We enjoyed our stay at this home! The views were gorgeous and we quickly saw how beautiful both the sunrise and sunset is each day at this location. The neighborhood is nice as well. There were a few issues that popped up during our stay. The pump for the slide wasn’t working. They sent someone out to fix it but he said that the pump needs to be replaced. The house has 2 dishwashers which is nice; however, one of the dishwashers didn’t work. They also tried fixing that but after the maintenance person left, it stopped working again. The water pressure is an issue as well. It seems the houses in the neighborhood are on well water which might be the issue. It’s difficult for a house with that many bathroom on well water. We could only shower one at a time and couldn’t run the dishwasher or washing machine at the same time as someone taking a shower. The last issue (which is out of the owner’s hands) was that they were building a house next to this house at the time of our stay so it was loud and the construction crew was blowing plastic shavings into the water from their decking which then ended up all along where our family was swimming. All that being said- we enjoyed our stay and the positives definitely outweighed the negatives! The property is beautiful and has many amenities that made the stay enjoyable like the fire pit in the backyard with firewood. The owners also provide toiletries like shampoo/conditioner, soap, etc. The beds in the house are really comfortable and they have amazing pillows! The nice outside furniture is also a big plus!

It’s a brand new house and has enough rooms for 4 families. Living room is not huge, however the rooms are great! So closed to the lake and the view is fantastic! We enjoyed our stay.

The house was amazing. We brought some slip n slides for the kids to play with our front. We brought our boat the dock was amazing. The house has everything we needed and just great all around. All 13 of us were very comfortable.

We recently stayed at Sunrise Sunset and had a mixed experience. The home itself was lovely, but several issues made our stay feel a bit like being stuck in the twilight zone.
On the first day, we encountered no water pressure, forcing us to fill pitchers and cups from the sink to wash up after a day at the lake. Additionally, the water slide pump was not working, causing the kids to get stuck on the slide, and the air conditioning failed to operate. VaCasa promptly sent a maintenance team the next morning, and they managed to fix all three issues. However, the air conditioning broke again 24 hours later, this time during the peak heat of the day, turning the house into a sauna. Once again, VaCasa was quick to respond and sent someone out to fix the problem.
To top it off, we lost internet on our last evening. Despite these inconveniences, VaCasa's responsiveness in addressing the issues made our stay more pleasant.

If you're looking for a nice lake house, look no further. Convenient to boat launch, nice dock with slide and beach for the kids, good fishing, fire pit, friendly neighbors... We would def stay here again.

Five of us, I and my two kids (one older young adult/one teen), my teenager’s BFF & mother, spent the weekend recently (mid-March). What a great time, but my only complaint is that the time was too short and we didn’t want to return home! This is my second time staying – one previous time with husband and our two kids, but in the winter, and it was just as wonderful. We all had our pick of rooms like before and I chose the Master bedroom on 2nd floor, which has its own little balcony - so nice to step out and breathe the fresh air/soak in the sunshine to start the day off perfectly. We made brunch and dinner a couple of times – stove, waffle maker, oven, grill on the deck, and the two dishwashers work great. Beds are very comfortable, area is peaceful/quiet, and amenities are convenient – TV, Wifi, ping pong/air hockey table in basement, volleyball net in front yard, firepit in backyard, well-stocked kitchen, etc. We were very happy to see the new edition of a beautiful stone path walkway from the walkout basement to the backyard/firepit/boat slip. The weather was magnificent with bright sunshine/not a cloud in the sky on the first full day and cloudy but warm on the second day; no rain yay! Everything was a feast for the eyes, as the trees were in bloom since it was less than a week before the official start of Spring. The owner of the property came for a visit on day one and was so kind to take us out on the pontoon boat. The lake was very calm, despite the windy conditions. I am prone to motion sickness, but I had absolutely zero issues. My son’s cap blew off due to the wind, but we had fun going back and forth retrieving it LOL! Going out on the lake and getting a personal tour from the homeowner was definitely a highlight of our stay. We took a stroll down to the boat slips, the small sandy beach, and enjoyed skipping rocks on the lake. We all slept in the bedrooms upstairs. My daughter and her BFF used the karaoke machine and had a blast singing. They also had fun making fruit skewers and cookies in the spacious kitchen. If given the opportunity, we would return in a heartbeat – thank you for the fond memories…

We came from different parts of the state and met here. The house was great for everyone! It rained most of the trip so we got to enjoy the indoor amenities and did a mix of cooking and eating out. The kitchen was one of the best vacation kitchens we've used before. We look forward to meeting here again and taking advantage of the outdoor activities because we love to kayak. We definitely recommend staying here!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious and clean and thoughtfully put together. The grounds are beautiful. The canoes are perfect for paddling on the lake. The location is safe, quiet and beautiful. We will definitely return! Highly recommended!

We had a great February weekend here and enjoyed our time! Everything was clean and operated quite well. Since the weather was nice for February, we spent as much time on the dock as possible. The newish walkway to the dock was very nice, and there is a fridge on the dock, which decreased having to go back and forth for drinks and snacks. I saw a comment about water pressure, which had to do with the filter system. We had great water pressure as the filters were just replaced. If there is water pressure issues, just contact the management and they'll get if fixed immediately. We grilled steaks one evening and the grill worked perfect, unlike other houses we've rented.

This comfortable, fully-stocked lake house I has everything you need and more. I’ve stayed here a few times already and will definitely be back!

The home was lovely. Well decorated, well stocked. There was no book or print outs stating crucial details, such as: when the trash was picked up and where to put it, where the emergency room was, or hospital. Where grocery store was.
The home was not cleaned. Under couch was dirty, fridge was not cleaned and upstairs mirror in bathroom had make up on it.
Lack of communication between maintenance and the person in charge. Fridge downstairs did not work and come to find out maintenance knew about this and that another one was on order but the person we were talking to did not know this.

I rented this house for a long weekend girls trip. We loved the front and back porches/decks and got to enjoy watching the sun rise and set. All of the bedrooms are very well designed and most beds have adjustable bedframes! Everyone enjoyed the living/dining space to get together and watch tv, eat meals, and play games. One thing that you don't see in the pictures is the great soaking tub off the primary bedroom, which I will plan better for on my next trip. The host, Dave, is very friendly and responsive. We will definitely come back and bring the family next time. The kids will love the sandy beach access, water slide, and other amenities!

What a perfect New Year's weekend, great way to unwind, and have quality family time! I, husband, and kids - two teenagers (one older young adult/one younger) - didn't want to leave, and our kids are not easy to please! House had everything you could imagine, spacious and well-stocked kitchen with huge fridge/so much cabinet space/2 dishwashers, air hockey in the basement, TV's in most rooms, more bathrooms than we needed, large closets/a couple of walk-in, washer/dryer, huge outdoor space in front yard with volleyball net, giant backyard off beautiful porch complete with boat slip and kayaks, firepit near the lake shore in backyard, and 2nd floor porch from front of house with amazing view of the sunset. Stove, counter toaster oven, toaster, regular oven, and waffle maker work great. Master bedroom on 2nd floor was an oasis with its own little balcony - so nice to step out upon waking for the day. Beds were so comfortable, neighborhood was quiet, and wonderful amenities - Roku, Apple TV, HBO, news, Wifi worked great, you name it. We had brought some food with us, but since we got a really late start the next day, we had to make a last minute run to the store on New Year's Eve to get groceries and beverages to celebrate. Dollar General is only about 5 minutes away, and the Food Lion is about 11 minutes, found mostly what we needed. Used gas grill on New Year's Eve to cook hamburgers and steak, worked perfectly. We opted to use firepit on New Year's Day evening since it was a little rainy on New Year's Eve. Wood was plentiful, and although it was still a little wet, we managed to get a fire going and enjoyed our S'mores. Although first full day was cloudy with some rain, the weather really cooperated on New Year's Day and the day of our departure back home - temps in the high 50's with magnificent sunshine. Ambiance in the house was cozy - felt right at home with the Christmas decorations still up and the fireplace in the living room (not sure if it was electric/gas?) that warmed up the area so efficiently. Thermometers in multiple areas of the house to control temperature in bedrooms, etc. was a plus. Mostly spending our time at the house and on the property, we really had a true break from the hustle and bustle of work and the daily grind. We even played Uno, Sequence, and watched a couple of movies together! Husband and son took kayaks out New Year's day late afternoon/early evening and loved it. Night sky view of the stars was amazing, with minimal light pollution. Daily walks with kids around the neighborhood was a welcome change from my usual strolls back home. We all slept in the bedrooms upstairs. The basement is set up more for families with younger kids - two rooms and an ensuite bathroom and a sleeper-sofa in the main area near the air hockey table and fridge. Another half-bath for those who sleep on sofa, convenient. Large garage for car, didn't use. All in all, a spectacular weekend for all of us to re-connect and bond together...

1st. Let me say we've already booked the house for next week ... again. We build Custom Water Features and sometimes it makes sense to stay close to the job , instead of commuting.
The house is 6 minutes from our jobsite. Overall, our stay was enjoyable. The house is right on the water and you can view the water from almost anywhere in the house.
The house could have been cleaner. The fans , the garage, baseboards........ the counter felt like it had sand on it.
However it didn't scare us away. Well be back next week. Vacasa is Always prompt with communicating and hopefully prompt in correcting......🙂

Our overall stay was great. The house provided plenty of room for our party of 12. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were extra comfortable. There was a pre-lit Christmas tree with ornaments set up prior to our arrival which was the perfect added touch to our stay. My only caveat is that I had slight difficulty with the lock code at check-in but the issue was resolved quickly. There were a few cosmetic issues as well but nothing major that affected our overall stay.

We loved how big the living space / dining area was to accommodate our large family. The house was clean & had many bedrooms/bathrooms. The lake view is beautiful and provided for some awesome outdoor time.

My friends and I who live all over the country and get together once a year rented this house on Lake Anna for our reunion and had the most wonderful weekend! We played cornhole and volleyball in the front yard, and kayaked and swam in the backyard. Some of us even braved the chilly air to use the water slide! We had a big bonfire and roasted smores and spent every morning on the back porch drinking coffee and admiring the views. The kitchen is well-stocked and the house is spacious enough to accommodate our group which was 15 people and 3 dogs. We will definitely be back! Our only gripe was that the 10 am check-out on Sunday came a bit too early after such a fun weekend.

Well kept. Nice location! Certainly enough room for 19 guests. Kids of all ages had fun on the water slide. Enjoyed playing table tennis. Kitchen had all necessary utensils and beyond. The two dishwashers made life easy . Linens and towels were provided . We would rent Sunrise Sunset again for a large family gathering

What you see in the listing is what you get. It’s a brand new huge modern house with its own private dock and everything you need to have a great vacation. There were 7 adults and 5 kids in our group and we could still get away from each other with no problem if needed. You can’t beat that! I’m definitely booking this one again next year.

Amazing new stay that was perfect for our group. Had a dock to tie up our boat on the private side of the lake. Equipped with everything we needed.

Our group of 12 adults gathered at SunriseSunset for a family reunion. We could not have chosen a better location. Vacasa ensured we had the information we needed to check in, supplied contact numbers and electronic mail addresses for use if we had any questions or concerns during our stay, and provided clear instruction as to what we needed to do at check out. The house matched the description on the website, and it was immaculate. An abundant supply of cooking utensils, servingware, and drinkware were available in the large kitchen. The dining table and seating in the family room easily accommodated our group. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and were stocked with plenty of pillows, blankets, toiletries, and bath towels. We spent time playing games in the lower-level recreation room, took advantage of the fire pit each evening, enjoyed the canoe, small beach area, and the dock on the lake. Our only suggestions include building a sidewalk from the driveway to the front door, adding a chair and a clock in each bedroom, and providing stepping stones that lead from the house to the lake. We are already talking about going back to SunriseSunset for our next reunion!

This place has everything you’d want in a lake house & more. My friends and I went from making coffee & watching the sunrise on the deck to playing volleyball in the front yard and cooling off in the lake with a slide that goes right into the water. The decor is nice and there’s some great restaurants in the area too (Chef Lee & Tim’s). There are plenty of things for both adults and kids to enjoy as well!
I highly suggest choosing here if you want a place to stay on Lake Anna!
