allegheny Commons as well as the equally historic "Mexican War Street" and Randy-land.
The neighborhood is certainly Urban and you will experience all of the sights and sounds of the City. Although the street is relatively quiet there are always people coming and going, everyone is friendly and will say hello.
Getting Around:
This neighborhood is walkable, but there is a bus stop two blocks away to get into town or other destinations if needed. Ubers, Lyfts and taxis are plentiful
Interaction with Guests:
I am only a message away if you need anything at all. My office is about a 7 minute drive way so we can be there very quickly if needed.

The neighborhood wasn't what we were expecting but the property itself was nice and clean. The street outside had trash all around so that didnt leave a good impression. Overall we were comfortable and had a good time
