About this cottage rental

This bright and pristine property is located just North of Alpine Helen.

Everything is sparkling and new in this little cottage for a family of four or six. The front porch welcomes you to sit and rest for a while.

Enter into the living room with modern decor, a ceiling fan, and a smart TV. The front guest bedroom has a brand-new king-size bed. The separate dining room features a large oval table and artistic chandelier. To the right side of the dining room is the master bedroom with a queen-size bed and private bath. There is a shower/tub combination and a single-sink vanity. There is also a sleeper sofa for two in the living room.

The kitchen has all new full-size appliances including a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The green cabinets and granite countertops give the kitchen a cool and refreshing atmosphere. The small appliances are a standard coffee maker, a toaster oven, and a blender. The cabinets are filled with dinnerware, glassware, and cookware, while the drawers contain cooking utensils and flatware.

Off the kitchen is the second bathroom with a shower/tub combination. The backyard is just out the kitchen door. The gas grill and outdoor furniture are close by and there is a short path to a separate laundry room. The laundry room has a new washer and dryer, laundry sink, iron and ironing board.

There are outside games for the whole family to enjoy, including cornhole, badminton and croquet.

This was the cleanest house I have stayed in. Is so cozy and warm. My family and I loved it. Is a 2 minute car ride to downtown Helen, which we love and probably a 7 minute walk.

Georgia Mountain Rentals has great customer service. Checked on us during our stay. Highly recommended and will book with them again on our next trip back.

This cottage is adorable! It was clean, comfortable, perfect location for tubing and just a short 1 minute drive to town. If we travel to Helen in the future we will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was very convenient to downtown and plenty of room! The only thing there was no linen for the pull out bed and none for the extra pillows, so we had to go purchase some! Other than that it was great!

The house was very nice, clean, just what we needed. We didn't do any cooking as we was there to try all of the German restaurants in Helen. Met a neighbor that was very friendly in which we enjoyed their conversation.

We have stayed here the same weekend two years in a row now and plan to do the same next year. The rate is good, the place is very nice, the surrounding neighborhood is quiet. Grab some groceries and the cottage have everything you could need. We love staying here!

We LOVED the property! It was perfect for our party. It is close to town, but not walkable. The only complaint would be the hot water for showers ran out quickly.

The house was very cute but the layout was strange for 2 couples. The second bathroom was not close to the second bedroom. We thought we would be able to walk into Helen but the 1 mile to Helen did not have sidewalks and it was along Highway 17 which is a very busy road. Needless to say we had to drive into town during Octoberfest which we wanted to avoid. Advice - Make sure that you take shampoo/conditioner type toiletries with you. Also, very little spices in the kitchen for cooking. Thank good ness we had planned on eating out. Overall, we would stay here again but not during a busy season in Helen.

The place was nice but we are both handicapped and the bed was to high to get into. we could not figure out how to work the TV at all. There was no ice maker to be had. My wife had to use the magazine box to get in and out of the bed. Over all we liked the cottage. It was nice to sit on the porch and read.

The cottage was easy to find, impeccably clean, and in a very quiet neighborhood that was a short drive into the heart of Helen. It is super close to Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls. The house would be nice for a couple or small family.

This property was phenomenal through and through. Such a lovely house and on a quiet street with friendly neighbors to boot. Was very clean, had everything we needed and was exactly what we were looking for. Property management was helpful and timely any time I reached out. Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came for a two night stay and left our outdoor gear on the front porch. While we were out two individuals came and took our paddle boards, duffles, a white comforter, and later we found out they also took our gun in its silver case. The neighbors described an old woman and heavy set man taking our things and said they also enterd the rental property. We contacted Ga Mtn Rentals to share the crime and the female on the phone walked to a nearby place at their office can confirmed that she saw our paddle boards and gave us the address to come pick them up with no explanation as to why things had been removed. When we realized the gun case and bun were missing we called back. They are not taking this seriously and we are pursuing for a return or the weapon or compensation. Cleanliness and location mean nothing if your belongings are not secure and management cannot be accountable for their criminal staff.
