About this house rental

Set within the trees and surrounded by the neighborhood wildlife, this charming 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home has everything one would need for the perfect Cape Cod vacation, including stunning sunset views across the Wellfleet Bay and a gorgeous stretch of private beach that is just a minute walk from the front door. The home truly epitomizes the feeling of Cape Cod life. The decor is comfortable and welcoming and the structure of the house fits right into its natural surroundings. Much of the top floor is a large open space, consisting of a living room and entertainment area, dining area, an adjoining half bath, and a kitchen with every piece of cookware or gadget that you could ever need. Next to this gathering area is the primary bedroom suite. This levels walls are lined with glass doors and large windows, opening up the space to the outside views, sunlight, and wrap around porch that is perfect for outdoor entertaining. Downstairs are three additional bedrooms, each with its own unique look and feeling. There is an additional primary suite with full bath. The two other rooms each have two twin beds. The lower floor has two full bathrooms, laundry room, and the front door that leads to another wrap around deck with an outdoor shower.

Properties on Lieutenant Island are accessed via a short causeway that at times can be covered by water at high tide (two times a day for approximately one hour). A tide chart is supplied to plan accordingly.

The house was spacious, attractive and well-equipped with kayaks and other beach paraphernalia, as well as an outdoor grill and cooking equipment. Although it is not located directly overlooking the water, there is a slight view of the bay from the upper deck. Wellfleet and Provincetown, as well as beach areas, are an easy drive from the Island.

The house was lovely and the stroll to the beach beautiful. We really appreciated the many extra efforts to make us comfortable (we forgot laundry detergent but, low and behold, it was there).

Lovely property and exactly as described. We loved our November stay but it must be gorgeous when it is warm enough to use the beautiful decks. Views were awesome
